Beautiful Oceanfront Condo Royal Garden 412

This one bedroom condo located in the 16 story Royal Garden Resort high rise has all the amenities of home. Washer/Dryer, dishwasher, and full size kitchen. Guests of the Royal Garden Resort enjoy the outdoor and indoor swimming pool and hot tub. Linens are included with the reservation.

Come Relax on your large private oceanfront balcony with unobstructed views of the ocean. Enjoy the resort amenities, which include 2 pools (indoor and outdoor), hot tub and outdoor kiddie pool, and cornhole. We have an onsite family friendly beach bar and grill that offers a variety of special drinks and food.
Check-in is onsite for easy and fast convenience. We can provide contact-less check-in if requested.
You are allotted two parking spaces to park in the onsite parking garage. The parking garage clearance is 6’ 8”. There are a few oversized parking spaces based on availability. Guest cannot have golf carts in the parking garage however, there is parking in front of the garage based on availability.
This beautiful condo is 5 miles from the family friendly Murrells Inlet Marsh walk, close to jet ski and banana boat rentals, fishing, and many more attractions and restaurants.

The kitchenware was rusty and not clean. Found leftover food in pans. We actually do cook when we are on vacation. We felt like we had to rewash everything we used in the dishes. The entrance view was the roof. We have never been assigned to this terrible view before after all these years of staying here.

Love the location but not the condo condition

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The experience was amazing. Just going down to the ground level and stepping off 3 steps and you are on the beach. The condition of the condo is another story. I had many things wrong with it and had to wait from Saturday to Monday to get things corrected. I had many light bulbs out (not a big deal) the TV in the main bedroom did not work, the laundry room and bathroom in hall were both missing ceiling tiles, the living room had a hurricane lamp that was busted up and just unplugged, then at night when i went to close the blinds in the living room they were missing a bunch of slats. So, anyone on their balconies could see right into my condo, so i had no privacy. I called on Monday and got all the bulbs fixed exept on lamp they could not get to work in the main bedroom. He was able to fix all but two slats on the blinds, so still had a few peek holes. Then on Tuesday they came back to fix the ceiling tile in the bathroom the never did fix the one in the laundry closet. When i spoke to the Manager to get a little compensation for the issues he said none of these issues warrants any money returned. I paid 2100.00 to rent this out and was by myself. I think i should have received a little compensation. I don't understand how this many things wrong were not picked up by the cleaning staff and reported to be corrected before the next arrival was to show up. I guess i got it ready for the next guests.

The blinds were broken and parts fell off every time you tried to open them. The garbage disposal was so loud we tried not to use it. The underlying stench of old cigarettes was overwhelming when we entered the apartment.( we don’t smoke and the apartment was supposed to be smoke free) . Everything was so old that you felt dirty just touching it. The carpet was stained . I never felt comfortable the 6 days we were there.. The bathrooms appeared to be clean. The bed linens were clean and didn’t smell. This was the only reason we decided not to complain. My wife woke up with itchy eyes and sneezing. Probably due to the cigarette smoke in soft surfaces. We didn’t complain because I thought my wife had forgotten to ask for nonsmoking room. It wasn’t until midweek we noticed the no smoking sign on the door. I would never stay in tha room again.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: There was so much humidity in the unit that there was standing water on the floor in one of the bathrooms. We were surprised that we did not see mold. When we inquired about this, the property management told us there was no leak, but the owner had not installed a dehumidifier. The AC was fixed at a certain temperature and could not be lowered. I would not recommend anyone to rent this particular unit. We would have left early if we could have found another place to stay.

Worst room ever !

Reviewer Comments: I stayed here in 2014 it was an updated room the rest of the place was a bit dated, we decided that we were going to buy a place in Myrtle Beach so I booked a room for two nights at the Royal garden as we were going to look at one of the condos for sale to buy they charge us almost $500 for two nights, as soon as you open the door to the room it was like hitting a wall of cigarette smoke, the room was dated which is not a big deal. This is a little bit more important. To my surprise the rest of the hotel was exactly the same way when we saw it and 2014 run down in dated with very little amenities they need to paint the fish wall it is absolutely horrible. They did do a nice job with the pavers around the pool that is all I can see that has been done since we were there last. Needless to say we are not buying a condo at Royal Gardens nor would I ever stay there again. The air vent was covered in dust which makes me wonder when was the last time they change the filter . If you stay at this place make sure you know exactly what room you are getting.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Nice condo, liked that it was a lower floor so we could use stairs. The pictures are accurate to the appearance of the condo. The condo could use a few updates. But, there was really nothing about that that took away from our enjoyment of our stay. We would definitely rent this condo again. Sea Breeze staff were nice. Make sure you display your parking pass from mirror, not on the dashboard as the HOA security will issue a warning. The parking garage is tight, hard to navigate with large vehicle. Location of resort is great and they have nice pools and hot tub. The exterior was getting a facelift while we were there so it should be completed soon.
