Villa Petra is a beautifully presented 2-bedroom villa set on the outskirts of the traditional village of Karavados, offering fantastic panoramic views of the Ionian Sea.
Perfect for families and couples alike, this secluded and private residence provides a serene retreat for those seeking relaxation and style.
The villa boasts a large open-plan living area with an ornamental feature stone fireplace, a separate dining area, and a modern kitchen, all leading to a covered veranda area. From here, you can access the private, fully-tiled swimming pool, surrounded by expansive feature patios equipped with sunbeds, a traditional Kefalonian BBQ area, and an inviting “al fresco” dining space. The fully landscaped gardens complete the tranquil ambiance, offering the perfect setting for unwinding and enjoying your holiday in peace.
Villa Petra is well appointed throughout, featuring two spacious bedrooms with en-suite facilities and fully fitted wardrobes. A solid marble staircase leads to the first floor, where each bedroom opens onto a private balcony. These balconies provide breath-taking views, perfect for enjoying a refreshing gin & tonic while marvelling at the spectacular Kefalonian sunsets.
The surrounding area offers an array of facilities, including charming tavernas, restaurants, shops, and some of the island’s best beaches—just a 5-minute drive away.
Villa Petra is an ideal base for exploring all that Kefalonia has to offer. By car (recommended) it is 15 minutes from the airport, and 15 minutes from the main town, Argostoli.

For nine months of the year, we live in Lancashire in the UK. We feel very lucky, as we can enjoy the lush countryside of Lancashire, the Yorkshire Dales, and the Lake District, and then for three months of the year, in two visits, we live at our home from home, Villa Petra on the equally beautiful island of Kefalonia.
Por qué escogió este alojamiento
Villa Petra is on the southern border of the village of Karavados. We like this area, as it has easy access to the airport and Argostoli, each about 15 minutes drive away. The area has a number of great tavernas and restaurants, and is a good base for touring the island. We like it so much, we come over twice a year, staying for six weeks at a time.
Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial
Villa Petra is in a quiet area, with lots of privacy. The views from the balconies are breathtaking, both of Mount Ainos, and the Ionian Sea, from which you can see the neighbouring island of Zakynthos, also known as Zante. The villa has a mature garden, and is completely surrounded by a stone wall and hedge.
