We chose this apartment in Camden near King’s Cross for its generous size, central location, and advertised amenities. In many ways, it delivered. The gym was well equipped and we made good use of it. During the recent heat wave, the central air conditioning with individual room controls was a huge plus. Despite nearby construction, the apartment itself was quiet, and we appreciated being within easy walking distance to the tube, train stations, Coal Drops Yard shopping, and plenty of pubs and restaurants.Unfortunately, the overall condition of the property didn’t meet our expectations. All of us found the beds and pillows very uncomfortable, which made restful sleep difficult. Both bathrooms had a stale odor, and one had visible mold—definitely not what you'd hope for in a rental. The listing advertised 2.5 bathrooms, but there were only 2. The balcony was a nice touch, but lacked any furniture, so it wasn’t usable as a sitting area. In the kitchen, several cabinet doors were hanging loose due to broken hinges, adding to the general sense of wear and tear throughout the apartment.This place has potential, especially given its location and layout, but it’s in need of some attention and updates to truly offer a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
