Acerca de este alojamiento
Swallow at Sweffling Hall
Nesteled between Framlingham, Southwold and Aldeburgh, The Lantern and Larks glamping site in Sweffling is perfectly located for discovering the Suffolk coast. Offering comfortable beds, firepit and hot showers, these six safari tents provide luxury after an adventuorus day in the great outdoors. These safari tents are available to book separately or all together, making them a great option for groups of all sizes.
Each of these glamping tents accommodates up to six guests, with three bedrooms that each sleep two. There is one king-size bedroom, one twin room, and one bunk room per tent. A travel cot can be hired on request, and will fit into any of the bedrooms.
An abundance of on-site activities are available to book in advance, including nature meditation, forest bathing, beachcombing, astronomy sessions and a horse and cart ride. Please see further details in the Additional Information section.
Sweffling is the ideal setting for luxury glamping as a couple, or with the whole family. The Blyth estuary enters the sea at Southwold which is home to Adnams ales. The marshland is home to a veritable A to W of wildfowl, from Avocet to Wigeon, via Dunlin and Knot. To the south, inland Woodbridge is a centre for sailing and other waterborne excursions on the tidal River Deben, that spills gently into the sea above Felixstowe.
Between them, the Alde opens up at Snape, where the Maltings deserve a big tick from visitors young and old. The estuary meanders through marshland and reed banks towards Aldeburgh, one of the most picturesque small fishing towns set between reed and wave. Enjoy outstanding fish 'n' chips along the Suffolk Coast, washed down with the finest of ales, and discuss poignancy of Maggi Hambling's 'Scallop', or perhaps just skim stones on the North Sea. All are within easy reach of Sweffling glamping site.
30 minutes from Sweffling glamping site at Lantern and Larks, the traditional seaside town of Southwold is just the place for a day on the beach. With a sandy beach and famous pier, there is no better spot for enjoying an ice cream or a game in the arcade! You can also browse the many shops, tour the lighthouse and pop into the Adnams Brewery. Don’t forget to pick up a bottle of something to enjoy round the firepit upon your return to your luxury safari tent.
For larger groups, check out the other tents; Cuckoo, Kestrel, Linnet, Skylark and Swift.
