This home offers an open layout for spacious congregation. Fully Equipped Kitchen for home cooked meals and game room to keep every one entertained! Ideal for multi fam traveling with children, retreats/small events, or school events. Plenty of parking! Pets & Water toys welcome!! Marina next door!

House was clean and comfortable for a large group. Very comfortable outdoor space off of both sides of the house but not particularly a yard. Firepit area was pleasant.

There were ants coming in the kitchen window near the trash. The floor was very dirty. The children found dead bugs, beads, glitter, hair clips and a vape on the living room floor. The floors upstairs and in the bathrooms were also dirty. There was a sewer smell coming from one of the showers upstairs (it was not unusable). The patio cushions were dirty and unusable. The refrigerator temperature was set to high causing spoiled food. The highchair had food left on it from the last guest. There was an upstairs entry door (no access to it) that was open. We had to clean a lot of the place ourselves.

I appreciate your feedback. A lot of rainfall will always cause an ant issue, I apologize for them taking part of your stay. Along with outdoor patio cushions. The recent rain and wind has made it hard to provide full comfort outside. Wished the bathroom situation was brought up to my attention. We certaily would of adressed it. Im glad you noticed the cancelled door from the outside which used to be connected to an old deck. Not sure how thats relevant to the reservation. Communication is always appreciated during your stay

Sadly, the property is not reflective of the photos currently posted! There are MANY things that need to be fixed: mold visible on walls and inside cabinets, many items that need repair or replacement as they are very worn or damaged, baseboards missing, renovations that have been started and left not completed, etc. Our families met to stay at this house (multi generational-6 adults and 6 children). This house is in a great location with lake access and allows for lots of family to stay and visit! The owner was very responsive to bring items the house was missing and needed and also came to fix safety issues (outlets that didn’t have outlet covers). If this house receives the cleaning, repairs and maintenance needed it would be a great place!

Nicole, I deeply appreciate the feedback and pointing out these areas of concern, as guest safety and comfort are extremely important to us. Since your stay, we have been actively addressing the maintenance items mentioned, including repair and replacement of several items mentioned followed by a deep cleaning of the home. HVAC clean included. We appreciate you acknowledging the improvements being made to the home. We definitely have our guests in mind when creating new spaces, new features and new commodities. Although I couldn't address all of the areas of concerns, I appreciate you allowing me to fix what I could and also being very polite and kind. Thank you for sharing your vacation plans and mentioning all the essential items you felt you needed in the kitchen. This allowed me to restock in kitchen tools for you and the next guest. You guys did amazing as guest!

Pictures online are very deceptive. Pulled into the driveway with trash and what looked like abandoned construction projects laying under leaves and trash. Patio furniture and cushions were very dirty, thrown about and not at all what is pictured online. Interior had unfinished projects everywhere and some VERY unsafe spots (I almost fell down the stairs from laundry room where there should have been a wall or gate, there is a step down in kitchen that we had two people fall down. Communication was awful- check in was listed as 3 in one place and 4pm in another. We didn’t get door code until 4:30 with guests sitting in parking lot. Lake area was dirty, unkept. Carpet stains everywhere, toilet upstairs had a damp string to flush it. I think they are building a new house behind and just plan to bulldoze this one from the way it is taken care of. Very disappointed.

Glenn Thank you for your feedback. Guest safety and comfort are extremely important to us. It's unfortunate that we have to wait to hear it from our own guests in order to fully understand what needs our immediate attention. And by then, it's already affected our guests experience. We have since then completed various home improvements and did a deep cleaning of the home. We also hired a house manager. This will prevent us from overlooking any potential problem. Very Beautiful Cozy Home - Great for large groups

Came to DFW for the big LNY celebration. This house was perfect for our group of 4 small families. Host was very responsive and friendly. Would definitely stay here again.

The perfect staycation!

We were looking for something to host family and friends for a staycation birthday party. This place did not disappoint. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The weather was cold so we stayed indoors, but we were very comfortable. One day was nice enough to walk down by the lake and sit outside by the fire pit and make s'mores.

Enjoyed our stay

We rented this house for my daughter and her friends as we were in Fort Worth to celebrate her 21st birthday. The house was perfect for what we needed. Plenty of space for everyone (15 of us). We had everything we needed.

Relaxing Getaway

Great house, lots of room and space for large gatherings. Easy access to lake and short distance to the Fort Worth Nature Center. Perfect location for a getaway closer to home!

We were having a wedding in the area and this was nearby, could hold lots of people so it was what we were looking for. Looks like it was being remodeled slowly but everything that we needed to worked so it was nice.

Great 4th of July getaway

In town for family wedding

Martha was an excellent host, very quick to respond to questions and graciously accepted delivery of groceries and put away for us before our arrival. Home was nice, however was going through a remodel at time of our stay.

Perfect weekend!

The house was immaculate and bigger than we expected. Being right by the lake and having a fire pit there wasn’t anything else we could have asked for. The host of the property responded to questions immediately as well.

Spacious home that accommodated the needs of our family gathering. Enjoyed playing games together and enjoying meals around the large kitchen table. Great communication from the owner. She put us in touch with a business for jerky rental who brought them up to the shore by the lakehouse. Very convenient! One thing we wish the lakehouse had was a pier for fishing. The access to the beach is narrow so not sure that is viable. The neighboring properties have piers. The home has great accommodations for large family gatherings including toddler beds and high chairs. Would definitely consider staying here again for another large gathering.
