Overall, the property was decent. The Jacuzzi top needs to be fixed and replaced. The pool was very shallow, but very warm overall cleanliness was very above par. The mattresses, however, need to be replaced. The property is showing its age. The smell of cleaning products was very strong and we had to air out the home for quite some time And it was still present by the time we left.

Family vacation

House was very comfortable and enjoyable…. We absolutely loved the pool & pool table….over all the house was very clean and perfect for our family and friends to enjoy…. I’d definitely recommend to anyone..

Ski Trip

Great proximity to Heavenly Mountain and a reasonable drive to Kirkwood in good weather. Roads can be tricky after a storm, so snow tires, socks, or chains are a must. The house is spacious, though a bit dated compared to the photos. The pool was great for the kids, and the hot tub was perfect for adults. Kitchen appliances, especially the dishwasher, could use an upgrade, and WiFi bandwidth was slow despite the property managers providing a new router. That said, they were very responsive, and the driveway was plowed quickly after snowfall. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay!

The property is very nice. It is in a quiet neighborhood about 20 minutes from the South Lake Tahoe boating area. It was a big house with lots of room for sleeping and all the guests we had. The indoor pool was great. Some of the appliances didn't work like one of the ovens. The dishwasher didn't clean very well and the kitchen sink got clogged multiple times with just water going down it. The worst part and why I am rating 2 stars is the communication with the company who manages this property. Since the oven was not working and we had a chef coming in to cook a meal, I reached out to the management people. They had sent an email with directions to get in the house and a number to reach out to if there were issues while we were there. I emailed that email back and texted the number given to us. Someone emailed back and said they would come look at the oven. Then they asked when would be a good time. I responded asking if someone needed to be home or if they could just come in since they are managing the property and we had plans throughout the day. They never responded back to me for the whole weekend. When I texted the number I saw the message was read but it also was not responded to. I then reached out after we had left telling them of our frustrations and asking for any kind of credit or discount and they said because I never responded back to them they thought everything was fixed and fine. They never responded to my request for a discount. So just be warned.

Weekend stay

Overall It was a comfortable home. There were TV's in 3 rooms that did not work . The beddings were dated. The cable had poor reception sometimes. The internet was fast. Loved the indoor pool . The jets in the jacuzzi were very weak. They appliance were nice. The heating and fireplace were great. My grand kids enjoyed the home. Again big plus on the indoor pool. Thank You

Terrible property condition

The condition of the house was equally appalling. I could never have imagined that a property at this price would be in such a neglected state:Dirty, Spotty Towels and Pillows – It was absolutely disgusting to find visibly stained towels and pillows. This is basic hygiene, and to see such neglect at this price point was shocking and unacceptable.Excessive Chlorine in the Pool Rusted, Unusable Barbecue – The barbecue area was one of the main reasons I chose this property, but the grill was rusted and unusable.Terrible Smell from the Carpet – The carpet in the living room had an unbearable smell. None of the bathrooms had working receptacles. Bathrooms' Plugs Were Being Fixed for Two Whole Days – To make matters worse, the plugs in the bathrooms were broken for the entire duration of our stay and were being "fixed" for two full days. The disruption of having maintenance staff constantly coming and going and leaving the bathrooms in a state of disrepair was incredibly frustrating. We were forced to deal with this for days, and it added an entirely unnecessary level of stress to our stay.Chipped Dishes – The dishes provided were chipped, which made me question the care and attention given to even the simplest aspects of this property. For the amount I paid, I expected everything to be in perfect condition.Scratched Floors – The floors were visibly scratched and worn, contributing to the overall feeling of neglect. There was much more to mention.

Great Property with Some Inconveniences

We had 4 couples and their newborn babies ranging from 4-9 months during our stay. The indoor pool was great for the families to hang out. I would say the humidity in that roof and lack of proper circulation caused extreme peeling of paint on the walls and what appeared to be mold on the walls. Screens were almost all gone from the home minus a few that were damaged so when opening the windows for ventilation flys or bugs could come inside. The temperature of the home was nice and quite cool but adjustment of the thermostat was not possible because it was locked ina Case. The master bedroom however was extremely warm and I don’t think the ducting circulated well into that room because the other guests felt their rooms were cold while ours remained around 76-79 degrees according to our baby monitor. Communication with the host was difficult during check in and I finally received an email back around 12AM the following morning. Overall I don’t think I would stay here again. The overall condition of the home was poor and needs some repairs for the amount we spent. 4 days for (unspecified amount) in July of 2023 for reference.

No Airconditioner & Heavily Used

Our overall stay was lovely because Tahoe is beautiful. The homes location and privacy was very nice. Lots of bathrooms, space for a big family, good showers, pool table, and swimming pool were big bonuses. But, the house is much more heavily used than the pictures shows and my family was extremely uncomfortable without air conditioning in hot July. Our room upstairs was extra hot. There are ceiling fans in the living room that don’t work - we had to use loud portable fans. The window screens had holes (or no screen at all), we were forced to open the windows and share the house with flying bugs. The heat in the house overwhelmed everyone, not fun. The refrigerator was not that cold and I’m not sure the pool heater really works (due to the heat, no one cared). The internet went down for a day and the house across the way had construction going on all weekend. Lastly, the outdoor patio area was not an enticing place to want to sit and enjoy an outdoor summer drink or dinner. Lots of cobwebs, spiders, it looked damp, overgrown weeds, basically unloved. The house has so much potential and was clearly special at one time. Care is required.

Great house, but some small issues

House is spacious and great for a group of people. It was clean and comfortable, but there were several issues that caused some inconvenience. First, the bottom oven would not work. The door wouldn't lock and stayed slightly ajar, causing an annoying humming noise. Second, the Keurig that was in the property did not work at all. I emailed the management, and they delivered a second Keurig the next day, but that one would only brew on the largest cup setting. Both units should be either repaired or completely replaced. Third, the racks in the dishwasher are broken. They are coming off the tracks, which makes them difficult to use. If you try to pull out the top rack, it just falls off the track. Fourth, the internet is not good. Watching TV was almost impossible at times because it would just freeze up. And the Wifi was very weak. None of us had reliable access to the internet. This was only a problem because a couple of us needed to work remotely and weren't able to. The house is stocked with plenty of dishes and cookware, but lacked on some conveniences like extra paper towels (there was one roll for the whole week) and dryer sheets (but there was laundry detergent). Also, it would be nice to have some games or books, and blankets to use in the living room. Overall, we had a good stay. I would stay there again, but would need a guarantee that all the small issues are fixed.

Nice house but not for you if you have kids

The house is actually pretty nice and it’s a good size for big families, but have a few issues: fridge doesn’t cool that much and grill doesn’t work either. We called the person in charge to get us a gas tank (it took them about an hour to get us one) since we thought it was the issue but it didn’t work either (it ruined our plans since it was one of the main things to do the first day we got there since we were staying there the whole day)when I mentioned this to the lady in charge she said she wont be able to get another grill for us until later on the weekend so we ended up cooking inside. Neighbors are super sensitive about noise. It was only 6 pm and we had kids (2yrs -11yrs) playing in the pool (since this is the first attraction of the house) and a neighbor complaint about the noise (which was only kids having fun) the same lady that brought the gas tank came and told us that we had to stop otherwise next call was going to be to the police and we would have to pay a $1000 dollar fine. She got mad because she called 3 times to my phone before going to the house but I didn’t answer since my phone was charging. After this we all were disappointed. We understand that we can go to a place and make noise and disturb people... but it was only 6pm and were only kids having fun... oh! She also mentioned (I dont know if she tried to scare us or what) but she said that neighbors were trying to vote against vacation homes because they don’t want to deal with disturbance? I didnt get her point. We have been going to Lake Tahoe for the past 5 years and I have never deal with someone complaining about our noise. As I mentioned,we have been renting cabins for the past few years and usually they have a pretty good pantry with basic stuff but not here. At least they dont have salt and oil (most places where we have stayed in have had them) Also, before we started our vacation I received an email about the parking spots. You are only allowed to have 4 cars (2 inside garage and 2 outside in the driveway) but you are not allowed to park in the street. When I email them back about our situation that we had 5 cars the person who answered said that if it was only one it was fine to park in the street, but when the lady came to the house to tells us about the complaint she said no! We couldn’t park there and that we had to find a way to park that car in the driveway otherwise the car was going to get a ticket. It was a very disappointing stayed.

The house itself was nice and clean, and we appreciated that the host allowed us to check out late on Sunday. However, we did not have a good experience overall. We were told not to make noise even during the day, including when using the hot tub or spending time outside. Even though we were well before the quiet hours (10 p.m. to 8 a.m.), we couldn’t play music or enjoy any outdoor group activities. Because of this, we wouldn’t recommend this place if you’re looking to have some fun or relax with family.

Fun stay for family and friends

Nice spacious property. Great bill for sledding nearby. Many reviews made us fear complaints from neighbors about noise but it was not an issue. But we kept doors and windows closed to keep the noise in. Overall it was a good place to stay at.

Family get away

The place was a comfortable size for the whole family. 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms were perfect. Hot tub was a great relaxation treat. Kids loved the heated indoor pool. Family loved the pool/billiard game for entertainment. The place has its wear and tear from the dining table and chairs, refrigerator and the billiard table, Electric fans broken. Pool water was cloudy and too much chlorine. On our check out day, we need to load the dishwasher/clean the dishes, put away the trash and load towels in the washer even when there was a cleaning fee charge already. Overall it was a good experience for a short get away from home. Thanks for sharing your place!

The property was clean and had all the amenities specified; however, it didn't appear that anything (furniture, comforters, etc.) had been replaced due to wear and tear from previous renters for years.

Great Amenities

We stayed during Memorial Day weekend and the check in process was very easy, the property manager was easy to work with and the amenities is great! The pool is not deep at all but it did the job and the best part was the steam shower! - prince is high for this weekend so I'd choose another weekend next time

The South Lake Tahoe Experience

The place was amazing! It was 8 minutes away from all grocery stores which included Safeway, Whole Foods, rite aid, and about 7 Starbucks. It was also surrounded by beautiful places to hike. The indoor pool was about 3 feet tall but it provided a warm place to relax while there was snow outside. We had a group of 10 which was perfect because that way everyone had their own bedroom. The mattresses where extremely comfortable. The home was equipped with a pool table, a ping pong table, card games and board games. Over all it was a great experience.

Wonderful!!

The house is amazing and was cleaned excellent. The first day the spa was fine but then it turned green the next morning. You may stock up a bit more toilet paper for big groups. The kitchen had EVERYTHING imaginable. We had a blast. The tile around the pool got slippery but we brought beach towels and put them down. Would definitely recommend this place.
