A short pedestrian path leads up to the front door under a covered porch, which opens into a grand entrance hall that gives an immediate sense of the house's character - high ceilings, generous space and plenty of natural light. The ground floor offers everything a large group needs: a fully equipped kitchen with modern appliances suited to cooking for a crowd, and a dining room with a large table comfortably seating all 10 guests. Two separate reception rooms mean there's always space to spread out - the sitting room looks out over the gardens and has plenty of seating, while the TV lounge is the place to settle in for a relaxed evening with its comfortable sofas and Smart TV.
All five bedrooms are on the first floor, each with its own TV and en-suite bathroom or shower room. Three rooms have a shower over the bath, and two have a shower only.
Outside, the property sits within around 1.5 acres of grounds shared with the owners, who occupy a separate wing, and two further holiday cottages on the site. It's a peaceful, well-kept space with lawned areas, established trees and seating dotted throughout. Dogs are well catered for with a dedicated enclosed area complete with a picnic bench. The grounds back onto an orchard and open fields where alpacas graze - a lovely backdrop that adds to the rural feel of the place.
Indoor Description The kitchen is well-equipped with a Rangemaster with gas hob and electric ovens, microwave, large fridge, large freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. Other equipment includes toaster, kettle, a variety of kitchen utensils, cutlery, crockery and glasses.
Electricity and heating costs are included in the price of your accommodation, and wifi is available throughout.
Bed linen, duvets, blankets and towels are provided for your convenience, but please bring your own beach towels if you wish to take towels with you on day trips.
A small amount of tea, coffee, sugar, milk and biscuits are provided to ensure you can have a hot drink as soon as you arrive. The house is equipped with salt and pepper mills and some cleaning materials to get you started and one or two toilet rolls will also be provided per toilet.
Outdoor Description Cedar Grange is an impressive property set within approximately 1.5 acres of beautifully maintained, mature gardens. The expansive lawns are framed by established trees, with thoughtfully positioned seating areas perfect for outdoor dining or a quiet morning coffee to take in the view across the countryside towards to coast. There is an enclosed, private garden area with a picnic bench where your dogs can be let off. From the grounds, you may even glimpse the West Somerset Steam Railway passing by. The coast at Blue Anchor is just one mile away for beach walks and sea air (and is dog friendly all year).
The main gardens are not enclosed and the driveway provides access to two other smaller holiday properties on the same site, and the owners quarters.
Parking There is ample off-road parking within the grounds of the property.

The region Old Cleeve is a peaceful village on the edge of Exmoor National Park, tucked between the harbour town of Watchet and the seaside resort of Minehead along the A39.

The neighbouring hamlet of Washford, a short walk away, is home to Cleeve Abbey, one of the finest medieval monasteries in England, cared for by English Heritage.
Despite the rural tranquillity, the village is well connected. Washford has two traditional pubs, a cider farm, and a station on the West Somerset Railway. The coastal hamlet of Blue Anchor, approximately one mile to the north, has a sandy beach, a beachfront pub, and a popular cafe. Watchet is approximately 3 miles east, with a working harbour, independent shops, cafes, and a museum. Minehead, approximately 6 miles west, has larger supermarkets (Tesco, Morrisons, and Lidl on the outskirts), petrol stations, and a range of high street shops.
