Enjoyed our stay- good location

Enjoyed our stay. Could have been cleaned a lot better in bathroom areas. Furniture very outdated and dirty in living area for being remodeled. The kitchen set up was nice and cable TV in the living area was a plus.

Perfect place for family or friends

This condo was perfect for my husband and I on our wedding weekend. We got married at China Peak and the condo was 2 minutes away from the ceremony location and 6 minutes away from the resort. The condo was very clean and updated. We appreciated the remodel. The water was hot and the air/heater worked great. We would absolutely stay here again!

The condo was very nice. However the house didn’t not have housekeeping, so it was left as the last renters left it. Beds unmade and slept in, trash, only dirty used towels. No clean linen or towels.

What a dump

This property is old and poorly maintained. Missing or damaged window screens, so the choices being hot or being mosquito bait. Cheapest quality cabinets with drawers askew. junk masquerading as kitchenware. Master bathroom so small that you need to be a contortionist to close the door. And when you do, you discover that the cleaning crew had the same issue and weren’t able to clean the floor behind the door, so you step in dirt and dust on your way in and out of the shower, which shower basically toggles between full hot and full cold water with very little room in between. What little caulk that remains around the showers and toilets is moldy. The cloth headboard of the master bed is so full of dust that when you touch it the dust flies all over the room. The disgusting shag carpet is full of dirt and pebbles, which make it even more unpleasant than usual to walk on.i’ll spare you any more of the sordid details, other than to say it took 24 hours for the Vacasa reps to respond appropriately to my phone calls and text messages and emails to do more cleaning and to give us a set of sheets for the pullout couch that didn’t have them.

So close to the slopes . . . but no internet!

Nice, compact condo that makes the most of it's space. Just 5 minutes away from China Peak, you can't beat the location, especially for the price. The condo is newly remodeled and clean, but the bathrooms could use an upgrade when it comes to water pressure and flushing power. Every flush was a gamble! Not a lot of amenities and very stark. Bring everything you need because the kitchen isn't stocked with anything other than salt and pepper. The deck was buried in 5 feet of snow, which was a bummer for those of us who like a little outside time. The biggest bummer was no internet and terrible cell reception. You were basically cut off from the world. Directions to the place were also challenging, but that could have been because the snowfall in the area cut off roads. Still with all that, the place made a great base of operations for visiting the amazing slopes and the beautiful frozen lake.

Great location for high country visiting. Condo is nice n cozy once warmed up when cold. Beds very comfy. A couple issues that will be discussed with VACASA regarding poor maintenance but would rent here again.

Great Weekend!

I have spent five weekends in three different units at Huntington Lake condos since May. This unit was very clean, and had nice decks. Some of the appliances - tv and timer for the oven - could not be figured out. The floor plan is nice, but to get to a bedroom, bathroom or living room from the entrance level, you must use stairs. At all three units that I've used, I've had horrible allergic reactions on the first day. There must be some kind of cleaning solution that is used. For this reason, I will not be reserving any additional units at Huntington Lake condos.

Cute and Cozy

The place was very cute and cozy, but a few notes... The thermostats in each room were inconsistent in keeping certain temperatures, so it was super cold in the master bedroom and hot in the 2nd bedroom. The water heater didn't provide enough hot water for 4 people showering. The shades on the master bedroom doors (that lead to the cute deck outside) don't go down. We wished there was WiFi, but welcomed the disconnection. The location was great, in relation to Huntington Lake and Shaver Lake. We did most of our lake activities and meals at Shaver Lake, since most of the places in Huntington Lake were closed (including roads that were still snowed in). We enjoyed our stay, but with the few notes mentioned above, it prevents me from giving this place a full 5 stars. Thank you so much for the hospitality!

Nice, but a bit creepy, and wi-fi

Loved that there was enough room for our family of 4, and the location is super convenient right next to China Peak. Didnt love the humongous dead animal heads on the walls sadly staring at us the whole time. Also did not love that there is no wi-fi, so we burned through all our cell phone data.

The location of this condo is great! Very close to the lake and very near some easy - hard hiking trails. Walk to the lake every morning for a kayak ride before the wind and speed boats. Things to be aware of for this rental: The back half of the frig freezes your food. There are no sharp knives to cut any type of protein The gas BBQ and utensils were dirty - plan enough time to clean the grill before cooking your dinner The kitchen is small but workable There are no storage container so be sure to bring ziplocks or storage containers. Serving pieces are small. There is a broom but no dustpan so it was hard to sweep the kitchen and dining room after meals In the family room there are no over head lights so it is hard to read a book or play a game in the evening The TV remotes do not pair with the TV so it is old school get off the couch to turn on/off, volume or channel change There was mold in the master bedroom shower The French door in the master bedroom had great for access to the deck but the doors don’t lock.

Winter fun.

Had a nice stay everything worked and was a clean place. Enjoyed the fire place and the community hot tub was refreshing after a fun day on the slopes. The fan in the master bath was a bit noisy and the hot water after someone else took a shower was warm but otherwise a nice stay. Would definitely stay again.
