Pat is so friendly! The accommodations were perfect. The space was roomy and breezy. Being able to simply step out the back door and be on the beach was a dream. We will definitely be back!!

The North Truro private beach rental had the most amazing Bay water views from sun up to sun down while sitting on the chairs on the porch and in the sand or walking the beach. The Bay breeze was felt inside the house through the length of the stay which required no a/c. This was our first time visiting the property will be booking next year. The owners were the nicest and very accommodating.

Beautiful beachfront property

We can’t recommend this beachfront property enough. It’s the perfect retreat for anyone looking to unwind in a serene and picturesque setting. The hosts, Marie and Pat, were wonderful-warm and welcoming. We will definitely be returning for another stay! .

Our June 2023 Truro Beach visit.

Our week long visit was terrific. Marie and Pat had our rental ready when we got there. What stood out immediately was the clenliness of the unit. It was spotless, top to bottem. We were right on the beach, a very short drive into Provincetown, and close to places to eat. We highly recommend this rental. Pat and Marie made themselves available in case we needed anything, which we didn't.

Beautiful place and spectacular location!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The owners, Marie and Pat, were wonderful, the location was to die for, and the unit was just perfect for my husband and me. An extra bonus was that we didn't have to drive our car into Provincetown (which was just a couple of miles up the road) because there was a regularly scheduled shuttle bus that we picked up and were dropped off right at the house!

Wonderful apartment at the sea

It was a wonderful week at the sea. The apartment has everything you need (bring your own towels and sheets, pillos etc). It is a marvelous location and the hosts Pat and Mary are fun and helpful. We shared stories, laughed for an hour right after arrival. This is truely a gem in Cape Cod.

Absolutely Amazing

I cannot say enough about how absolutely wonderful our stay was. Stepping out onto the sand from this incredibly clean and inviting place was a dream. I sat and stared at the bay for hours watching sailboats go by and lazed around in the hammock. Pat and Marie were friendly and made us feel right at home.

Perfect getaway!

We were provided with everything we needed for a stress free weekend. Great location for all the galleries and restaurants in Provincetown. The deck, hammock and bay outside our door- could not have been better!

Not what we expected

A’Lure’N is a lovely space. The property’s best feature is the direct beach access, and why we booked here instead of staying at our family’s two nearby (but not beachfront) homes. We had hoped that a waterside spot would maximize beach time by eliminating the usual accoutrements of traveling on sand with babies. Unfortunately, the experience was not what we had hoped for. The hosts made us feel unwelcome early on, primarily due to miscommunication about their visitor policy, which is not detailed on the VRBO site. In fact, several things were unclear upon booking, including that there are two rental units, and that the owners live on-site. (As of this writing, the former has been clarified on VRBO.) We were only told about the strict guest policy upon arrival. At A’Lure’N, at least for us, guest is defined as any person who visits for any amount of time, even a few minutes. Once aware, I shared our plans to have close family (my elderly parents, sister, and two kids—toddler and infant) visit 2-3 times, a few hours each, over 7 days. We had an unplanned visitor/car on day 1, when my parents got a flat in the property’s driveway, and were told the next morning we were no longer allowed to have guests. This was shouted down from the balcony, spoken in earshot of the other renters (who had guests daily) as if we were bad teenagers. It was awkward for everyone except the hosts, who didn’t seem to mind. They also told us that an extra car, even for 5 minutes, risked them getting a ticket from the town. Concerned, I called the town to verify this, and it’s not accurate. The hosts made comments like “it looks like your mom is moving in,” and told my nephew not to get sand on “[her] floor.” Although the space is listed as kid-friendly, the hosts didn’t seem open to the complexities of beaching with children, and often observed from the balcony above. We are experienced travelers/hosts with properties on CC, NYC, and upstate NY. I’m also a creative exec on a popular int’l travel show, working with hosts daily. This was outside the norms I’ve experienced personally or professionally. We paid more in hopes of affording an extra level of comfort and convenience, but in the end our trip was unnecessarily stressful, and our seemingly modest vacation goals were not met. On a positive note, the hosts care for A’Lure’N meticulously. Older clientele w/o children who don’t mind the impaired privacy of involved owners will feel more welcome here.

This was the perfect get way. Lovely comfortable accommodations with everything one needed and more for a visit to the cape Marie and pat are really great host They are there if needed answered all our questions about the area. But have us our privacy I'd go back in a heart beat. Will send our family and friends. 5 stars for great price on the cape

Takes your breath away

We loved our stay at the A'Lure'N and we are going to come back every summer and if we can we would love to come in the October season. We didn't have to want for anything it was right in the unit, the sunsets was viewed right from the beach or you could stay on your private deck and have a romantic dinner and watch the sunset.

Top shelf all the way !!

Having vacationed in North Truro at various locations for over 30 years , none of the other locations have come close to A Lure N. The unit is immaculate , the kitchen is well stocked with cook ware , cutlery and utensils. The bed is new and comfortable. It is apparent that every possible attention to detail for the comfort of their guests has been addressed by Marie and Pat.Their beautiful deck on the beach with "the million dollar" view is beyond breath taking. Marie and Pat maintain this property with overwhelming pride and will assure that your stay with them is indeed a special and memorable one. Their sense of humor and knowledge of the history of Truro and Provincetown is fun and amazing. The beautiful flower boxes,and plantings on the property all add to the charm of this bay side gem.I can't get back here fast enough every summer to enjoy my favorite little piece of paradise.

"Best Place on the Cape"

We have been vacationing on the Cape for almost 20 years and have been staying here for about 9 years. It is a beautiful location and Marie and Pat take such pride in their ownership. Everything you need is right there. Sleep and wake up to the sound of the water. Swimming, fishing and clamming are great. When you can get a teenager to want to go back every year, it really says something. We love it and highly recommend it. Can't wait till July.

The Best Home Away from Home on Cape Cod Bay

I've been staying here for many years and it is truly a home away from home. The owners are warm and welcoming and maintain everything meticulously. The location is great with Provincetown and The National Seashore nearby. The beach and sunsets are so spectacular you will not want to leave!

BEAUTIFUL & PEACEFUL

My wife and I have been visiting the Cape every year for over 40 years and we have finally come home. The accommodations, the location, and the owners combine to make ones stay beyond pleasant and relaxing. Life is good but when we are here, it's great!

Outstanding

The unit was very clean and tastefully decorated. The Kitchenette was full of all the essentials. Located directly on a private beach; a perfect view of the bay and Provincetown. The owners were very accommodating, and kind. I had a wonderful time, I definitely recommending staying.
