We booked condo, condo had black mold moved us to house, for 3 day then tried to move us to another house which smelled like urine. We refused to dtay there they placed us back in house we moved from. Wasted whole day moving stuff, never again

301 East - Beautiful place!

We have been coming to Martinique for almost 20 years and continue to love it more each time we come. This was our first time staying in an East condo and we loved it but do prefer the West condos in comparison. My only complaint about 301 East is that there needs to be an ice maker. In a condo for so many people, there needs to be a way to ice down our beach cooler without having to drive to get ice every day. The kitchen was equipped nicely. Beds were all super comfortable and AC worked great! The views from the large balcony were fabulous and we loved having plenty of seating out there for our family of 8. Also wish there had been some beach towels available to use. We loved our stay at this condo. We have come her with other families and referred many families to come and stay as well. We brought my parents with us this time and they had a wonderful time too! They stayed in 305East. Thank you again, Martinique, for a wonderful vacation! We will be back. ❤️🌺☀️🌊🏖️

Our favorite Gulf location

The size suits 3 couples with ample room and a spacious deck overlooking the Gulf and the Bon Secours Wildlife refuge.It is private and secure. We were only allowed two vehicles on property for 3 couples which was a problem but we solved it. We would have paid extra for a third space. For this we would deduct a star.The restaurant options have been dramatically enhanced by the opening of Jesse's on the Gulf just 2 miles away.The amenities are great but we would have hoped for a large flat screen tv.We will return again in the future.

The unit is very nice, clean and the kitchen well equipped with anything you could need. With its corner location overlooking the nature preserve, it is so quiet...exactly like we love. I would have booked it for next year but needed Sunday to Sunday and the unit only allows for Saturday to Saturday.As I stated, this is our 12th year at Martinique. Last year we had trouble reaching management staff and when we did they were not anywhere near as friendly and helpful as usual. This year they were back to their awesome selves, yay! Also, while the grounds are always well kept, this year they were even more spectacular! Due to the coolness of the weather, the pools were not utilized by any of our group and by very few of the other guest. While the weather cannot be controlled, it would be nice if management would heat the first pool in October so that people can enjoy at least one of the pools. We did see the security people patrolling often and noticed that people who did not have condo parking passes but were parked up by the condo's were getting tickets (told they were warning tickets the first time). It was a tad disconcerting to see the security man with a gun on his hip, would hope such need was not necessary.If you decide to book a stay at 301E you will not regret it!

It is quiet and relaxing. The grounds are well kept and tropical looking with palms and palmettos.The unit itself has had some recent upgrades in the kitchen with some upgrade to the master suite planned.Mattresses in the other two suites could use with an upgrade.The kitchen is very well stocked since we like to cook especially with all the locally available seafood.

Rating Details: The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our 4th stay at Martinique. We have stayed in condos twice, a crescent home once, and a 4 bedroom home once. We have enjoyed all of our visits, but this will be our last stay in a condo. The cleanliness was not up to par, there were repairs that needed to be done, and not enough bath towels for a unit that sleeps 8. The houses on property appear to be cared for better than the condos. In fact, I scrubbed down the kitchen appliances that were splattered with food, sauces, and grease, as well as cleaning the balcony and wiping the kitchen and bathroom cabinets. So, if the occupants who arrived on June 12 were impressed with how clean it was...that was me, not the housekeeping staff. Lastly, a raucous group of late night partiers rented the unit next door on our last day. Their party began at 11:30pm...well past the “keep noise to a minimum” hour, and we had a difficult time locating security...calling several times and getting in our own car to drive to the guard house. We did speak to some of the group asking if they could keep it down a bit...their response was to turn it up louder! It was 2:00am when we finally reached a security guard and we had only 3 hours to sleep before starting a 13 hour drive home. We understand that folks like to party on vacation but this was LOUD. Our walls and bed were shaking from the bass, we could actually hear the conversations and it sounded like they actually had a DJ. Had we been able to reach security at the start would have made a world of difference.
