Still Fantastic!

We stay here every January through early April. Once again we had a great experience. The home is the perfect rental with everything you need and great views of the golf and the mountains from the great room and patio. John and Marni are the best landlords one could hope for - very responsive. The washing machine gave out during our stay, and they had a new LG washer and dryer set there two days later. Can't say enough!

Everything is clean and modern. Location next to La Quinta Old Town is nice. The landlords are the best!

An Oasis in the Desert

From the moment we arrived, we felt immediately at home. The hosts, John and Marni, met us and walked us through their meticulously maintained property. Throughout our stay, they were very responsive to any query, and were obviously very knowledgeable on the local area. This is an extremely spacious and well-appointed home. The large modern kitchen was equipped with all the accessories – they truly thought of everything, including all of the grilling tools for the gas Weber barbecue on the patio. The recliner sectional in the living room provided exceptional seating to enjoy the large flat screen television in the evenings. The deal breaker for any holiday is the ability to leave well rested, which hinges on sleep comfort. The king-sized mattress in the master was amazingly comfortable, as were the pillows – a 10/10!!! The queen-sized mattress in the second bedroom was also very restful. We had no occasion to use the casita, but could definitely envision the flexibility it would provide when hosting guests. The extraordinarily comfortable and private patio is a key feature; from morning coffee to afternoon cocktails, the view did not disappoint. The full-length retractable awning also provided welcomed late-day shade. The full-time owners on each side of the property were very friendly and welcoming. We loved the security of this gated community, and its close proximity to Old Town La Quinta. We thoroughly enjoyed our month in this home, and are already planning for our return trip.

Great Home with Great Views and Great Location

This is a wonderful home. The house is extremely clean and impeccably maintained. The kitchen is modern and highly functional, with stainless appliances and a very handy Keurig. All the kitchen accessories you need are provided, as well as all the grilling tools for the gas Weber on the patio. The dining table is huge and has a lot of open space around it. The great room has a wonderful leather reclining sectional facing a large flat screen TV that is internet-enabled with all the popular apps and has a top-end Sonos sound bar system (which also has speakers in other rooms as well). The views from the great room and the patio are wonderful, overlooking the 3rd hole of the La Quinta Resort Dunes Course (perfectly positioned to watch the approach shots to the green) with close mountain views to the North and West and distant views of the Indio Hills to the Northeast. The retractable awning covers the entire patio and came in very handy for shielding the afternoon sun. The master bedroom is large and the king bed very comfortable, and there is a wall-mounted flat screen TV with Roku for all your popular apps. The master bath is very large with dual sinks, and the walk-in closet is huge. The attached casita was very nice for our guests, giving them (and us) a measure of privacy when needed. The full-time neighbors on each side are wonderful, and the location is quiet and far away from any bothersome road noise. The landlords, John and Marni, couldn’t be any nicer or more responsive to our needs. A very helpful binder is provided with all the instructions we might need. We will be returning to this home our next visit to the desert!

Home away from Home

Our family spent a month in this wonderful home. It is well appointed with everything you need and spotlessly clean - what a pleasure to unpack your bags and feel right at home. This is a very spacious and comfortable home, room for everyone to spread out. Great for working remotely or just hanging out. The beds are new and comfortable and the dining table is fit for a banquet! The reclining sectional and large TV were great for movie nights. The views are great, and the neighbors very friendly and welcoming. We used the community pool and hot tub daily and always had it to ourselves. The owners are very responsive and helpful. We would not hesitate to recommend this home - it really is a special property!

Best rental ever, and wonderful owners!

This is a wonderful home. We have rented in the Coachella Valley for many winters, and by far this is our favorite rental. The house is extremely clean and impeccably maintained. It is not cluttered like many of our past rentals – it has all the essentials and every convenience you could ask for without all the extraneous décor that we usually find ourselves moving to the guest room to get it out of our way and then moving it back before we leave. The kitchen is modern and highly functional, with stainless appliances and a very handy Keurig. All the kitchen accessories you need are provided, as well as all the grilling tools for the gas Weber on the patio. The dining table is huge and has a lot of open space around it. The great room has a wonderful leather reclining sectional facing a large flat screen TV that is internet-enabled with all the popular apps and has a top-end Sonos sound bar system (which also has speakers in other rooms as well). The views from the great room and the patio are wonderful, overlooking the 3rd hole of the La Quinta Resort Dunes Course (perfectly positioned to watch the approach shots to the green) with close mountain views to the North and West and distant views of the Indio Hills to the Northeast. John met us upon check-in with a welcome gift and walked us through the house and explained all the features and technology to us, and he provided a binder with all the instructions we might need. We had a couple of very minor issues arise during our lengthy stay, and John resolved them immediately. He is always reachable by cell phone, text message or e-mail, and responds to any issue within minutes. You couldn’t ask for better landlords. We will be returning to this home next winter, and probably for as many winters as John and Marni will have us!
