The house was very nice and the check in process was very easy. I submitted a request to fix one of the toilets that would not flush and never got a response. It is very dark at night more lightning is needed in the patking area. Otherwise very nice property.

House was amazing! Everything was clean, functional. I was able to communicate with the owners easily. The pool was the perfect spot and honestly where we spent most of our time! The house was a great choice and will definitely keep it in mind for the future!

Fun in Folly

Accurately described, well maintained, close to beach, and restaurants. Good place for a group or large families. Elevator was an added perk for handicapped and moving luggage in and out. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful space, perfect place!

We loved our stay! The horn was perfect for our family! Our kids loved the swimming pool and close proximity to the ocean! There were also tons of toys for the beach and pool. We had plenty of room for our cars! The elevator was a nice bonus for our in-laws! We would stay here every time we visit if we could!

Wanted to stay longer…

Beautiful, spacious home steps from the beach. Plenty of amenities. The pool alone was worth the price of admission! I loved the location away from Center but not too far…I was even appreciative of the property entrance from the less travelled E Cooper Ave.

Wonderful beach house!

We enjoyed our time at the beach house. Plenty of rooms and bathrooms. The screened in porch was wonderful, especially while it was raining. The pool was too cold to swim despite the 80 degree weather we had. Overall we had a great time!

Very comfortable house

We loved the house, it was very comfortable. We were disappointed to learn that the pool is not heated. We made sure to rent a home with a pool and it was too cold to use. The property management company was so wonderful. They are so responsive, and professional which made things much smoother. This house is huge, with so many great outdoor decks/spaces and is so close to the beach and downtown Folly.

Outdated

The cleaning crew needs to be replaced . The place was not very clean and moldy food on outside. Ceiling fan wasn’t working and several lightbulbs were out. When grabbing dishes they needed to be washed first before use. Just a little disappointing since we paid a lot to rent this place and expected something better .

The location of the house was great, but the rest of the experience was subpar at best. First, I had to call the property manager through their after-hours line because, while they provided the code to one of the doors to get in, they neglected to provide the code to another door you had to get through first. We stood outside for about 20 minutes getting bitten by mosquitoes before we could get in with both codes. Additionally, after arriving in the house, there was a large painting that was just sitting on the floor in the main walkway (see picture). Second, the upkeep on the house was disappointingly poor for the price. A lot of the window blinds were in poor condition, the screened-in porch had holes, furniture and carpets were stained, and one of the fans had exposed wiring. We had to call the property manager again because the propane tank for the grill was empty, but unfortunately, even after getting a new one, the grill would not start. Additionally, the one outlet in the cabana by the pool was out, so we could not turn on the fan, lights, or plug in any electronics. Even further, there is little care up front to keep the house neat for guests. Dishes and kitchenware were just piled randomly in drawers and cabinets. Groceries from previous guests were left behind, including alcohol.Overall, the great location cannot overcome the poor condition of the house, and I cannot recommend staying here for the price. There are better options on Folly Beach for 1k/night.

Comfortable Home

Our extended family of 8 stayed at this beautiful house for Thanksgiving week. The house itself was so comfortable and roomy. We had plenty of room to spread out and the room configuration was perfect. The decor was beautiful, we all admired it throughout our stay. The house was well stocked and had everything we needed for our stay. A few things listed below could be improved with the house itself and the website description and instructions from property management. 1. We arrived after dark and used our GPS to find the address. We ended up at the front door of the house wandering around through two front yards to figure out which house we rented and how to gain access. When we realized you access from the street behind the house we were still scrambling in the dark to get in. Later we found directions on our rental paperwork to access it from the back street. As most people use GPS to find locations it would be a great help to make it clear that access is from a different street entirely. I know not every guest arrives in the dark but some outdoor lighting and better address marking would make a huge difference. 2. The coffee maker was on the fritz, just a minor thing. 3. This being a beach house and everyone using towels daily and wet bathing suits a more hooks around the rooms/bathrooms would be awesome. We ended up draping wet items over furniture, which isn't ideal for the furniture itself. 4. We were so disappointed that the pool was too cold to use. While I realized we we're visiting in November we assumed (our fault) that since it was not winterized/closed that it would be heated. We never read on anything that it would not be heated and unusable during our stay. We were really looking forward to having spending some time by the pool. Overall this was a wonderful stay and we would definitely return!

Just one word- awesome!

A pool, an elevator, screened in porches, a new outside shower, a very short walk to the beach and so many other things about this property that made it an awesome place to stay for our vacation! Folly beach was beautiful. What a great little beach town and so close to Charleston. Our first visit here and we definitely plan on returning.

Great Escape to Folly Beach!

If you’re looking for a house close to the beach, in a quiet part of Folly, which is well appointed with lots of space for 8, this is your place. Great pool and outdoor dining areas, lots of parking, totally equipped kitchen and an even an elevator to help with getting suitcases to the 3rd floor. Quality built home which we plan to return to in the future. Only downer was the Spring pollen/leaf droppings from the huge oak that covers the pool area, but that’s nature at work.

Fun House for Big Group

We had a great time at this house on Folly. Great location, awesome house for large groups, lots of parking, house was well-stocked. The elevator was so helpful for getting all of our luggage up to the main floors! The cleaning job could have been better: there was dust build-up in some areas, some dirt/trash left on carpets, and some of the furniture had stains. The screened-in porches were a bit of a let down; they were not very clean and did not have much furniture, so we didn’t get to enjoy the outdoor space. I wish we had been there when it was warm enough for the beach - this would be an excellent rental for a summer beach trip!

We enjoyed every minute.... We were disappointed about the heat being on until our last day. Saturday night we were so uncomfortable with it being 78 in the house with the windows open. We are thankful we cooked outside.

Great house and easy beach access

This is a great house and location. The pool is nice. The master bedroom is on the first floor and if there are kids in the room above you, prepare to hear every noise through the ceiling. Ice maker and jetted tub didn’t work. Check in instructions were confusing, two different codes to get in the house. I figured it out but in the check in email the code/pin should be in bold large font.

Nice place, but loud road

We really enjoyed our stay and thought the home really fit our family's needs. It was an easy walk to the beach and overall very convenient. We loved the idea of hanging out on the screened in porches, but they overlook a very busy road with lots of road noise. Really wished there was better outdoor seating too.

Relaxing house, perfect for large families

We really enjoyed our stay and we thought that the house was even better than what the pictures represented. The elevator was a huge help for our elderly parents. The mgmt co was very responsive to needs. Couple of small suggestions to management: 1) check smoke detectors for batteries 2) mattresses need updating,
