¡Bienvenido a Live Oak Cottage en Bald Head Island!

4 Live Oak Trail es tu hogar lejos de todo. Tenemos una casa completamente equipada junto con 2 carritos de golf. Sabemos lo importante que es tener las conveniencias simples en vacaciones para que su viaje sea sin preocupaciones. En cuanto a la distribución de nuestra casa, tenemos un plano de planta abierto con un dormitorio (King), baño completo, cocina, comedor y sala de estar en la planta baja. Arriba hay una habitación con literas (2 gemelas), una suite principal con baño (Queen), una sala de estar y un baño completo. Estamos ubicados en el centro de la isla. Estamos a menos de 5 minutos del ferry y la playa y a unos 2 minutos de la tienda de comestibles y todas las tiendas marítimas. ¡Sabemos que disfrutará de nuestra casa tanto como nosotros!

Cozy cottage

It was perfect for our visit. Felt very comfortable and loved the screened in porch, had a great nap out there just listening to the breeze. Booked last minute and added an extra night we were lucky and everyone was very accommodating. Will look for availability next time we come down!

Fantastic house & location

Wonderful house (pictures don’t do it justice) with an extremely well appointed kitchen for cooking! Had a fantastic and relaxing week with 4 adults. Currently does have a gas grill (listing says charcoal only) which was a pleasant surprise when we arrived.

Siblings Trip

My 3 brothers and I had a great stay at this property. The house was perfect. Beds were so comfy for sleeping and all the rooms had TV's. We also used the bikes provided as well as the golf carts. A wonderful week and we look forward to it again!!

Like a tropical paradise

This was a great place and the entire island was like a tropical paradise. The property was beautiful and we had everything we needed. Lots of towels and welcomed the ceiling fans . We enjoyed the location too. Very close to the market and the restaurants! We will be back!

Perfect Home!

We have been visiting Bald Head for 10 years now! This is by far the nicest home we have stayed in! It is the perfect location (close to beach, stores & marina). By far the nicest & cleanest home. The house is stocked with everything you may need for a week! We loved it so much that we will always book our next visits around this home's availability! Beyond that dealing with BHI Services are a top notch business to deal with! Very kind as well as informative on any needs! Thanks for the best week ever!

Adorable home but not cleaned

I checked in at 4p per rules and the house had not been cleaned from the previous renter. No one came by. My message about the situation was never returned. I bought cleaning supplies and cleaned myself including laundry and making beds. My "mom" vacation started off as anything but. I can't recommend this property management company.

Hello, we do apologize for the cleanliness of the home! This was a last minute booking and we did miss it. We did receive your email and responded back immediately with the offer to send someone over to clean asap. Your email replied that you did not want anyone in the home at that point. We refunded your cleaning fee and offered a restaurant gift card for the inconveniences. Again, we do apologize and would have been more than happy to resolve this immediately. Absolutely Amazing!

Wow, this is a beautiful home! From the reviews we had high expectations, but it was even more beautiful in person! Home was spotlessly clean and stocked with everything and anything. The three bedrooms and den/office were beautifully decorated with TV's in all of the rooms; the layout was perfect for our stay. Plenty of room for our adult sons who stopped by to say hello, they loved it. The screened porch was absolute heaven and surrounded by beautiful oaks and lush forest. We used everything and even did laundry. Bed was very comfortable. Having two carts was ideal. Location is also ideal: convenient to both the marina and Maritime market. Brandy/BHI Services were incredibly helpful prior to our stay and very attentive during to handle any questions. Communications and arrival/departure instructions were prompt, easy and comprehensive. We can't wait to book this gorgeous home again. Amazing vacation, thank you for everything!

Live Oak Cottage

The kitchen was the most well equipped of any property we have ever rented. The house itself met all of our expectations. However, the posting for the house said there would be a 4 passenger and a 6 passenger golf cart and they were both for 4 passengers.

Quiet retreat

We had a wonderful long weekend getaway at this property! We are a family of four with an 11 and 14 year old. The house was exactly as advertised and shown in pictures. The inside was decorated very nicely and had comfortable furniture and beds. The bathrooms could use a little updating, but just purely aesthetics to match the rest of the home. They were clean and functioned properly. The water pressure was great, which sometimes is a problem at the beach. The outside had the best screened porch and was set so privately in the trees. My husband saw multiple deer while sitting on the porch during our three days there. The two golf carts were great. The home is so centrally located on the island. It seemed we were halfway to the beach, the lighthouse/marina and the market. It was the off-season and during COVID, so hours at the shops and restaurants were haphazard, but we have come to expect that during these times. We were still able to do most everything we wanted to. Such a lovely weekend of peace and quiet to unwind, be in nature and just catch up with family! Highly recommend this home and a trip to Bald Head!

Wonderful Weekend!

We totally enjoyed our first visit to BHI and are already planning a return trip. Live Oak Cottage was perfectly located to be able to quickly visit all areas of the island. The home was very comfortable, clean and well appointed. The only negative would be that the outside sitting areas could have been cleaner. We would definitely stay here again!
