The sandy beach at Readymoney Cove is just 1/2 mile away, and you can pick up the South West Coast Path or the All Saints Way from the end of the garden, or take the ferry from Fowey to Bodinnick and stride out on the 4-mile Hall Walk, catching the passenger ferry back from Polruan. The world-famous Eden Project, with its biomes, gardens and zip line, is just 5.5 miles away, and Charlestown Harbour, with its impressive tall ships, is 6 miles away. For garden lovers, The Lost Gardens of Heligan are 13.5 miles away.

There are three steps leading down to the apartment from the car park, into your tranquil hideaway. Now you can start to completely relax: settle into the comfortable seating and enjoy the entrancing view of the award-winning gardens that surround the apartment. When night falls, you can draw the curtains and switch on the Smart TV, streaming your favourite box sets and movies. This open-plan space is also home to a compact kitchen area, where you’ll have a two-ring hob and a combination microwave/oven for preparing romantic meals, with a dishwasher to make cleaning up super-easy. A dining table for two completes this welcoming room. The king-size bedroom is calm and cosy, with pretty linens and pictures on the walls. You’ll also have the benefit of an en-suite shower room.

When it’s too lovely to sit indoors, the apartment opens with level access through French doors onto a south-facing patio, where you can drink and dine alfresco, whether it’s a morning coffee or a delicious supper made using locally bought treats. Beyond, the shared gardens are a delight, and you’ll find areas where you can sit and enjoy the fresh air among the beautiful planting. On the site there’s also a sauna, as well as a heated swimming pool with a retractable roof, allowing for a few lengths whatever the weather. Simply pre-book your private, one-hour slot each day.
