Awesome location, super comfy furniture, great view and well stocked kitchen. We loved our stay here and would stay again. Our favorite is the big covered patio. It rained one day and we didn’t feel like we missed a beach day because we could enjoy it from the lounge chairs.

Not as advertised

First, I will say I have never written a negative review and a VRBO property we had stayed here before and love the location. The mgmt. Co was responsive. However, renters be aware: - the place was in still in renovation and ceilings were unfinished and exposed duck work and insulation/dust was hanging from the ceilings.(this was a serious unknown issue since my mom has a serious lung condition that can be exacerbated by something like this. - the bedrooms air conditioning was not working. Sent in crew and determined that the “renovated duct work” had not been hooked up properly - some bedrooms smelled of paint/not great venting - lights in bedrooms/closets were out or not working - dishwasher was not emptied and some old food in fridge; handles broken on freezer - the mgmt co called the day before and said the third bathroom was not operational and they would refund us some money. However, it does dramatically impact your experience when you think each bedroom will have its own bathroom and then you have to share. - overall, the owners were not prepared to rent this condo in the condition it was in and should have not made it available. It will be the last time we rent this unit.

We had an amazing experience all around! The place is impeccably decorated and the views are second to none! It belongs in a magazine! Lastly, the owner was easy to work with and extremely responsive.

Needs some major upkeep

Carpets are very old, appear dirty, especially awful in small bathroom off main living area. Constant very audible knock in operation system of air conditioner. Vent (very old looking) over table in kitchen drips water onto table surface. Exposed large pipes in kitchen look like something was not not properly finished. Dishwasher door when opened , obviously is broken and falls to floor unexpectedly, smashed several toes with it. Board in ceiling in master bedroom is partially hanging and unattached. No handle on freezer door- it is lying above washer dryer unattached. No measuring cups or spoons. No ice maker. Absolutely no hangers on arrival in master closet. Few (1-2 ) in other closets. Provided 10-12 on Tuesday. Very cluttered decor. For example 8 large pictures on wall in master suite and many different patterns everywhere. Good location and views but have stayed at other turtle lane ocean fronts with much better pricing and upkeep.

Great location and beautiful view

Condo is spacious and the view is spectacular and convenient to activities. However, carpet is rather worn and stained, and bathrooms are very dated and walls could use a fresh coat of paint. Yet, we had a wonderful week with our family and can’t wait to go back.

Great location.

For all the most important reasons, this was a fantastic rental unit. Great condo with incredible views, in one of the best locations to be on the entire island. Minor issues are as follows: approximately a third of all the lightbulbs were burnt out. There were no instructions for anything in the condo, so it took a while to figure out the TV system, the washer/dryer, etc. The oven had no working lights and did not alert the user when it was preheated or anything like. Very odd. The owners either need to replace most electronics or give the renters better ability to understand how they work. Other than that, everything was very nice.

Beautiful but Disappointing

Outstanding view and location. We were disappointed in the condo. It's dated. One shower was out of order and the Master shower was clogged up. Several things need repair and many of the repairs that have been made were of poor craftsmanship. We love the island and will come again but I don't think we will stay in this unit again. Sorry to be negative but it's true

Best View, Decor, & Location

Property is as advertised, we stayed a week and would definitely come back. We love the large deck, eclectic décor, great room layout for a family of 4-6, excellent access to the beach and having a quality restaurant within walking distance is a plus. Only thing missing was accessories for the beach like towels, chairs, umbrella and wake boards. A quick visit to Walmart solved all that for us. We left the chairs, umbrella and wake boards, hopefully the owner will keep them for your stay, if not its worth the investment if you plan on a lot of beach time, which you should do at this wonderful condo.

No better location on the island!

We have been coming to HH for 20 years and have stayed the last 7 in Turtle Lane. This year was our first in 4002. The view is spectacular and can't be beat. We loved the condo- especially the updated kitchen with everything we could possibly need, the meticulously decorated rooms. Our only complaint would be need to update the bathrooms-which look original. We plan to book again next year!

Not a good beginning

The paper that comes in your welcome packet states that Guest satisfaction is our number one goal and to please call if you should require any assistance. Since, I could not find any e-mails with instructions for picking up the keys to the condo, I called the number listed on the condo Vrbo site. The man that answered was very rude and dismissive. With a large sigh as if I was bothering him, he said he had sent the directions 3 times but would send it again. I did then, receive it in my e-mail. The GPS address to the condo in the packet I picked up was wrong and we ended up on the other side of the island. Thinking I had made a mistake and not willing to call the man back, I had Security at the GPS address we had arrived at put in the GPS address in their phone and they came up with the same results we had. Finally, we put in the address on the parking permit and were able to find the condo. The owner said some repairs needed to be finished and he would let me know more later. After not hearing from him again, came home from shopping and found the repair people had been there without ever informing us of a time or day. The condo is beautiful however shower in master bathroom need to be updated and carpet in the master bedroom has quite a few stains. Very disappointed that the lack of courtesy and concern for customer satisfaction was not evident in my only conversation with the owner starting the first day of our stay.

Location Location Location

Watching dolphins from the balcony, riding bikes on the beach, listening to the surf while falling asleep. What a great location! I'm stickler for cleanliness, so the unit was clean, but being in the south on the coast it did need a little extra TLC due to high humidity.

Heavenly oceanfront condo

The place was beautifully decorated! The beds were comfortable! The condo was clean and the kitchen well equipped! The balcony looking to the ocean was breathtaking! We plan on booking this condo again! Loved it!,

Excellent Villa and Location

Beautiful view of the ocean. Beautiful condo with nice furnishings. Easy access to beach. Gated community and property. Plentiful bike paths. Sea Pines is a great plantation with much to offer. Would definitely stay here again.

It was a first visit to Hilton Head and we had the best time! The condo was beautiful, comfortable, well located and had the most spectacular views. We definitely plan to stay there again in the future. The owner, Robert Young, was very responsive and made sure we had everything we needed.

Family Vacation Spot all 3 Generations

We had the entire family there with three generations. The grandparents could sit and watch the family from the covered deck. This made it nice because they cannot really go down to the beach, but they loved watching the grand kids play on the beach. The kids built sand castles, played with the boogie boards and had a great time. The kids had two pools to swim in after a day at the beach too. The kitchen had all that you needed for any meal. Nice family location near the Beach Club too. We went over and had lunch one day. Did not play golf this trip but next time we will since the golf courses are also across the street. We let the grand parents have the oceanfront room and the kids had the twin beds. Big nice TV in the living room to relax and watch movies too. Condo was furnished nice and the view was just to die for. Pictures are what is really in the condo. What a nice family vacation we had. Wish we could have stayed for many more weeks. Will come back next year for the same week. Thank you for a nice clean place too. Everything was clean and ready to go on Saturday for us.

Incredible View

We enjoyed our stay in this condominium. It is very spacious and well-decorated. The kitchen is well-appointed with pots, pans, dishes, etc. No spices or condiments which was a little surprising but just bring your own. The patio has an incredible 180+ degree view of the ocean and beach. We spent a lot of time out there including eating all of our meals on the patio. It is a great spot and nicer than the views of most other units in the complex. The kitchen has been redone. Hardwood floors have been laid in the main living areas and kitchen. The bedrooms all have carpet which is old and a bit dirty. And the baths are still original though they were clean and function just fine. For us, the location trumped the those issues. WiFi worked well. We didn't watch much TV but we did learn upon check-in that two of the three TV's are temporarily not connected to cable. If that's important to you, then check before making a reservation. We would certainly return if we have the opportunity.

Great Views! Saw Pelicans and Sunrise Huge Condo

Wonderful Views of the Ocean! One of the best views we have ever had in any of our stays on Hilton Head for the last 20 years. No trees at all. Pelicans flew by at our level. We watched the sunrise and the moon rise over the ocean. It was wonderful. The location was where we could walk to the golf courses. The guys played golf and the girls went to the beach. We never had to move the car. The new Beach club was nice to have nearby. We walked over one night for dinner and drinks. We love Sea Pines Resort with Harbourtown and South Beach. Both places have some nice restaurants. Crazy Crab was nice, love the hush puppies. South Beach Marina area was like a nice new England style village. The condo was really big, with three huge bedrooms and the master has a very nice view of the ocean. Nice big TVs in the living room to watch movies. Kitchen has some nice appliances too. Enjoyed looking at the ocean from the kitchen. We are very pleased and would like to go back next year.
