This was the most disappointing experience we have had at a property ever. We arrived on Saturday 12/27 and realized the stove and upstairs televisions weren’t working. Sunday morning we discovered we didn’t have hot water either. We messaged the host several times to no response and only received a message saying they KNEW about the issues and the gas company “might” be out Monday after we contacted Support and started a case. Upon checking out on Tuesday morning we had neither a resolution to the issues nor any other response from the host. Very frustrating to have a serious issue that the host knew about but didn’t reveal and allowed you to check in any way. Then have said host be non responsive is completely unprofessional.

Everything was great and the golf course view was perfect. Bed upstairs didnt not have sheets on the bed and some of the towels in the master bedroom where just hanging on the back of the bathroom door so wasn't sure if they were clean but there was a washer and dryer to resolve problem. The key card for the pool was not avaliable but the host made sure we got one the next day.

17 night stay. Advert said on site water park. Queried this with owner a couple of weeks before (another review said it wasn’t available), it was deleted overnight from listing, owner denied it was mentioned! Broken dishwasher. From reviews, the previous renters mentioned this. Leaking tap in kitchen (water running down wall). Advised the owner, maintenance came & dismantled the tap. Then had no kitchen tap for most of stay! Advert doesn’t mention unusual layout - 2 bedrooms downstairs & 1 upstairs with the lounge/ kitchen. The balcony off the lounge has no chairs on it to sit out (nice view of the golf course). The sofa is so old some zips are broken & you are almost on the floor. No guidance in the property about anything - the resort or the property. Advert mentions shuttles provided - no idea where to! Lack of information about the resort means you have no idea what is/ isn’t available to you/ what you can use/ where pools are. Asked at the club house about playing & they ‘don’t really’ let non members play. They said try turning up on a day & ask. 200 for a round with hire of clubs.The main light in the upstairs bedroom doesn’t work. There’s a full length mirror leaning unfastened against the wall in a downstairs bedroom - unsafe. The outdoor seating area needs a good clean (& you have to go through bedrooms to use it). The patio door areas need a good clean as filthy. We advised the owner of these points, no response. Beds are comfy & clean.

The area is quiet and really nice on the golf course. Check in was easy but no communication about anything during the stay. Very little supplies. Bring trash bags and toilet paper. You take Your own trash to the dumpster. There was no life safety smoke detectors all ripped Out of the wall. Serious safety issue. I went and bought a co detector at Walgreens to be sure. All appliances are gas. AC doesn’t work well upstairs. Must make sure you don’t cook or the temperature In the unit will skyrocket. Downstairs bedrooms are very cold. Two large tubs which are nice but hot water runs out fast. Beds are comfortable and pool Is great. Dishwasher was broken too. Lots of owners personal items in the unit. Nice for a short stay. Lots of bathrooms and bedrooms.

The location was great for our event. This was my first VRBO experience and I was very disappointed in the communication from the host. I did not get any check in info until I had to request the info the morning of. Keep in mind I was driving for 5 hours and would prefer to have my ducks in a row before I drive, not while driving. Upon entering the condo, I was greeted by a large copy machine and a box game of Scrabble. Why? I had to ask about wifi instructions which the host later provided me with incorrect info. I had to go to Starbucks in order to use their wifi to deal with a work emergency. We also did not have access to the pool or fitness center as promised. The green access cards were not in the place as promised. Overall the response time to my questions seemingly were answered at 130am. Also, none of the patio sliding doors seemingly worked. Not sure if the owner was concerned for security, but it would have been nice to know if the doors were intentionally deadbolted to the frame.

Wouldn’t stay again

Overall the property itself was nice. Very nice location, quiet community. The first issue we had was the air conditioner not working, spent the first two nights trying to sleep in temperatures inside reaching near 80 degrees, very uncomfortable. The host was somewhat dismissive when I reached out, stating the unit was doing all it could, which was later confirmed by the service man to be untrue. Most frustrating was never to even receive an apology for our discomfort. Also a minor issue we had was having 7 guests and only 6 towels and washcloths total so had to buy our own but not a major set back. Luckily our trip was so busy we did not spend a lot of time in the property but would choose a different host to stay with in the future

Great location

Wonderful location and Emma was great at staying in communication during our travels. The home was really nice and clean, super comfortable beds and the area felt very safe.

Great unit

The unit itself was nice, clean, and spacious. The host was a little hard to get a hold of. There was no key card for the pools as promised and we were asked to go to the hotel to get one or wait a few days. We said we'd wait but never got a card. We eventually had to go to the hotel. Also Amazon packages kept arriving and a man came knocking one morning to pick them up which was a little unnerving.
