We had a great overall stay and really enjoyed this property. The location is excellent—easy to find, quiet, and perfect for a large group. The home matched the listing photos and description, and check-in was smooth with clear instructions and working access codes.The house is well set up for groups, with lots of seating and storage throughout. The kitchen was well stocked, Wi-Fi was strong, and the smart TVs had access to many streaming services. The entertainment options were a big highlight: pool table (with a hard cover that doubles as a large dining table), foosball, ping pong, multiple game tables, kayaks, fishing gear, and lake access. Fishing was great, and the provided gear was a nice bonus.We did have an issue with the downstairs heater during our winter stay, but the owner was extremely responsive, came out quickly, and resolved it right away. We really appreciated her attentiveness.A few areas could use attention, mainly general upkeep and deeper cleaning. We noticed cobwebs in some common areas, outdoor furniture and lakeside windows needing cleaning, HVAC vents that likely need inspection, and some wear on furnishings and game equipment. One paddle boat was cracked and unusable, and the second was also not usable due to standing water, though the kayaks were in good condition.Overall, it’s a great location and experience, especially for groups, and with a bit of extra upkeep and spring cleaning, it could easily be an excellent rental.
