Ac units can’t keep up with heat

1. A/c units need upgrading2.The big pool advertised in the listing in not the pool for this condo. The pool for this condo is much smaller and way hotter. (We snuck into the other pool everyday)3. The cable did not work the whole time, the tv in the bedroom wasn’t a smart tv so it was useless the whole time.

Jacob, yes, the view is overlooking the Hilton Resort. You can go down and use the restaurants, but the pool for Ocean Dunes is in front. We do include pics of that pool. We have reset the cable and it is working now. We are very sorry for any inconvenience to your family during your vacation Always call us during your vacation, we have staff on call 7 days a week and would have come check the cable and wifi. There are summer storms and many routers have to be rebooted or replaced. We hope you come back soon, Robert Young, Hilton Head Vacations

The place to go

Had a great time. Condos are really nice. Everyone was friendly. Beach and pool are close. View of beach was great. Many resturants, shops and things to do are within walking distance or no more than 1 or 2 miles away. Loved our stay and cant wait to go back.

Ocean Dunes

Great location! Close to the beach. Pools pictured in description belonged to ocean oaks Hilton hotel so I couldn’t use it. Pool that I could use was not pictured in the description and was closed! Also wasn’t given a park pass. Ice maker didn’t work and notified the proper people but nothing was done.

Good Location but Mediocre Condo

We've stayed at many condos in this same area (and in this same price range) and this was the first one that I've been disappointed with. After checking in the first night, we went to dinner then came back to begin getting ready for bed. When I went to turn down the comforter, I was disgusted! It clearly had NEVER been washed because there were stains and dirt all over it. The entire top edge was brown. There was also someone's hair tie hanging off of the lamp switch by the bed...clearly this room was NOT cleaned properly! My husband immediately called the property manager (but since it was after hours we had to leave a message). The extra bedding in the closet didn't look or smell any cleaner so we slept with only a sheet that night. ALSO, we went out and bought pillows to sleep on because the 2 provided on the bed were literally so flat they were pointless and again, the couple of extra ones in the closet looked quiet gross. Eventually we received a call back the next evening and the property manager said he would go out and purchase a new bedding set for us to use however he couldn't get it to us until after 10pm that night unless we wanted to come pick it up from his office (which we did). We shouldn't have had to deal with all of the inconveniences involved and the condo should have been cleaned and stocked properly to begin with. The bathroom shower was nice but the bathroom is tiny. The rest of the condo seemed fairly clean however it was lacking all of the details that make you feel at home. No rugs in the living room, very uncomfortable sofa, faded coffee table, drawer dividers in the kitchen were cracked and broken. Basically this condo needs a total upgrade of amenities. The location was nice with a very short walk to the beach on a nice boardwalk behind the unit and the pool was nice, however don't be deceived by the listed pictures! I'm not sure why they posted so many pictures of the pool at the complex NEXT DOOR because it is very misleading. Those should not have been included with this listing. This is also a side facing unit (NOT ocean front) though you do have some view of the ocean. Overall we would never stay here again. There are many better options in this area.

We have since this guest stayed here done a deep clean. The picture is of the view overlooking the Hilton Resort. You can go down and have a drink or get a Starbucks Coffee, but the pool for our property is in the front. So, nothing misleading. This is the view from the deck and we have the pool pictures on the site too.

Condo needs a good cleaning and updating.

We arrived late on our check-in date. Once we picked up the key, it gave us the address to the condo. But no directions once on site on how to get to the room or where it was located. Once we entered the condo we could tell it hadn’t been cleaned in a while. It stats it has a queen bed but felt more like a full to us. With some cheap sheets and not enough pillow covers. The bathroom has a ceiling fan and no vent. If you look above the shower on the ceiling you will see black dots on the sheet rock. This is from not having a vent. It appeared to be some type of mold. The condo has so much potential but you can tell the owner has cut corners to save money. Hilton head is amazing and we will definitely be going back. Just not to this condo. I took pictures but it won’t let me upload them.

Nice location -- poor attention to some details.

The property is well furnished. Has a nice outlook onto the neighboring resort (some of which you can utilize). Sideways view to ocean. On arrival we found a half eaten lunch in the refrigerator. Three lights out, the TV not working, and part of the coffee maker missing. All problems resolved by the management in about 1 1/2 days. But these problems should not have existed.

Disappointing stay.

While Ocean Dunes is a wonderful location, this particular condo needs major attention. The couch, chairs and especially the bed was horribly uncomfortable. Upholstery, throw pillows and comfortable were stained, dirty and worn out. There was literally no where to relax in the condo. The TV had only a couple channels and would go in and out. Mostly out. The kitchen could use a few more glasses, and silverware. It was a disappointing stay to say the least. I should have read the reviews.

Odd smell and lights out

When I arrived there was an odd smell in the bedroom that only got worse as my time there progressed. I was unable to identify its source. Also, 2 of the lights in the bedroom were out and I was unable to locate any replacement bulbs so it was kind of dark in the room. Otherwise it was a great place in a perfect location. I would stay again if those 2 issues were addressed.

Hilton Head stay

It was okay, we have stayed at other condos that were in the same price range with better views of the beach, however we had to make a last minute change of vacation plans after a hurricane registered the area leaving just one week to find a condo in a different area. So the choices were limited.

Location...location...location

Location was good... right in the middle of the action with a short walk to the beach. Newly remodeled kitchen was very functional but not well stocked (old frying pans, broken knives, partial silverware, etc). AC in family room worked very well but AC in bedroom broken all week. It was to be replaced after our departure. AC filters looked as if they had not been cleaned in years. Clean overall with a few dirty spots on wall in bathroom and in corners. Photo deceiving which overlooks Hilton pool giving impression that is your pool. But it is not. Old, worn and faded patio furniture and everything tilts to the center on the family room couch . Overall good experience but would likely look for another newer place next visit to Hilton Head. With such a prime location, modernizing the floor covering, painting the walls, and updating worn furniture would go a long way to keeping it relevant. And please, working AC is a necessity during the scorching heat of the summer.

Decent place. A few issues

Beautifully updated kitchen, beautiful view, close to the beach, but not enough space for our family of 4. Parking is horrible. Not enough spaces for the amount of people staying in these condos so you have to park illegally in the lot. We parked at the Marriott next door each night bc we had family staying there and had a parking pass. Some mold on the ceilings. They were accommodating though each time we called with an issue. Keys don't work great in the door, so it took us about 5 minutes each time we had to unlock the door. Laundry room is a public laundry room in case you think it's in the unit. Overall, not an awful experience, but not fabulous either. Did not use pool as we went to the Marriott all week

Great location

We come to Hilton Head every summer. This property was worth the money! Excellent location. The only thing that would have made it better would have been a removable shower head for toddlers, since there is no bathtub and a keypad entry instead of the traditional key lock. It is also nice to have bathrooms near the pool and the beach so you don’t have to go all the way back up to your room! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Great location

This villa is nice, clean, and location is great! The pool is really nice. Great value for the price. The villa could use more places to hang towels and bathing suits. Also, if you are planning to cook in the villa, the kitchen needs a few more things like measuring cups and spoons, pasta spoon, griddle, etc. to make it easier.

Great trip! ready to go back!

Room was very nice, a couple of things needed to be repaired but nothing that had to be repaired during our visit, notified property manager so hopefully repairs made for the next renters. Of note, the view from the balcony is of the pools for the Hilton next door so don't confuse that with the smaller pool that is pictured in other photos that actually belongs to the property (and its a nice pool, just smaller). Walk to beach is very nice and short so easy to go back and forth for rest break and lunch, etc. The number for property manager was incorrect on VRBO but I believe that is now corrected and I was able to Google and find the property manager and get the phone # from them I had no problem getting in touch with them. All in all a great visit, condo in great location and beach was not too crowded as it was far enough away from public beach to not have a big crowd. Very quiet area. Would definitely stay at this condo again.

Location was great. Condo was o.k. But definitely could use some updating. Couch and pillows and throw rugs need to be replaced Bedroom was not very well cleaned. Back door lock fell off. Plenty of room for a couple and price was reasonable. No office on site was a bit frustrating.
