Outdoor Description
Exmoor View Log Cabin is set within its own enclosed garden in a picturesque corner of Devon, offering peace, privacy and far-reaching views across open countryside towards Exmoor. It's one of two identical cabins positioned on opposite sides of a meadow, each is carefully placed to ensure guests can enjoy complete seclusion.
The gravel area at ground level features a private electric hot tub, fire pit, and a table and chairs for outdoor dining. A set of steps leads up to the cabin and its raised decking area, where deck chairs provide the perfect place to relax and take in the sweeping views over Exmoor.
The hot tub is ready and waiting on arrival - no heating required - offering a peaceful soak after a day exploring. Guests are advised to bring flip flops or similar for crossing the gravel and decking, which may become slippery when wet.
The path to the cabin is lit for easy access after dark.
The owners live nearby on the farm, they will be available to assist if you need it, but will otherwise leave to your own devices.
Please note, the property is on a working farm, so there may be livestock or machinery nearby, and the ground can be damp or uneven underfoot.
Parking
There is a private, off-road parking area located just off the lane. From here, a short walk leads to the log cabin through a gate marked Exmoor and along a well-trodden path across the field. The route is lit by several pillar lights and may be uneven underfoot, so a torch and suitable footwear are recommended, especially in wet or low-light conditions.
Pets Description
This property does not accept pets.
Restricted mobility
This property is unsuitable for wheelchair users and limited mobility due to steps and uneven ground
Exit in case of emergency
Please exit through the front door onto the decking area and exit the property along the path to the parking area.
Christmas / New Year
A festive Christmas wreath adorns the front door and fairy lights twinkle around the garden area at night.
