Perfect Springbreak for the family.

Teachers Lounge was a perfect vacation spot for our family. The house has plenty of room, lots of natural light, and a peaceful atmosphere. Convenient to the beach and park, our family had loads of fun playing sand volleyball, kickball at the park and sunning at the beach. Love this house. I highly recommend it.

For example windows were really difficult to close, shades were broken , and upstairs shower door needed repair, but would definitely recommend!

Family Getaway

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great time during our stay in seaside! This house is a quick 5 minute walk to the square and 10 minute walk to the beach pavilion on E. Ruskin street. It was also very nice being so close to be shaded family pool with little ones! Highly recommend this spot. Only downside was the wood floors were very dirty and we had a little one crawling around so to tops of her feet/hands had a layer of dirt/grime on them from crawling around.

Reviewer Comments: Our 12-member family returned to Seaside and the rental home, Teacher’s Lounge, The home is perfect for 6 adults and 6 grandchildren, ages 1 to 16. We eat together, play together, go to the beach together and fix most meals for all of us to eat together. We have been coming to Seaside for fifteen or more years. We love the house, its porches, and its location. The other Seaside amenities, the big lawn, the outdoor movies, restaurants and shopping, the pools, the beach, and, of course, the bikes make it a wonderful place to watch our grandchildren grow up and have old-fashioned fun. The only drawback is the apparent failure of other families to supervise their children during the evenings. We understand that teenagers want to spend time with kids their own age; but the risk of harm to themselves and others is a hazard. We had a terrific time; our children and grandchildren loved every minute, especially the beach and biking! Just simple pleasures!

Good rental, with one flaw

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our house in Seaside was perfect in almost every way. It sounds picky, but there was not enough toilet paper, paper towels, and the rest. When we phoned the property managers, they told us that if they left too many rolls of toilet paper, guests would steal them. How ridiculous for a rental that it is almost $1000 per night. Begging for toilet paper was a downer, but in every other way, the rental was wonderful.

Fantastic Vacation and Wonderful memories for our entire family

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The home was so peaceful. My wife and I stayed in the first floor bedroom and enjoyed morning coffee on the attached screened porch. The kids were in the upstairs bedrooms with plenty of room. The girls loved swinging on the hammock. My son ran the trail out the back door, that led to the nature preserve and around the beautiful lake. We played volleyball and kickball every evening in the nearby park. And of course the short walk to the beach meant lots of time sunbathing and body surfing. We loved the house. And highly recommend it. It was perfect in every way.

House needs a lot of love

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Lovely fall weekend in Seaside and this house is in a great location for families with children. The layout of the house is great too. However, the house needs a lot of love. We had trouble with coffee maker, ice maker, cooling of home, headboard not attached, tub not draining, doors not closing to bedroom and the kitchen could use a few more items to make it renter friendly. I normally DO NOT post when things are less than satisfactory but I was disappointed in how my hard earned money was spent this year on the rental. A little love to this home would make it a 5 star.

Plenty of sleeping space and comfortable beds. The kitchen is a little small but totally adequate for our needs, including preparing a small Thanksgiving meal. It really felt like home for us and I'd happily stay in Teacher's Lounge again.

The floor plan is excellent for a large group with a bedroom being downstairs and several upstairs. The bunk room is perfect for lots of kids. It was very clean when we arrived and Brigitte was so helpful. She made sure that we had everything we needed for our stay. This home's in a great location. It's easy to walk to the church, town center, adult pool, and park. It's an easy walk to the beach, too. It also has a nice porch where we enjoyed our morning coffee. I'd definitely stay here again!

Disappointing Home

Hot water heater will only allow for 16 mins of hot showers- SUPER inconvenient for our small party of 5...can't imagine if we actually had 14. Ice maker did not work. WiFi was unreliable and spotty. House was definitely not clean (even if we weren't expecting COVID standards). Several bathroom outlets were not operable. So many personal photos and knick-knacks around, we constantly worried about touching and moving all the personal items. Owners personal golf cart took up a large part of the potential parking space. HOC was responsive and helpful but the house is just not up to our usual standards.
