A pesar de ser un apartamento con jardín, esta casa cuenta con techos altos y una gran luz natural, ideal para los viajeros que desean desconectar con los sonidos del encantador Forsyth Park. Our door code didn’t work initially, but the property was responsive and we got into the room in no time. It was a perfect spot to be able to walk around the city

Studio near the Park

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property was comfortable and clean. However the check in experience was poor as I as given the wrong code. And I was uncomfortable with the fact that access to the apartment was available to the other part of the home (no locks on the doors).

We were very happy with our choice of this apartment because of its convenient walkable location to Forsyth Park and Bull Street for walking to downtown. The location is quiet and peaceful however depending on who has booked the rooms above and beside you may effect your experience… similar to a thinly walled hotel. The room was cleaned well, with the exception of a few bits of trash from a previous tenant under the bed which we discover when checking to make sure we had not left anything behind. The furniture had all of the “practical” pieces including a full sized coffee pot w/filters however it’s a shame they had not been upgraded to less scratched, water stained tables since the room itself had been renovated. In addition it would have been nice to have a small loveseat instead of just the desk chair and ottoman to chill on. Overall, we were very glad we chose this room and would recommend it.

It's is about a mile and a half to River St where all of the activities are. Street parking was abundant during my stay on Halloween weekend.

Reviewer Comments: The Howard Grande Garden has a great location and was clean and professionally managed but it was difficult to sleep at night without some noise reduction on my iPhone because of poor acoustics in a unit above mine. Movement and conversations from above were loudly distractive in my unit below until approx. 10:30 Friday night, midnight Saturday night and well after 1AM Sunday night.

In the last few days, the guests upstairs had children running back and forth all night, which made it difficult for me to get enough rest and impacted my ability to get up for work the following days.I initially chose Lucky because it was advertised as business suites, which seemed perfect for my needs. I came to Savannah to spend time with my daughter and to work, so the location was ideal.

I will start with the positive. The location was great as we enjoyed being right by the park, and liked walking to all the sights and restaurants. The bathroom was decent sized. The mattress was in a zippered protector. The fitted sheet was too small and would slip off in the night though. While things looked clean, the used bar of soap with hair in it in the showered created some doubt. The room has limited outlets. There is a coffee maker (not Kuerig pictured) but no where to plug it in and the cord is very short. You get one coffee filter (no coffee), some sweetener, sugar and powdered creamer. There are no mugs or cups. I really believe there was a toaster listed, but they told me no despite there being a box in the closet for one. There was no hair dryer, so they had to bring one over. When we arrived, the door to the other unit above was unlocked. We had to call to get it locked. It was my second call within minutes as the code I had screenshotted did not work. We had two quiet days while the unit upstairs was empty, but it was so loud once a family of four arrived. You could hear everything. There is a light in the other unit just outside our unit that is glaring if they forget to turn it off. Ironically the porch light outside is very faint as only one of three lights works. Not super safe. As if that’s not enough, the toilet started leaking. We left for three hours and still had to wait when we came back for it to be finished. It leaked again the next day. My expectations were not high to begin with as I booked a room on short notice and I knew it was a small, basic room. I was still tremendously disappointed but fortunately we were rarely in the room and the rest of Savannah made up for it.

This property was just fine for myself - I wouldn't suggest more than 1 person staying here; the bed wasn't that comfortable. Location was perfect; I felt safe. Forsyth park is right behind the property. Everything was clean, EXCEPT the toilet - it was DISGUSTING. It made me wonder if the rest of the room was even cleaned recently. Couldn't have been. If the room description boasts about recently upgraded cleaning efforts, the room should reflect that.

It was in a great location in the Historic Area (a block from Forsythe Park) on a quiet street, and central to transportation. The only suggestion I would make is to put a microwave in the Garden Suite and maybe provide some K- cups or a reusable K- cup filter for the machine.

Small hotel-like room

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The place was very clean and easy to access. It is small and feels like a very small hotel room. Parking was easy and free. Because it seems like it is just a lower living area locked off from upstairs unit, you can hear everything as clear as if people upstairs are sitting right next to you. There is nowhere to sit other than on the bed or on an office chair. I think a small couch would be a better choice than a desk/chair in that area. TV is so small it is hard to see from across room while lying in bed - a small couch or larger TV would correct that. Management of rental was extremely friendly and helpful. I would definitely use LuckySavannah again but would opt for a more comfortable unit. This place is perfect for a couple or single person looking for a clean room to sleep and shower

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall not bad. There were two issues that was a little too much. The first, the upstairs was very loud. It was not their fault, but you heard every step and every conversation. If the people live upstairs and are renting out their bottom floor, their customer service sucks! They have to understand that people are paying to stay on a relaxation vacation and not wanting to wake up when they wake up! The second is the AIR, it took forever to cool down and was very warm. Honestly, the place was clean and very close to the area. With the abundant amount of AirBNB, I would suggest finding one that is not below someone.

There was a little confusion as the outside door was locked and the other guests upstairs had laid claim to the room before we got there. The door to upstairs was unlocked so they thought the area was theirs as well. The property management company sent someone to fix the issue very quickly.
