Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was a little dated and the carpet needed to be replaced or at least cleaned. The smaller bedroom smelled like urine. The kitchen was adequately stocked. It was great that the unit had beach chairs that we could use. Keep in mind that the unit is not available until 4:00 PM, which is difficult if you have an early morning flight.

Great spot

Excellent spot across from Kamaole Beach Park Property has nice pool, small exercise room and game room Only concern was that we called the rental company several times about a lightbulb that was flashing in the kitchen, and didn’t get the responsiveness until we went online. Even then the maintenance person was unable to fix it.

Our getaway to relaxation

Wasn't so relaxing....on the go everyday. Property was nice, good location, office staff were the best. This was much better than a hotel, 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with good size living area. Only drawback was the master bedroom, the bed was firm and a little noisy when you move around. Rent this place!

Spacious and Comfortable - Beautifully decorated.

The AC was a welcome change, and there are three units, so each room has flexibility. The kitchen was clean and practical for cooking (for one person), and there was plenty of space. I was worried about being “too far” from things in the back corner, but it was actually nice and quiet. We had a little more privacy than other units, and it was still only a couple minute walk to the beach.

This time however we were not as impressed with the unit. It was perfect for the size, loved the location as it was very quiet but it is very dated and could use a little TLC and updating. It did not change our vacation as it was fabulous and the Maui Condo and Home, LLC people were excellent to work with. I highly recommend Kamaole Sands and will stay again there in the future.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Not very good. Found a cockroach in the living room, when I called to report it. I was asked... okay what do you want us to do?Really id like a little compassion and empathy. Not a snotty attitude. The floor had gross stains on the carpet and well as smelly sheets. The washing machine was also horrible smelling.

Lovely quiet spot for a family beach break

Property was wonderful - clean, quiet and well-maintained and very close to the beach (Kamaole Beach Park II). The staff was really helpful at check-in and throughout the trip and the facilities (especially the pool) were a big hit with our kids. Great spot for a family trip!

December 2021 Stay

We have stayed at Kamaole Sands several times over the years and love the property and it’s location in Kehei. We had unit 8-105 which was perfect for our family. It is a ways from the pool but it is also quiet. We did feel the unit could use a little TLC and updating. Carpets are stained and bath towels are old and dingy but we were still very comfortable there and had a great time.

The condo was great, having a code for the door was really nice. Everything was clean, but having some more instructions on where to throw the trash and recycle out etc. would have been nice. Nice unit all in all!

January 2018 Stay

First of all I use a walker for a terminal illness and needed to book a ground-floor unit, unfortunately this unit felt like a cave and was basically the furthest building away from the only pool they have on the property, which meant I had to walk through two parking lots and down steep slopes to get to the pool, also the bathroom light in the spare bathroom did not work for five days and they would not refund me or credit me any amount of money for this inconvenience. There was also a red ants all over the Lenai that I had to take care of myself which looked on to a dead tree, was horrible view. I will never say at this property again nor will I deal with this company again.

Great condo and location!

Clean, well equipped. Excellent resort and location right across from the beach. The condo had almost everything except beach chairs or any beach items to use. This would be a great addition! The only complaint about the actual condo was the king bed is extremely loud/creaky, it was comfortable just loud. When I or my husband would roll over it would wake the other person up. This was a big down side with having our little one in our room. Everything else was great. Excellent location, love the property, clean unit. Would stay again.

Very Clean, Updated and A/C cold. Fully furnished with all home needs, beds extremely comfortable, MCH are knowledgeable and prompt with replies. unit is quite and relaxed with easy access to beach-5 min walk , pool and amenities great with Wednesday night activities, friendly guests and Sercurity a plus. would and have highly recommend this unit. ask for unit 8-105. 2b-2 baths, plenty of room for our friends and family. Loved our stay and will re book.

December 2017 Stay

It ruin my family’s trip when we first got their the room was flooded it smelled bad then we got moved to a nicer room then for a couple of days then they rushed us out of that room not a enough time to pack and get everything we had without getting rushed out. Then they put us back in the same room as we first started off with it still smelled and and the dish washer was flooded with mold in it and they wouldn’t even let us get in the outside door with the beach chairs and stuff like that. And the customer support was just awful.
