Located in the picturesque village of Selva, this property is the perfect balance between contemporary comfort and respect for the island`s rural heritage.

From the terrace or the gardens, you can watch our horses and sheep, which inhabit the estate and contribute to that atmosphere of peace and authenticity that is so difficult to find nowadays.

Outdoor spaces to remember: We have a private swimming pool surrounded by native vegetation and palm trees, the ideal place to cool off after a day of exploration. The porch, presided over by an old restored cart, is the favourite spot for enjoying al fresco dinners while watching the sunset over the countryside.

As there are animals on the estate, you may see someone in the horse area.
The owner lives in the house next door.

Selva is one of the world`s epicentres for cycling, being the gateway to some of the most spectacular mountain routes in Europe. If you prefer hiking, from the estate itself you can set off on routes that take you deep into holm oak forests, discovering the native flora and fauna in an environment of absolute silence.
A Village with Soul The centre of Selva, just a few minutes away, is a display of traditional architecture with cobbled streets and stone houses. Its majestic church of Sant Llorenç presides over a village that lives to the rhythm of the seasons. Here you can enjoy the local cuisine in its cosy restaurants, taste the local olive oil or visit the weekly market to buy fresh produce directly from local farmers.
Strategic Connectivity The best thing about this area is its balance: you will be immersed in the deepest rural calm, but with excellent connectivity. In just 5 minutes you can reach Inca, the city of footwear and leather, and in less than 30 minutes you can be enjoying the crystal-clear waters of Alcúdia Bay or strolling through the cosmopolitan streets of Palma.
Staying in this area means choosing a different Mallorca: one of the sounds of the countryside, the pure air of the mountains and the genuine hospitality of a town that welcomes you with open arms.

To fully enjoy the experience at Can Frontera and explore the treasures surrounding Selva, it is essential to have your own car or a rental car. As we are located in an authentic and protected rural setting, mobility depends on private vehicles to guarantee you total freedom. Here are the reasons why:
Exploring the island: Although Selva is a paradise for relaxation, if you want to visit the coves in the north (such as Alcúdia or Pollença), the neighbouring villages of the Tramuntana mountains or travel to Palma, a car is the only quick and efficient option.
Services and shopping: For large purchases in the neighbouring town of Inca (only 5-7 minutes away) or visiting restaurants in nearby villages, a vehicle will allow you to get around in complete comfort.
Limited taxi service: It is important to note that there is only one taxi operating in the village of Selva. Due to this limited availability, it is not advisable to rely on this service for daily or last-minute trips, especially in high season.
Parking: You won`t have to worry about parking; the estate offers enough space to park your vehicle safely within the property.
For sports enthusiasts: If your main plan is cycling, you will be in the perfect place. You can set off directly from the house on two wheels to conquer the mountain passes of the Sierra. However, even for cyclists, we recommend a support car for airport transfers or leisure excursions.
In summary: For a stress-free stay and to discover the true magic of Mallorca at your own pace, we recommend picking up a hire car at the airport upon arrival.
