Cabaña Los Tucanes - Paraíso Para Parejas!

Increíble paraíso en medio de la selva tropical, más de 64000 pies cuadrados para explorar, disfrutar y relajarse. Encontrarás la paz que estás buscando con un pequeño riachuelo al lado de donde nadarás en las aguas cristalinas, muchas flores, pájaros, ranas y nuestra cómoda cabaña de hasta 4 personas. Se recomienda principalmente para parejas de todas las edades o familias que quieran estar fuera de la ciudad, pero lo suficientemente cerca para explorar todas las atracciones del volcán Arenal.
La cabaña está totalmente equipada con ropa de cama, toallas, área de cocina, baño privado con agua caliente, caja de seguridad, una cama king size y dos camas individuales en el segundo piso especial para niños pequeños. La propiedad es solo para ti, no hay nadie más, así que tendrás privacidad en esta propiedad aislada y mágica, toda la casa tiene pantallas para que no tengas que preocuparte por los bichos, salir y en cualquier lugar es mejor que te lleven chinches.

Lovely garden and private grounds with a creek running through the property, the house was kept cool with air conditioning, the beds comfortable and a charming loft for my son to have his own space (something hotels these days do not offer). The owner was responsive and thoughtful and the friendly neighborhood cat was an added bonus and free entertainment.

We really enjoyed our stay but there were some issues with functionality of some of the amenities and we didn’t get a response when we reported that the toaster oven was not working. The grill was also not working. We didn’t let those things deter us from enjoying our stay. The grounds are beautiful and the outdoor deck area is incredible for just relaxing in the mornings and evenings. The air conditioning functioned well and the beds were comfortable. I would definitely recommend to a friend with the awareness that not everything will be perfect.

Lovely setting; quiet, peaceful, and good location. The bed was comfortable, AC was great, and shower was hot. Did not like the dim lighting in the bathroom. Requested help with the toaster oven because it didn't work on day 2 morning but nothing was done.

We loved being more in the country, we didn’t realize the property was so large, it was a very happy surprise. The cabin was comfortable, had everything we needed, and very close to town. Our favorite soda was just down the street. Quite, peaceful, would stay here again in a heartbeat. I almost don’t want to review so others don’t find this hidden gem!

Cabin was cozy but the property had not been up kept in a while with all the leaves /debris and the kitchen table and utensils were lacking. I had to figure out how to access the WiFi myself and the check-in instructions were not sent to me until i reached out myself.

The location was great - close to town yet still secluded. We loved the private deck and hot tub! The yard was amazing with the little creek and pond, we saw so much wildlife just at the property! The room was perfect for us as a couple on our honeymoon. We loved it and would definitely stay again.

Our challenge was that one of us had a bad cough. The extreme dampness was too much, we left after one night of a 4 night stay. Recommend the host invest in a good dehumidifier, and some luggage racks.

The good: amazing area. Cute spot. Nice seclusion. Comfy bed. Very responsive host. Wonderful landscape.The bad: the lighting in the cabin is awful. Like some previous people mentioned, the kitchen is not a fully stocked kitchen and is missing some staple items (oven - toaster oven did not work, there’s no hot pads, no paper towels). There’s no hot water in the kitchen sink most of the time. The hot tub does not take 20 minutes to heat up like the instructions state - but more like 90 minutes.

Very clean. Responsive hosts. Amazing secluded location and beautiful grounds, yet close enough to town center. Great beds and towels, strong AC if needed. Lovely outside decking and seating. kitchen is sufficient and exterior dining facilities are plentiful, etc. Only suggestions would be to have a couple of chairs or a small sofa indoors for downtime in the evening or to watch TV and sit to put on shoes, etc. Also could put tv on swing arm to enable viewing from bed since there were no chairs. Loft and loft ladder worked for a young adult, but ceiling height is low.

We really enjoyed staying here!

We enjoyed staying here it was nice and cozy and well kept. The location was good as well! It's a bit outside of La fortuna but close enough to be convenient.

Beautiful stay

Very peaceful, private property with beautiful landscaping. Enjoyed the back porch with the grill, jacuzzi, and outdoor seating to eat and relax. Nice path around house to look at flowers and creek.
