HKOK is the best

Great location! Can hear the waves at night. Walk to groceries and restaurants and the beach is right out front. Can watch the whales from the lanai, walk on the beach and soak up the sun. Doesn't get any better than that.

We loved our stay! We had plenty of room for the three of us and spent a lot of time on the balcony watching the ocean. The highlight was watching humpbacks breach!

First time in Maui

Beautiful location steps from the beach and fairly central to everything that we needed. Pull-out not very comfortable, but the master bed was great.

Outdated but Comfy

Clean and comfortable. Usually we can swim right in front of the condo. This stay the shallows and out a ways was Brown Water. Can’t swim in that! No sunsets either. The condo owner can’t control any of this. But in past stays the swimming and sunsets are amazing!

Great location, older inside

This home was located right on the beach with an amazing view. Great for sunset dinner and drinks. The home is older and had an ant and bug problem. The bed was uncomfortable but it didn’t matter because we were so tired from the days adventures. Worth it for the price and location

Perfect Location

Just right -- ocean and sunset views, clean, quiet, not too fancy but has everything you need, and a location that can't be beat -- beach park stretches about a mile in either direction, shopping mall and stores 800 feet in the opposite direction, easy drive to Big Beach. The range was broken when we arrived but the property manager took care of that.

Great Location with a Beautiful View

The complex is in a great location, away from the busy Kihei road, on a very quiet street and easy to get in and out of. The view from the deck is fantastic, and we watched whale and spinner dolphins almost daily. We would see sleeping turtles on the beach. The condo had everything we needed for our 3 week stay, with a well stocked kitchen. But it is time to replace the mattress on the bed, it is somewhat lumpy and uncomfortable. Looking forward to our next stay there.

Gorgeous Maui Condo

Such a beautifully remodeled condo with gorgeous views of the ocean and incredible nightly sunsets. We had to rent beach chairs and an umbrella for the duration of our stay, many of the condos in this complex supply them. That was a minor issue compared to the attributes. I would rent this unit again!!!

Wonderful location and property.

We really enjoyed our stay. The condo was comfortable and the location can’t be beat. Very close to a few restaurants and a grocery store. The view from the balcony was stunning. It was also very quiet, though the building had plenty of guests. To be able to walk right out the back to the beach was great. We also enjoyed the sunsets. Would definitely stay again. The only issue for some might be that the bedroom has a fan but no A/C. The living room and kitchen area stay cool with the window A/C but if you like sleeping cool, this might not work for you. We will definitely try to stay here again.

Great stay. Location and unit are both very convenient to beach and shop. Possible improvement would be to move the coach to the other wall to allow ac unit airflow down the hall. We just moved to coffee table and coach away from wall to accomodate airflow. Unit and ac worked well. We thought the unit had washer/dryer but it "on property". Clean and useful, and the super has change.

Condo With A View!

My husband and I really enjoyed our 10 night stay at the condo, especially because the balcony had the most incredible views of the ocean and beautiful sunsets. We sipped our morning coffee there, enjoyed our daily game of cards there and in the evening really loved the coloured sunsets while sipping our pina colada's. The condo was well equipped with a large kitchen counter which was great and kitchen utensils to assist when we wanted to cook at home. The only down side of our vacation was that a few nights the bedroom was at times too warm and interrupted our sleep, even with the ceiling fan turned on. We recommend installing an air conditioner in the upper bedroom window to make sleeping more comfortable. We enjoyed the property and look forward to visiting and staying there again in the future.

Kihei is not the place to stay

Being ignorant of Maui, I chose this town the way it's between the airport, Wailea-Makena, and Kaanapali. The street on which the condo sits is fine, but the perpendicular on one the east side is a homeless thoroughfare from the grocery store around the corner and beyond, on down to the beach. The view from the unit is lovely but inside some things are updated while others need updating. Despite not using, the kitchen, it was well-stocked. Downsides - the a/c unit is oceanside and inefficient and insufficient. It is a long way from the bedroom so could hardly sleep the first night due to the bedroom being really warm because the a/c didn't cool it.. By the second night it was bearable. I awoke really early the second morning and went for a run on the beach, only to be accosted by a homeless man that was probably on crack as he acted like he owned the beach and punched me in the head, knocking me down into the water. Thus, I couldn't ever stay there again. Kihei has a major homeless problem...

6 night stay

This is an amazing location, and in a quiet area just outside of the main Kehei area. Only issue was checking in. The property emailed the checkin instructions and did not send through the messaging in VRBO. The email went to the junk folder. For 30-40 minutes we tried knocking on the office desk door, using the hardline phone, calling the business number, using the VRBO message system. Finally we called the emergency number and had our door code in a matter of minutes. This property has amazing beach access. The beach itself is sandy with gentle waves even with the afternoon breeze. We found turtles just 10's of meters of the shore near larger exposed rocks. Individuals who need AC may not enjoy this unit. There is a window unit AC in the sitting/livingroom area, but it struggled to cool the bedroom area. There was a swamp type cooler/fan also in the room, but the water pump was inoperable and wouldn't pump water onto the evaporative pad. We were comfortable sleeping with the windows open with the outside temps in the low-mid 60's. We would definitely stay here again.

Awesome location

We stayed for 11 nights. Great location, second story close to stairs, great for whale watching from Lanai, and great ocean view. Outside complex is very well kept with neat and tidy grounds. Trees provide nice shade for relaxing outside on lounge cjhairs provided. Interior Condo is dated but very clean and comfortable and quiet. Simple instruction posted in unit on how to communicate with property manager w/b helpfull. Stove oven was not working and because older stove, repairs had to be ordered from mainland and was not rectified while we were there. Bed is quite soft, and one of us did not enjoy the sleep. Beach chairs are old and tattered- time to replace. Plates and cuttlery was sufficient for the two of us, but for four w/b inadequate, or barely adequate. You enter the unit thru the bdrm and there is no door to interior for privacy from kitchen/lvgrm which is ok for two or with younger kids. We had no concerns with A/C, however evenings were 65, and with the patio door slightly open and the bdrm door window slightly open, it was comfortable. previous complaints noted and the a/c is blowing right on end of sofa and restricting airflow. I could see in summer months that could be a problem. Overall, as a couple, we would rent again as the pros far outweight the cons.
