• Security deposit / Damage waiver: Choose either a refundable £300 security deposit (card hold released within 7 days after your stay if no damage is reported) or a small, non-refundable damage-waiver fee that covers accidental damage up to a set limit. Full instructions are provided after booking.

• 72-hour window: These steps must be completed at least 3 days before check-in, or the reservation may be cancelled for security reasons (we’ll send reminders to avoid any issues).

• Why we require this: Professional screening and damage protection help keep the home safe and provide peace of mind for everyone.

The apartment is in a good location, a good size and reasonably well-equipped. It was let down by having a number of cleaning and maintenance issues, including the blind in the main bedroom was missing so it was impossible to sleep in there on the first night. The management company were alerted and seemed responsive, but it took 24 hours to fix a new blind, and the extra cleaning visit did not cover all the issues. Overall, if the management company cleans or replaces the stained carpets, and ensures a check is done of the cleanliness before check-in, then the apartment would be recommended.
