Beautiful Scenery

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The cabin and scenery are breath taking. The coffee maker did not work. The projector did not work in the theater room. The fireplace would not light. The bugs was a huge discussing would have been nice to have extra paper towels and toilet paper on hand. Some extra little things like small bottles of shampoo, body wash, laundry detergent and a hair dryer.

The views of the mountains are spectacular. The cabin is very spacious and accommodates 4 people very easily. We love the deck with the fire table and the outside dining table.We stayed 4 nights but wish we could have stayed longer. You will not be disappointed if you book this cabin.We have booked with Elk Springs many times when we visit Gatlinburg and have never had any problems. Thank you Dan for always taking care of our reservations

We had a few maintenance issues but Elk Springs was fast to react with no impact to our stay at all. Customer service was excellent to deal with and go out of their way to make sure you have a nice vacation.

Our visit to Gatlinburg consisted of hiking nearby trails in the Smoky Mountain National Park every morning and relaxing at the cabin in the afternoon and evenings. The hot tub, games and movie room options were the perfect way to unwind every day. We absolutely loved our stay and the views were amazing! The property was clean and ready on time for check-in and the management company responded timely to all of our inquiries. We wondered if the pictures online were too good to be true but I'm happy to say that the in person experience was even better than the pictures! Highly recommend Forever Young!

Weekend Anniversary Staycation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Short version: Would recommend, but pack accordingly as it does not come with many starter supplies. Could easily accommodate 6-8 people if there were some air mattresses.Long version: My husband and I, along with another couple, stayed here for a 2-night anniversary getaway. We’re local and have stayed in the area often. The location was fantastic—secluded with incredible mountain views, just up a steep, narrow drive and about 20 minutes from Gatlinburg (which we usually avoid unless we’re craving The Pancake House). We tried The Greenbrier nearby and highly recommend it for a nice dinner.The cabin was much larger than expected, with 3 levels and 2 spacious master suites (top and bottom floors). Beds were comfy, water pressure was great, and there was plenty of hot water and storage.We cooked two meals and used the grill. The kitchen layout felt a little chaotic, mostly due to the number of lower cabinets, but we had no trouble finding cookware or utensils. The commercial fridge/freezer was a nice touch—just note it doesn’t have filtered water or an ice maker. The kitchen is very minimal when it comes to basics—just salt and pepper. There was a blender and an old-school coffee maker, but no Keurig, so we had to go out and buy coffee after bringing pods.A few suggestions: the upstairs bedroom was warmer than the rest of the house, so we had to sleep with the door open and use a fan. There were no starter shampoos, conditioner, or hairdryer—just plenty of bar soap. Hooks near sinks and by the hot tub would be helpful, along with luggage racks. It’d also be nice if the pool table (middle level) and hot tub (lower level) were on the same floor. I don't recall seeing any extra pillows, but plenty of extra blankets.The communication prior to checking in and out was excellent. We had no issues finding the cabin. It was clean, no odors. I appreciated the labels through

The fire pit never worked, so that was disappointing. We had amazing weather but no where to enjoy a walk because of the steep hills. I loved the cabin but would rather of been not so secluded.

Trying to get your door code with no service is impossible while this is not elk springs fault having it earlier would of solved this to get the code and wi fi. 2nd very few screens on windows. While we booked in the fall we would of like fresh air! 3rd the grill flames were bad, by this i mean it needs replaced to cook food properly. While I've owned a weber grill and they are great they also have lifetime warranty on there grills. The views were stunning kitchen was nice along with the setup of everything. We will be back for sure.

It was clean and comfortable, and instructions were provided where needed, although we did have a learning curve with a few things. There were many things to do in the cabin, such as the fire pit, theater room, hot tub, etc. The best part was the amazing views from the balconies on all three levels. Conveniently located, the cabin was a short drive away from both Gatlinburg and Smokey Mountain National Park, making it an ideal base for exploring the area.

We Will Be Back

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a very enjoyable and relaxing trip to the Smokey Mountains and stayed at Forever Young. The cabin was immaculate upon check-I and was really just what we had hoped. Three (3) decks - one (1) on each level of the home. Allowed for peace and quiet even within the home. If you do not like stairs, find another property managed by Elk Springs as you either go up or down to sleep. Nothing on the main floor, but we knew this. We had a couple of maintenance issues, but Elk Springs was very prompt and courteous to fix. Communication was a key and Elk Springs did this in spades. We were very pleased and impressed.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My rental wasn't what I asked for. I asked to be near the Heavenly Heights cabin. I wasn't. The location was horrible. I asked to be moved. Was told there wasn't anything available that night. There was a power outage and to top it off a bear came near my vehicle to the point we didn't feel safe getting out to unpack our things. We stayed at a hotel for the night. I wasn't reimbursed for that night. So money lost. The next morning was charged an additional $500 to be moved. So no didn't enjoy my stay at all.
