Good location

Friendly and informative greeting by host. A good location for sightseeing in this area. Great for dog walks direct from the door. Would definitely visit again.

Exceeded our expectations

The cottage and its garden was wonderful. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Secluded and dog friendly garden. Diane was a lovely host who was on hand if ever we needed anything. Highly recommend.

Peaceful and comfortable

Very quiet, comfortable and peaceful location / accommodation. A great place to unwind and explore the beauty of the Norfolk broads and beaches. WiFi a tad erratic at times.

Last minute short break

Had a wonderful few days at Martins Nest. Was an ideal place for just us two & our dog, had everything we needed & was in walking distance to the village & the beach. Diane the owner was very helpful & was just next door if we needed anything. Would definitely return

A relaxing break at Martin’s nest

We had a wonderful stay at Martins nest We were greeted on arrival by Diane the owner who informed us about the cottage and garden and showed us around very welcoming lovely lady There was everything you needed to start your stay including milk and some delicious brownies which were very welcome The cottage is beautifully presented and has a comfortable bed and all home comforts Located well for a walk to the beach and a private garden to relax in which we did thank you for a restful visit see you next year!

Tranquil comfortable stay in a lovely location

Martin's Nest worked very well for the two of us plus our Golden Retriever. The studio is very well equipped and we did not find anything we needed missing. Diane was her usual exemplary host. This was our first time in Martin's Nest after staying in the neighbouring White House (which is truly lovely). The orientation of the studio in terms of sunlight was excellent, some early morning and then lovely later afternoon into the evening - this helped with the heatwave and direct sunlight. It is easy to get a breeze flowing through the studio too if required. It is worth noting that the studio no longer has a sofa bed if people have stayed before and miss the change in the description. We didn't find the new sofa very comfortable to use for long periods, but that did not detract from the holiday. I have no doubt that we will be back to stay in Martin's Nest again.

Lovely and peaceful stay.

Firstly, great communication with Diane ( the owner ) even before our stay. Diane was also there to greet us and waved good bye when we left this beautiful place. If you want a nice peaceful place to stay with privacy, Martin's Nest is perfect! We loved it here, it's so peaceful, quiet and the grounds are outstanding. Our dog loved having it's own private enclosed garden especially with the french windows opening out towards the patio and grassed area. We'll definitely be back here sometime in the near future. Thank you Diane for your hospitality and a great four days break in Martin's Nest.
