The local shop is only ¼ mile away, ideal if you need to stock up on essentials. If you fancy a trip to St Ives jump on the train for the 3-minute ride! There is so much to do here such as visiting Barbara Hepworth Museum and Sculpture gardens, The Tate Gallery, practising your pottery skills at the Bernard Leach Pottery or wander around the art galleries.

For the nature lovers, why not take a boat trip to watch seals and other wildlife, or just wander around the town which is full of shops, restaurants, and pubs. There are plenty of coastal walks, you can walk to St Ives which is easy and then either catch the train back or get on the hop on, hop off, open top tour bus and admire the countryside from an elevated position. The nearest town is Penzance, where you will find remnants of pirates in the local pubs, lovely gardens to walk through and an array of shops and restaurants, cobbled streets, and art galleries. Nearby is the picturesque market town of Marazion, home to St Michaels Mount, at low tide you can walk across the causeway and explore this treasure or enjoy the huge expanse of sandy beach and rock pools.
