Beautiful home with a gorgeous view of the river and walk in access for floating or nice fire pit area and swing for sitting by the river and just relaxing. The host was so welcoming and made our stay so comfortable. All the small details like Fiji waters on the nightstand along with chocolates on the pillows and snacks on the kitchen counter made the home so comfortable. The house is very well appointed with all the creature comforts and is very clean and well-maintained. We had a great time and will definitely be back!!

Our family had such a great time! We stayed for the weekend and wished it could’ve been longer! Very clean and well kept home. Comfy beds with plenty of bedding. The kids enjoyed all the recreational supplies available too, and of course the gorgeous outdoors! Thank you for such a lovely home!

Very relaxing vacation..property is updated and very beautiful. Spacious yard and great river location for tubing and kayaking and fishing. Wonderful property for a relaxing river vacation. Properr is very clean. Lots of bedding and towels. Also really great patio that has comfortable seating and beautiful river view. The firepit next to river was such a hem . My family used it at night to tell stories amd eat smores. Wondersul stay. Cant say enoigh. Would definitely book aagin!

Book it!!! This water front property would be hard to beat! The location on the river is perfect and the flat entrance to the water provides easy access to the river and the flat land allows for a comfortable place to sit in your chair and relax. Perfect for folks with kiddos! The house was well stocked and an added plus was the host reached out to ensure we had everything we needed. We will be back! :)

Amazing location & home

We had an amazing stay here! The river in front of the house felt very private and was so easy to put tubes in the float down the river. A quick 15 minute walk back after the float! (They are expanding the pedestrian walking between the horseshoe so there is construction but it didn’t interfere much and we did it with 5 kids. Brandon checked in with us to make sure we had everything we needed and the house was absolutely perfect. The kids loved playing basketball and playing baseball in the back. Couldn’t have hoped for a better stay and can’t wait to come back!

Great house and location

Clean house, super attentive host, beautiful yard and river area. Our group of 10, ages 9-43, loved our stay in this house. You can float the horseshoe section of the river easily. You can fish and hang out in the river right at the house. Close to many activities.

Great Rental Stay

Our family and friends enjoyed our stay. Property accommodated 7 of us easily including sleeping, bathing, and sharing meals. Great property and great location. We floated the horseshoe right from the property, rented a pontoon boat and went tubing on Canyon Lake, ate at the Grist Mill and listened to music at Gruene Hall, several fire pit and snores right next to the river at night, and so on.

The best property on River

Our family had a wonderful time! Cleanest, well maintained property we have ever experienced with VRBO. Perfect for walking down to the river and just sitting or float the Horseshoe of the river from house, just have to make a plan to get back to property.(A couple of us walked back to home then took a truck to pick up kids and floats). Quiet neighborhood and polite host! Thank you for sharing your home with others! Definitely want to return soon!!

Beautiful property and peaceful experience

House was perfect. The property was absolutely stunning, yard sloped perfectly into the river versus the other houses we looked at that had cliffs. Fishing was awesome, tons of trout. Tubes and inflatable paddleboards and kayaks in shed that were easy to get. Plenty of ice in the house for drinks which is essential lol. Brandon was an amazing host was very responsive to our needs. The check in process was super easy. Would love to come back. Was a very peaceful stay. Thanks again :)

Second Time Staying at This Second to None Property

We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect place to spend our Easter holiday than Whitewater Ranch Retreat-we fished, kayaked, paddle boarded, swam, relaxed, walked to Whitewater Amphitheater to see a concert, cooked, had an Easter egg hunt and made lots of forever memories at this beautifully comfortable home. The location, owners and accommodations are all wonderful. Thank you for sharing your special space!

Retreat is the perfect name!

My family spent 3 nights at Whitewater Ranch Retreat, and it was a perfect long weekend! The property owner is super nice and accommodating. The house is gorgeous and spacious with a beautiful view of the river. The beds are very comfortable. The water is cold, but very clear, and it didn't deter us from getting in, at least partially. It's easy to get in and float, there's a great two hour float right from the yard. We hope to go again next year! I highly recommend!!

Spring Break Getaway

My Family and I spent Spring Break at Whitewater Ranch Retreat. The property is a dream with a massive back yard right on the river. The property comes with paddle boards, kayaks, fishing equipment, and lawn games. My kids enjoyed every moment and are already asking to return. We will definitely return.

Better than expected!

The overall house was very clean, had all the basics and more. The deck is nice and big and we loved the large swing seat. I came with small children who absolutely loved the bunk bed setup. The gradual slope in the backyard to the water behind the house was a huge selling feature for us and the shallowness of the creek. Both were so enjoyable even with small kids and the landscape was beautiful. Overall a great experience.

Perfect family spring break trip!

Great and clean accommodations, had everything we needed. It was a perfect stay for our family! We had kids, all the way up to Grandparents. Having the additional water toys was wonderful because we didn’t have to pack ours. We had great weather and were able to spend a lot of time on the water. Great yard and deck to accommodate yard games and morning coffee!

Wonderful Place

This place is absolutly wonderful. Great location to the river, places to eat and things to do. The house was spotless, very cozy, really comfortable. They have everything you need. They have little extras that many other places don't have or do. We will definitely be back. We saved this place as a top area fav.

Special Place

We booked this property to celebrate my son’s 14th birthday by fly fishing on the Guadalupe. This home has a beautiful spot right on the river and has a warm and joyful feel inside and out. There is plenty of space, the beds are comfortable and the area is super peaceful and quiet. There was a herd of deer that would come each night to eat acorns and they were beautiful to watch as well. What a special place!

Perfect get away!

Everything about this trip was awesome! This was a family trip for a family of 5, all adults. We drove up to a well manicured lawn. Walked into a cool house, lights on, with music playing and chocolates on our beds! The location to nearby floating, distance to the water and fire pit area did not disappoint. The host response time was terrific! Definitely recommend!

Fabulous River House

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the River house! Easy access to the River and just a 10 minute drive to Canyon Lake. All the kids, ages 9-17, had a blast playing basketball out front and floating the river. Communication was great! We’ll definitely book again in the future!

Amazing!

It was our second time staying at the house and it was amazing! The house is well stocked, beautifully decorated and incredibly family friendly. The owners have gone above and beyond to create an unforgettable experience for guests and our family. 10/10 recommend this home!

The unique benefit of renting Whitewater Ranch Retreat is that you can float the Horseshoe float at Whitewater from your own backyard and then just walk right back to house when done. No need to shuttle people or pay expensive prices for tubes and transportation back and forth. You can also forget all the crazy traffic when going to see a concert at Whitewater Amphitheater. Just grab a cold beer and the walk is only about 12 minutes. No drinking and driving needed!!!! Staying at Whitewater Ranch Retreat is a whole lot cheaper than a DWI!! We also have water access that is like a beach. Our property rolls into the river and make hanging out on the banks very simple and hassle free.
