Hello! We’re Renske and Tim, and we warmly welcome you to Amsterdam BB (Bed&Boat), our cozy and modern b&b located on our houseboat, Kadans. Nestled on the peaceful KNSM Island at Levantkade, our home offers the unique experience of staying on the water while still being close to the heart of Amsterdam.



Our private boat suite on Kadans is designed with comfort and relaxation in mind. You’ll find everything you need for a perfect stay, including a comfortable double bed, a private bathroom, and a cozy seating area where you can unwind after a day of exploring the city. One of the highlights is your own private terrace on the deck, where you can enjoy a quiet morning sun coffee or a sunset drink, with beautiful views of the waterfront.



We’ve created Amsterdam BB as a special place to share our love for life on the water, and we’re excited to host guests who want to experience something a little different during their time in Amsterdam. Whether you’re here to explore the city’s rich history or simply relax and enjoy the views, we’ll make sure your stay is unforgettable.

The Boathouse Suite was so much more than expected. The only hiccups were mine (beyond my control). Tim & Renske were so understanding (I was stressed but they were chill). We arrived in Amsterdam early Sunday morning -directions on point and easy to follow. Using public transit, we only needed to walk 5 minutes to their property. The canal was quiet when we arrived. What a charming neighbourhood! Tim greeted us. Bright, colourful flowers on their walkway seemed to bask in the morning sun. After helping carry our bags, (which they graciously housed until check-in), we were treated to a cold drink and few moments to get our tourist legs going. The space was ready early -several hours before check-in, much appreciated. We found the space exactly as advertised (better actually). We boarded the houseboat and descended the staircase where we entered the rental space on the right (Tim, Renske & Coco’s living space is on the left). Quite obviously newly renovated, the space is bright, clean and the perfect size, with all the houseboat vibes. The comfortable loft bed is easy to access with sturdy stairs. The bathroom is bright and spacious, with a very generously sized shower area and the living space is welcoming. The above deck outdoor area has a lovely sitting space. You can swim or SUP in the canal. I Would highly recommend this space. It was a rather idyllic end to a long busy vacation. Yes, idyllic - right down to the heart-embossed toilet tissue (honest)! Thx again!
