This was a great find, amidst all the other locations nearby. It was so clean, well stocked and quite private. Love being able to walk through the nice landscaping on the property and a short walk to the beach. Zero complaints, all good!

Great last minute stay

We booked this unit two days before our arrival, and they were nothing but accommodating and gracious to us with flight changes and other travel issues. Will definitely stay here again!

100% would stay here again. It’s in a perfect location and everything was so smooth and easy. The condo was clean, equipped with everything you need, and a great place to relax between sightseeing. While not a beach view, I loved the green grassy space outside of the condo. Plus it was a very short walk to the beach and an even shorter walk to the pool. I highly recommend.

Wonderful getaway

Loved the ground unit and proximity to the beach. Great amenities in this unit. It would have been a bit nicer if there were 6 barstools so we all could sit for any meals. A small detail as everything else was great. Thanks for a wonderful stay. Will stay here again.

Perfect unit for small family

This is our third stay at Kamaole Sands and is by far our favorite unit. The two bedrooms is a must with a little one and the abundance in beach gear was a great surprise. I would highly recommend this unit for a small family - it is everything you need and more. We’ll definitely be coming back here when we visit next.

Amazing condo, perfect location

We had a wonderful stay in Maui. The accommodations surpassed our expectations and we would recommend this unit to anyone looking to visit Maui. The bedrooms are very comfortable and the air conditioning works perfectly. There were a few small items missing in the kitchen but a quick text to Matt and the issue was resolved. Thank you!

Had all we needed for all different age groups!

This unit was perfect for our family. It was on the first floor-perfect for my parents; they were able to get to unit with less walking. Perfect for children; they walked right out of the balcony to play and get to the pool. It was in a great location- accross the street the beach; then walking out to the beach and to our left a great strip for running. If you went to the right, it was filled with shops and places to eat with choices for the whole family. Above all, we loved that the unit had everything we needed- especially the wagon of beach necesities.

Beautiful location - nicely furnished

We had a wonderful stay. The condo is in a great location convenient to all of Kihei. Within the development, it is set back from all the roads so generally very quiet. We took advantage of the pool and grills on the property which were a great asset. We were very thankful to have beach chairs, towels, umbrella and especially the wagon to haul things to the beach. I love a ground floor unit that you can walk right out of. This lanai is set back in farther from other making it very private nice landscaping around it. Our son slept on the pull out sofa which wasn't very comfortable. But I guess that's the nature of sofa sleepers.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property is located right behind the pool. Good for toodling around during the day with a toddler. Smaller lanai, but good enough. Love the ground floor access. You get your steps going to the beach, which about 1km there and back, great for burning off pina colada’s. Loved the blender and well equipped kitchen. Kamaole Sands never disappoints. We rented a toddler bed and stroller and beach wagon which made our stay complete. Clean and comfy condo. King bed was very comfortable!

It was well equipped with kitchen needs and tons of beach toys, chairs, etc. My only compliant is the cleanliness of the condo. When we arrived, it was clear the floors had not been properly cleaned. There was sand in the bedroom and the kitchen had food on it. I had to buy cleaning supplies to hand mop the floor as this was not supplied.

Amazing Place

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is our second time staying in this unit in five years. The remodel is a really nice touch; everything looked new or brand new. It's location on the lawn and proximity to the pool are just fantastic. Our only complaint is that we didn't stay a few nights longer. I really liked how the unit had plenty of garbage bags, soaps, detergents, beach gear, and some basic spices and condiments; those things aren't so fun to purchase on a short vacation. The management company, PMI, is really responsive and was kind enough to lend a crib and high chair; we stay at a fair number of VRBO and have seen the spectrum. We will for sure come back to Kamaole Sands and would make a point of returning to this particular unit if it worked out.
