Amplia casa de 4 habitaciones con encanto clásico de Tahoe. Chamberlands HOA w / BEACH- Gran casa en entorno privado en West Shore .. Rutas de senderismo para explorar desde la puerta principal. Cabina clásica de Tahoe con patio abierto. Excelente ubicación en la costa oeste a una corta distancia a pie de la estación de esquí de Homewood, West Shore Cafe, Obexers Market y Homewood Marina.

Ingrese al baño de barro donde puede dejar caer sus toallas de playa, o botas y guantes. Luego, siga derecho a la sala de estar, donde se encuentra con una chimenea de piedra y grandes ventanales que dan al gran patio trasero. El gran patio trasero no tiene vecinos en el patio trasero, por lo que te sentirás como si estuvieras en un espacio tranquilo mientras disfrutas de esa taza de café de la mañana en la gran terraza.

The cabin was perfect for our stay. Very close to Homewood Ski Resort and it had a nice backyard. Check-in was easy and the host was responsive. They were very understanding when we arrived a little earlier than planned (we were anticipating worse weather, but had a very smooth drive up). The kitchen was large and the rooms were very comfortable. Perfect for iur group. We lived all the "rustic" touches to the decor. It was very nostalgic for us and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

This home needs major help! I understand the Retro means out dated but this was far worse. The beds, bedding, towels and cookware needed to be replaced ASAP. Definitely would not recommend this place!

Great Family Vacation Home

Great home for family get away. Fully stocked and convenient location. Pet friendly home with nice deck and cozy fireplace. Dated but very clean. Big comfortable furniture. We will be requesting this home again.

Great location for outdoor activities

We were able to snow show on trails right across the street. Only one block to Homewood ski resort and a half of a mile from state park with cross country skiing. We did it al!! Also loved the wood burning fireplace.

Wonderful Family vacation

Quiet and roomy stay

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We held a family reunion of 12 at the house in early September. We found the house roomy enough for all of us, with deck and living areas to spread out in. I would consider renting this house again next year.

June 2019 stay

Nice location! Good trail just down the street. The house was good. The deck was good. The backyard was good. The bears were bold but harmless. We suggest considering an upgrade to the provided towels, silverware, and some other domestic tools. Most were tolerable but not quite up to standards expected for a place at this price point. The interior design was retro for sure, which we liked.

Wonderful stay at Retro Chamberlands

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Returned this summer for another fantastic week. The house is roomy, comfortable, and well equipped. Easy walk to Homewood and perfect starting point for biking to Sunnyside and Tahoe City. Chamberlands Beach and Chambers Landing Bar/Restaurant did an excellent job of accomodating social distancing, much better than the scary photos we saw of other too-crowded locations.

Old Tahoe’s sweet spot

We like to experience Tahoe as if it were not a world class destination with all the trappings of luxury lifestyle but rather as the cozy local getaway it was known for years ago, and to a smaller extent, presently. The Tahoma, Homewood and West Shore areas generally maintain that old Tahoe vibe and we appreciate that this rental is right in the mix of it. Homewood ski resort (Keep it Local!) is a short 5 minute walk, as is the beautiful waterfront, piers, general store and dining options. We loved our stay, and felt the home was perfect for our group. Kitchen was spacious and communal with everything you would need. Sleeping rooms were comfortable and clean. I only wish we had more time, but maybe next time we visit.

House was ok, but for the money I would expect a few things would be different. Kitchen was nice, actually all of the downstairs was nice, but the decor and some of the furniture was very outdated and garage sale-ish. None of this is a big deal, what made me give the 3 star rating, instead of 5 is that the bathroom rug downstairs was so dirty that I didn't want to step on it barefooted! Pillows were not comfortable and bed was marginal in the downstairs bedroom. Closet was so full of quilts, etc that there was no room to hang our clothes. Also, there were only 5 people in a house that would sleep 10 and we had to go buy toilet tissue on the next to last day.
