Siéntese en el gran porche cubierto y disfrute viendo gansos y patos mientras asa y se relaja. Gran patio plano para estacionar botes y autos. Fácil acceso a 2 rampas para botes gratuitas dentro de unas pocas millas de la casa (Buddle Creek en Holloway Church Road y Acceso al Área de Recreación de Vida Silvestre para el gran lago); High Rock Lake Marina cerca de gas y suministros está abierto todo el año. Alquiler de pontones disponibles en el puerto deportivo de mayo a septiembre. (mol). Muelle 3 embarcaciones. Excelente barbacoa a solo 2 millas. Compras y restaurantes cerca en Lexington. Kayak, canoa, pescado, tabla de paddle, esquí, moto acuática, pontón y simplemente disfrute del lago. Recorrido por viñedos y cervecerías.

Lovely view of the lake. Complete instructions for everything in the house. Easy access. Clean, well furnished, plenty of household items, laundry facilities and very quiet neighborhood. Neighbors were friendly. We enjoyed our time.

The cozy cottage was very neat and clean. The view of the lake was wonderful from inside and from the big and roomy back deck. It was peaceful and quiet and the perfect place to relax.

We enjoyed this house very much. I grew up in Lexington and this place was 5 miles from my dad/mother. Very convenient to thier place and shopping. We had two very nice meals…steak k e night and then we fried a turkey. Went fishing and caught fish as well. We Will definitely be visiting again.

This was the BEST place that we have rented in North Carolina. The main reason for our trip was to hopefully find a new home in the surrounding areas. From the moment we arrived and went inside we knew this was truly going to be the perfect place to come home to each day. First let me say that the house is not lacking in any area. From having a great selection of dinnerware, cooking items such as pots and pans and frying pans and baking dishes, serving platters and bowls, dishware ,I can go on and on. Plenty of towels and bath items. The view from the expansive back deck is literally mind blowing whether you are sitting out there in the morning with your first cup of coffee and all of a sudden the sky starts dancing with magnificent colors from the sunrise or in the evening when the sun starts setting. The location of the house is only a few minutes away from the local food markets and stores and it’s only a short drive to downtown. This was the most enjoyable yet relaxed vacation we have had in a while. I have to say that we did accomplish our goal of finding a new home while we were there, and even though Castway Cottage isn’t that far away from our future home we plan on going back for a recharge kind of vacation when we need it. Loved the cozy cottage and its ease of access to the lake! Also, I really loved that we could take our two fur babies with us to enjoy the getaway.
