Beautiful home!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Everything was very clean, well kept and even better than the pictures. It’s a very peaceful setting surrounded by woods and we saw a white squirrel behind the house. Nice little touches like snacks and extra toiletries! We would definitely stay here again!

Qaint, quiet and convenient

Loved our stay at the Carriage House! Lisa was the "hostess with the mostest"! From the coffee, yummy cinnamon rolls and eggs to the little toiletry extras in the bathroom- she has you covered! The area around the home makes for a peaceful retreat. Out of the city, but conveniently close. You will not be disappointed!

Great property! Super clean and very quiet and beautiful setting. Extras were super nice!

Brought my boyfriend here for his birthday weekend on a surprise trip and we absolutely loved this property! Lisa was in touch and easy to contact and she left us some milk, eggs, water, and cinnamon rolls in the fridge and some bananas and snacks on the table. She also has extra toiletries just in case you forget something. The place was super clean and comfy and perfect for a romantic weekend getawat for the two of us. We went hiking at chimney rock and checked out a yummy local restaurant Lisa had in a booklet she left us with local things to do and places to eat. We also went into downtown Asheville for a romantic dinner and dessert. We had a great time and will definitely be staying here again sometime!

Great choice for Asheville area!

We stayed in the carriage house for a couple days and found it to be perfect! A short 20-25 minute to downtown Asheville via beautiful back roads. It was super clean and a perfect size for a romantic getaway. Lisa was so thoughtful and left some breakfast items in the fridge (eggs, milk, cinnamon rolls) and a nice basket of goodies on the table. There was even coffee/filters in the cabinet. The little things make a huge difference. My wife and I have stayed in a lot of VRBO rentals, and can tell when the owner(s) go the extra mile. We found the bed was pretty comfortable and the small (full) kitchen area and bath were nicely updated and appointed. We loved the place and relative to what else is in the area, thought the price was very reasonable. The small town of Fletcher is pretty close and has a bunch of stuff - there’s an Igles for grocery, Starbucks, Target/Wal-Mart is close, etc. I would definitely stay here again, it was just a really nice set up.

Quiet country

We loved our stay in the quiet country, but we were also within 15 minutes from most of the attractions of Asheville. Lovely apartment with all amenities we needed.

Beyond expectations

This location was convenient, excellent parking, quiet, accessible at all times. The host added items that made our stay sweet. The place was roomy and comfortable with style. A wonderful place to come home to after a busy day of events. He best I can say, We would come back!

Quiet Retreat

Lisa and Dennis were great! We really enjoyed our time in the area. Lisa was great- we almost left some belongings, but had not gotten out of the area before she contacted me and we were able to retrieve things! That is service beyond expectation and was greatly appreciated! Excellent value for us!

Great getaway in a quiet neighborhood

I did a mother/daughter getaway with my preteen, and it was perfect for what we wanted. The cottage is just beside the bigger house, and is in a very quiet upscale neighborhood. Everything was very clean and nice. Loved the little touches…they provided snacks in a basket on the table and eggs, cream, and biscuits in the fridge. It was very quiet, which was just what we needed, and the little town of Fletcher had some really great options for eating out. We enjoyed the antique shops, a toy store, and thrift shopping. Loved the nooks and crannies in the house! If you have a smaller kid, they will love sleeping on the mattress in the nook adjoining the bedroom. Nice people, lovely place, would recommend to anyone!

Easy Overnight

Thanks to Lisa, we had an easy stop in Fletcher on our way to the beach. Lisa made sure everything was ready for a good night's rest and thought of all the details, comfortable bed, snacks, eggs and biscuits in the fridge for the next morning, and extra Spiderman sheets for our little one! Thank you for hosting our family with lovely Asheville hospitality.

Excellent stay

Lisa was an amazing hostess, working with us to reschedule when our kids got sick the weekend of the trip. We couldn’t thank her enough. When we arrived, the suite was clean and there were a few snacks and waters in the fridge. How thoughtful! Thank you so much for the wonderful stay. We would definitely come again.

So nice

We locked our keys in the moving truck and it was a nightmare but Lisa and her family were really accommodating. They left us with everything we needed. They came in and cleaned up when we were out. The pictures are accurate, this place is stunning!

This was the type of place that makes you realize a rating of just 5 stars is inadequate. From the location to the prompt replies, Lisa’s Carriage House exceeded all expectations I had. I’d highly recommend staying here for anyone looking to visit Asheville, Hendersonville or anywhere else nearby.

Amazing location! Situated in the heart of Cane Creek Valley with lots of beautiful roads that beat the local traffic to be at groceries, breweries, YMCA , hiking and golf all nearby. Enjoy the local cheese/ice cream shop and farm stand just about a mile down the road.

The property is located in a beautiful setting. You feel like you're in the country but you will be centrally located to all the area has to offer in Asheville, Mills River and Hendersonville.
