Kamaole Sands unit 6-302 was fully remodeled in September 2019, this bright one bedroom, two full bathroom retreat awaits you. Enjoy views of the Pacific from your third story lanai, freshly prepared meals in your fully stocked kitchen and a cool, comfortable evening thanks to the split a/c system.

The space
The custom designed bedroom provides natural light while maintaining privacy. Both the en suite and guest bathrooms have been constructed with ambiance and practicality in mind. The open air kitchen features brand new stainless steel appliances, granite countertops and breakfast bar with seating for four. The coastal themed living area includes a comfortable pull-out sofa facing your 55” Smart TV, along with a custom built desk space. Step outside and enjoy morning coffee on your shaded, ocean view lanai.

Located in the heart of South Kihei, Kamaole Sands sits just across the street from Kamaole Beach Park 3. This beach is known for excellent swimming, snorkeling and boogie boarding. The open, grassy knoll is a famous spot for captivating sunsets and seasonal whale watching. Catch an early morning boat ride to Molokini from Kihei Boat Ramp, a short walk from the complex. Also nearby you will find an array of restaurants, gift shops, grocery stores and sports bars to catch your game. Just south, Wailea resort town boasts fine dining, luxury shops and world class golf courses. The TV in bedroom has been removed.

Kamaole Sands is one of South Maui’s premiere resort communities, offering amenities such as beautifully landscaped grounds, multiple elevators, on-site activity concierge, fitness center, recreation area, BBQ grills, swimming pool and hot tub.

Enjoy one of the world’s most coveted travel destinations in this professionally designed, well-appointed space.

The complex is in the process of redoing the roofs on the buildings in the complex. This is going on from now to December of 2025. This building is scheduled to be done April to June of 2025 and will be closed during the time they are working on this building. The rest of the work on the resort should not interrupt the building this unit is in.

There is a one time resort fee of around $42 due upon arrival to the front office.

We enjoyed our stay in Kihei and this condo had a prime location with easy access to some of the best beaches. Easy drive into both Kihei and Wailea for restaurants. We thoroughly enjoyed having access to the beach chairs, towels, and umbrella. Also having in unit washer & dryer was super valuable to us. Our only issue was a lack of hot water-there wasn’t enough hot water to last one person a 10 minute shower. Host was very responsive. While check in ended up being easy, it wasn’t super clear to us that we had to stop at the Kamaole Sands concierge desk before heading to the unit.

We really enjoyed our stay! The condo was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. We appreciated having the beach towels, chairs and boogie boards available. One thing that could be improved was the check in process with the property. We stopped in after a long travel day to pay the AOA fee and the process took almost an hour (which included waiting in line). I understand we may have just hit it at a bad time, but all of the check in details (and even payment) could have been collected electronically. I know this has nothing to do with the owner (and is specific to how the property does business) and we will absolutely recommend this spot to friends and family!

Awesome place! There's great a/c, comfortable beds, a well-stocked kitchen, a laundry center, clean bathrooms, and even some beach items. I spent a few days here, and it was nice to come back to this home after long days, or just stay in and lounge around. It was also CLEAN in every part, and felt like home. Beach is right across the street, and food places and stores are not too far away. Would definitely stay here again and again.

Great location, the host was always kind and helpful with any questions we had! Amazing grounds and beautiful place. Some kitchen appliances that were needed were not provided but that was no problem. Overall we had an amazing time and hope to be back soon!

The location was awesome, Kamaole Sands grounds were beautiful and well maintained, and the condo is really nice. The communication with the host was great, with quick responses. We were able to extend our stay by one day, which we appreciated.Apartment was beautifully renovated and well stocked, the only thing we did not find in the kitchen was tongs. It was mostly clean, with just a few spots missed; for example, we found some dirty spoons that were obviously used and just put back in a kitchen drawer without being washed (most likely by the previous guests), or some hair that was not ours in the main bathroom. The owner provided a beach umbrella, chairs and a boogie board, which was appreciated. Some of the chairs and the umbrella will need to be replaced soon. These things are minor and did not deter from our stay. Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely come back.The only thing I did not like was receiving at least 2 messages asking for a 5-star review before we even arrived. The condo speaks for itself, so this was not necessary. As an analyst and a researcher, I know asking for 5-star review upfront may actually deter people from rating the place in the first place. :)

Beautiful Clean place

Everything was perfect and beautiful. I had 2 safety issues though. The jealousy turn knob does not fully close the window and can just be pulled right off. We wete ok but maybe that should be fixed to ensure no one can break in. Also the glass Tupperware in the drawer apparently was cracked and i didnt notice that so when i washed it it sliced my finger and i was bleeding pretty bad. I looked in the firat aid kit in the drawer only to find that thwre was nothi g but 2 pairs of gloves. I had ro stop the bleeding witb paper towels and tied a cut tshirt around my finger to use as a bandaid. Those should be replaced. Byt other thank that everything else was perfecr and we will stay again

Modern condo in a great location!

The condo was clean and had all of the items we needed for an Aloha experience. The kitchen was our favorite! The grounds were beautiful, and the pool and bbq areas were immaculate. We really enjoyed ourselves. Great communication from the owners as well! Mahalo, Joe.

Awesome family stay!

We had such a wonderful time at this unit. It was in a great location for enjoying the beaches of Wailea and Kihei. The kids loved the pool and the property was beautiful. The unit is nicely updated! Very quiet considering not an end unit or top floor unit. Our host was quick to respond to a few inquiries we had at the beginning of our stay. We can’t wait to come back again soon

Wonderful Stay in Kihei!

We absolutely loved our stay here--it was a great start to our wonderful Maui vacation! The location in the heart of Kihei was great--near the beach, restaurants, and shops. The unit is beautifully decorated in a calming and relaxing style. The kitchen felt brand new, and was stocked with everything we needed to cook or prepare a meal. Beach chairs, towels, and snorkel equipment were also a great unexpected benefit. We loved eating breakfast on the lanai, and had a great view from there of the Kamaole Sands' complex.

Amazing 7-night Stay!

We could not emphasize enough how great our stay was at Joe’s place. We frequently enjoyed the morning breeze on the lanai, equipped with a couple chairs and a table. If we wanted to have breakfast or any meal, Joe’s place had all of the necessary items such as cups, plates, pans, pots, utensils, etc. Ultimately, we felt right at home. Not to mention, there were beginning supplies of toilet paper, paper towels, laundry detergent, and much more so we did not have to make a trip to the groceries which we highly appreciate. If you’re looking for a place to stay in Maui, please do not hesitate to book Joe’s place as it really has everything you would need as a home base while providing ample comfort. We also appreciate Joe’s response time and always being willing to help. Additionally, the property has a pool, hot tub, and tennis/pickleball courts (must reserve time slots). We also really loved the location, as it was walkable to the local areas and a short 5-10 minute drive to the Wailea areas. Overall, we would 100% come back to Joe’s and can’t wait to be back!

Clean, remodeled, comfortable, accessible

We had a wonderful stay with my family at Joe's place. The listing is accurate and the place has been recently beautifully remodeled. Spacious bedroom, baths and big living area with pullout sofa. Very clean, and stocked with utensils even some food items like spices, coffee etc.The place had everything we needed for our stay. 4 mins walk to the beach. Joe was super responsive anytime we had a question. As we go to Maui almost every Thanksgiving, I'll be looking for this property again, no doubt.

Vacation

Stayed here with 2 friends for 6 nights. Lovely accommodation very close to the beach. Everything you need, especially a very well equipped kitchen in case you love to cook. Would book it again.
