Beautiful studio apartment located in one of the trendiest areas of Barcelona. Is the whole place for you, not shared. The apartment is centrally located in the border of El Raval half block from Poble Sec. You will be very close to Metro, Sant Antoni Market, Parlament Street, MACBA, Joaquín Costa street, Barrio Gotico, Montjuic and tons of shops, bars, and cafes along the way.
The studio is a 10 minute walk from La Rambla and the Boqueria Market, 15 min walk from Plaza Catalunya, and just 20 minutes to Barcelona Beach on foot.

Our stay was nice, just as it looks in the photos. The check in and check out process could have been better, the check in was later than we were told and the checkout was an hour earlier than it states on VRBO website. The location was close to everything but not on a super busy street.

There were many shops nearby, access to the Mercat Sant Antoni is very simple. The kitchen was functional, the refrigerator was very clean. the bathroom was clean/functional. My only minor suggestion is to put instructions on the clothes washer/dryer, at least I was able find instructions online. Otherwise, a fantastic stay. Great value.

Tim im so sorry again, i told you to wait in a cafe and you were standing in the street. I swear you this is the first time something like this happens to a guest of us. Unfortunately anywhere in the old town you can get quickly mugged. Hope you had a better time after this issue. Bests.

The kitchen was nicely equiped. The housekeeping was average because the table in the living room wasn't cleaned when we arrived. The bedside tables were very dusty.The apartment was well located although the neighborhood was a bit dodgy. We couldn't find anything other than halal meat.On the other hand, the contacts with our host were very nice and the person who welcomed us was also great and it was really pleasant because we arrived very late.The host was very accommodating regarding departure.

THIS PROPERTY DID NOT FEEL SAFE3 days before check-in, I contacted the owner for instructions. He warned me it was not safe to stand outside the apartment and told me to coordinate with the check-in representative, but initially provided no contact information. After several messages, I finally received the representative's details. He did not respond until the day before check-in and provided the address only hours before arrival.When we arrived, we had difficulty locating the property. While searching, 6/7 men approached us and came uncomfortably close trying to get our purses. A local woman warned us that the area was unsafe. We went into a nearby restaurant and asked the check-in representative to meet us there. Because we had never met him, we requested a photo so we could identify him, but he refused.While waiting, I read a review posted just 7 days before our cancellation deadline in which a guest reported being mugged outside the property. The owner acknowledged the incident in his response but never disclosed it to us.By the time we reached the apartment, my friend was having a panic attack and no longer felt safe staying there. We immediately contacted the owner and VRBO, but no refund or alternative accommodation was offered.We remained in the unit for only 30 minutes while making calls and booking a hotel elsewhere. We did not use the property, yet even the cleaning fee was not refunded.Safety concerns and poor communications make this place unfit.

Siento mucho que no se hayan sentido seguras, pero en cualquier parte de Barcelona pueden andar chicos de mal aspecto. Ahora, ni siquiera entraron al departamento y dejas la peor evaluación? Tampoco les robaron ni les pasó nada.. me cuesta entender, la mayoría de nuestros huéspedes han sido muy felices en su estadía. Lo otro es que ustedes no cancelaron la estadía, dejando bloqueados los días y ahora piden un reembolso completo? me suena a estafa. La comunicación y recepción por nuestro lado fue correcta, lamento que seas muy asustadiza o tengas algún trauma.

Loved the location

The apartment was super simple and just what we needed. We walked (almost) everywhere in the city but when we needed a metro, it was a close 5-7min walk. A great breakfast place just a couple minute walk away and even some pastries right on our street. About a 15 min walk to Las Ramblas. Host was great with communication and check in was simple. Would stay here again.

Small, simple apartment – perfect for a short 1–2 night stay. For this price, it’s really hard to find anything better in Barcelona. It was the cheapest private place I could find, with its own bathroom, small kitchen, and everything needed for a short visit. It’s not a place that impresses with style, but if you’re choosing between a hostel and a private flat, this one is definitely worth it.The location is very good – about 1.3 km from La Rambla and 1.6 km from the Magic Fountain, so almost in the heart of Barcelona. The nearest metro station is around 150 meters away, which makes it easy to get anywhere. The neighborhood is quite mixed and not the cleanest or quietest part of the city, but despite what some reviews say, we never felt unsafe.The host was great – very responsive, helpful, and friendly. Overall, a good and affordable place for a short stay in Barcelona.Highly recommended.Krzysztof

Cozy place

We requested to check-in an hour early and they were willing to make this happen for us. We were able to drop our stuff off while the host finished cleaning. The apartment was small but pleasant, and well-equipped with the things we needed. Both the shower and kitchen are quite small and the bathroom door handle was broken. The bed was squeaky and we were able to hear the neighbors most of the time. Overall, we had a nice stay and were happy with the space.

We stayed here for 3 nights and unfortunately our experience was disappointing. At check-in the app didn’t notify us or allow us to access the host’s messages, and when we contacted the host via WhatsApp, instead of a welcome he was rude and we were told the issue wasn’t he's fault and to wait for the manager, who lived 40 minutes away. We waited outside with our luggage for about an hour. On arrival we were informed there was a water problem in the building, which lasted almost 24 hours. During this time we couldn’t shower, flush the toilet, or wash our hands. The manager kindly left us an 8L bottle of water, which was thoughtful but not a real solution The apartment itself was not clean, the towels had an unpleasant smell, and once the water returned we had to clean the kitchen and utensils ourselves. The cooktop also didn’t work, and by the time the manager provided instructions, the food we had purchased had gone to waste On a positive note, the location was ok and the manager, once present, was polite and tried to help. However, due to the lack of cleanliness, the long water outage, and difficulties with the facilities, this property didn’t meet our expectations. We booked it as an ideal studio for a couple with cooking facilities, but sadly it turned into our least enjoyable stay in Europe. We would not recommend this property.

Reservé este alojamiento el 7 de diciembre. Al momento de hacerlo, la dirección figuraba en otra zona y esa ubicación fue determinante para elegirlo. Recién tres días antes del check-in, el anfitrión, Baltazar, me informó que el barrio no era seguro, dio recomendaciones para moverse de noche y dejó en claro que se trataba de una zona peligrosa. Esta información nunca fue aclarada previamente y se comunicó cuando ya no existía margen para cancelar ni recuperar el dinero.El barrio no es turístico y no es una zona adecuada para hospedarse. Si este dato hubiera estado informado desde el inicio, nadie elegiría quedarse allí.Al llegar, la experiencia fue aún peor. Tuvimos que esperar alrededor de 20 minutos en la calle, con valijas, en un barrio inseguro. Cuando finalmente ingresamos, el departamento estaba en condiciones inaceptables: polvo acumulado, pelos en el baño y restos de comida dentro del horno. Por este motivo, nos vimos obligados a abandonar el alojamiento a las dos horas de haber llegado. Intentamos comunicarnos reiteradas veces con el anfitrión, sin obtener respuesta alguna, ni hacia nosotros ni hacia VRBO. Esta ausencia total demuestra una falta absoluta de responsabilidad y compromiso con los huéspedes y con la propiedad.Luego de cuatro días de reclamos constantes, VRBO finalmente otorgó el reembolso. No solo no recomiendo este alojamiento, si no que ningun otro administrado por el anfitrion.

Ustedes ya venían alegando de antes de entrar. Primero que nada el problema de la ubicación fue de la plataforma y no nuestro. estuve atento a cada una de sus peticiones y consultas. Segundo, a parte de algunas manchas en el horno el departamento estaba impecable y lo comprobamos con fotos. Ustedes estuvieron una noche y dejaros todo sucio! Ningún respeto. Tercero: en cuatro años nunca un huésped a tenido un problema en el barrio. Por último te reembolsamos totalmente y dejas esta reseña maliciosa con información falsa para dañarnos sin motivo! Recomiendo nunca aceptar estos huéspedes en esta ni en ninguna aplicación.
