Best VRBO experience we have ever had

We’ve stayed in VRBO properties for a decade now, and everyone agreed this was the best one ever! It was beautiful and super clean. The neighborhood was absolutely perfect for what we needed (fun walking around, wandering, eating, shopping, relaxing). The parking situation was simple and straightforward. And beyond all that, the communication with property owner/management was GREAT. They were timely, super efficient, and gave me all the info I needed without over communicating.

The best VRBO ever!!

We were immediately impressed as we entered this home. Everything was clean and cozy, and comfortable. So many thoughtful details that made our stay very enjoyable! The host was very responsive and helpful. And the views are breathtaking!! Wevwill definitely be back!!

Beautiful Inside and Out

This place has a fantastic view of miami and the harbor on the outside and great art (with a funky/good-looking decor) to view on the inside. We also enjoyed the lovely pool and the small gym during our stay.

Weekend wedding in the Grove

We really enjoyed the property. It was just as described. The only issue had to do with the driveway to the building. There was always a lot of traffic and we got blocked in at one point and they couldn’t find the driver of the vehicle that was blocking.

The condo is great and the location super!!!!

We so enjoyed our time at the Sonesta. I have never stayed at any other rental with so many amenities. There were towels, dishwashing supplies, detergent etc. Unfortunately, the roof was being repaired while we were there and that hampered what would have been an incredible view, but the owner made it right by discounting our rate. I would highly recommend this unit and just wish we had done this before when we have visited Miami.

AMAZING!!

I loved coming home here. It was just the best feeling ever. Waiting for the elevator took some time though. I wish we attempted to take the stairs. 22 flights would have been an experience. Loved the balcony. If you need a dope area for photo and/or photoshoots, up there at midday is the spot. The master bedroom is amazing. Bed is comfortable and the windows are ceiling high. Waking up to this Miami sun was the best thing ever!

Expensive noise, inattentive management

Decor ok, but in a penthouse peace and quiet is what you look for. The ac unit in the master bedroom sounded like a jet engine and there was nonstop three day drilling next door that did not allow peace. When I complained I was offered a discount on a future stay that will never come to pass. Why pay again to be disregarded and inconvenienced?

Beautiful Inside and Out!

The Sonesta condo is spacious, smartly laid-out and with a vibrant Floridian vibe. The owner, Daniela, has wonderful taste and has given it her professional design style adding color and local artwork along with eclectic details that immediately tell you that you are in a special place. It is just as it appears in the pictures and the views and location are the best in Coconut Grove! We walked out of our space to go running, biking, shopping and to a great array of restaurants. Having two separate guest suites opposite the living area gave a sense of privacy. The bedrooms and the living area have floor to ceiling windows and doorways out to the balcony which overlooks the boat-filled bay. There is a roof-top deck where you can enjoy even more views. With this rental you receive free parking, great work-out room and more importantly a fabulous pool area with not only the best views imaginable, but great food, cocktails and exceptional service. You could not expect more professional customer service than what we received from Daniela, Ramone and Amy....wonderful hosts who truly care that your experience is everything your wanted. You won't be disappointed.

Lovely, charming home

My two teenage children and I just stayed for an extended weekend. The penthouse is a charming space, decorated with playful colors and creativity. The layout of the space if wonderful. The glass doors separating the twin bedroom from the living room allow in more light and views and then the sliding shades are great separators at night. Daniela has given the space a decorators touch and Lorelei is incredibly responsive. The house WiFi was a great help. I read in another review that Sonesta's wifi kept taking over but if you are on apple products you can make the apartment WiFi a priority so it stopped happening to us. I loved that there was a speaker system to wirelessly hook up music while I was there. Every home rental should have one of those today. I had two small issues while there and Lorelei responded immediately and took care of them for us. She was incredibly responsive which I think is huge in a home away rental. The only recommendation I would make is the kitchen dishes/utensils/pots&pans are getting some wear and tear and could be replaced soon. If you plan on doing a lot of cooking it's a little hard but for quick breakfasts and lunches it's totally fine.

Bright, Colorful, Jewel Box in Coconut Grove!

We recently spent 7 nights over Christmas vacation in this rental. We loved it for the following reasons: (1) the decor is lively and fun, (2) the location is convenient for restaurants and shops (and our regatta), (3) the layout is perfect for a family of four (the 2.5 bathrooms were really nice with teenagers), (4) the view from the upper level deck is spectacular, (5) Lorelei is organized and communicated well. The only possible negative is that the property has changed hands from the Sonesta to the Hotel Aria (Best Western). There were only two functioning guest elevators (for a 22 story building) for our entire stay. When we mentioned this to the front desk, there seemed to be absolutely no urgency to get it fixed. My guess is that the property has gone a little down-market. There is nothing that the owner of the property can do about this situation. All this being said, I would rent this condo again in a minute! We loved it.

Gorgeous! Amazing Location!

Absolutely amazing! The views, the rooms all of it! I love it! Great walking distance to lots of restaurants, bars, and great shopping! The hotel itself was just beautiful and the staff was super nice! I’m only giving it 4 stars because the plumbing was a little weak. The condo itself is a little dated but in a good way! It’s super cute.

Breathtaking Views!! Lovely Penthouse in Prime Location!

Luxury penthouse in prime location of Coconut Grove. We were in town moving our daughter to the University of Miami...was perfect for our family! The views were amazing and the penthouse was pristine, spacious and very quiet. Exceptional service from the host and staff at Sonesta. Parking is wonderful and provides easy access to the apartment. Perfection!

If you are looking for a beautiful space with gorgeous multi-directional views, and has a great location; this is the property for you! Firstly, the host provided all the information we needed prior to our stay and check-in was a breeze. The unit itself is decorated beautifully, clean, and extremely spacious. All the beds were comfortable and there was not one thing that we needed that was not provided (linens, towels, kitchen items, etc.). The host was just a phone call way, even though there were no issues that we had to contact them for. Second, the views from the balcony and the rooftop terrace are really just stunning. The unit is on the corner, so you get bay views as well as city views! The pool is located on the 8th floor, so the views were great. The pool was large and there was plenty of room to relax and sunbathe. The staff was also very accommodating. Lastly, the unit is located right in the middle of Coconut Grove and there are lots of restaurants and shopping in walking distance. The restaurants in the area are a little pricey, but that common for the area. My family and I had a wonderful time and would definitely stay here again in the future.

An amazing oasis in the heart of Coconut Grove.

PH5 was a perfect fit for our family. The apartment was spacious for our three teenage girls while still giving my husband and me plenty of room. The views and deck were spectacular and the pool on the 8th floor was a wonderful reprieve from the hustle and bustle below. The property is within walking distance to plenty of restaurants and shops. We will definitely return! Lorelei was fantastic and responded to any questions within moments.

Our best VRBO state ever! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay PH Dash five this weekend in beautiful Coconut Grove! It is truly our best VRBO experience ever! The location is fabulous, this two bedroom Sweet is a deal and has all the ministries of a five-star hotel! Thank you and we will be back!

It is a hidden gem with so many great restaurants and shops in a walkable neighborhood yet close to all of the other wonderful things Miami has to offer! I love to travel and meeting and talking to people. MIA Luxe Properties was created to help other owners manage their homes.
