Highly recommend this delightful spot! The host was very welcoming and helpful. She sent timely text messages and made us feel welcome even before we arrived. Since we were here in December to celebrate Christmas with all of our extended and growing family, the host had a huge Merry Christmas banner at the entrance of the property, along with a "Joy to the World" banner outside the front door and side patio, and when we opened the front door, we were so surprised the host had put up a Christmas tree for us! She is incredibly thoughtful! The kitchen was equipped to host a large group and there was enough table space for all of us to sit down at one time for dinner. The house was clean and comfortable. Check in and check out were very easy. (Unfortunately we got news that my husband's father had fallen and was in the hospital, so our check out was rushed and I probably wasn't thinking clearly because I forgot to clean out the refrigerator - my bad!) There is so much to do in this house - pool table, ping pong, darts, board games, I couldn't name them all here. The best part was being able to sit on the back porch and watch the lake - I was surprised to see so many pelicans! You felt like you were miles away from civilization here, but you were only four minutes away from stores, restaurants, gas stations - anything you could need was nearby. I can see why families would use this place in the summer months, but we found it delightful at Christmastime!
