Right on the beach, nice kitchen and a/c worked well on both floors!One thing that could definitely use an upgrade is the sofa sectional in the living room area. It has NO fluff left in the cushions and was like sitting on a board.

Perfect location

This place is the perfect location being right on the beach. We loved waking up and seeing the water every morning. The management company was also the best and was very accommodating with us needing to check in early. We will definitely be staying here in the future.

Stunning property in the perfect location in Santa Rosa! Unit was exactly as depicted in the images. We had a few questions during our stay and someone always answered our call and was able to provide us with immediate clear and correct instructions. Just steps to the white sand beach with beautiful balcony views of the gulf from both floors. Walking distance to shops and restaurants and a quick drive to some of our other favorite local destinations. Highly recommend renting chairs and umbrellas from the service they recommend… They were always out there setting them up first thing in the morning which made for a quick and easy trip down to the beach not having to carry those items with us and set up. Highly recommend!!

Amazing experience!

We absolutely loved our stay in Emerald Hill! The condo was exactly as described and our kids had a great time as well. We highly recommend booking the chair and umbrella rental that the company offers. It made our beach days so much easier and relaxing. We used the washer and dryer - very convenient to have in the unit. The master bedroom and bath were luxurious and our kids were comfortable in the bunk room. We did not need the downstairs bedroom, but it looked lovely as well!

Great time at the beach

Condo is nicely updated, yet comfortable, including the outdoor seating on both balconies. Large refrigerator was great for our group. Towels and initial supplies were good for our group. Condo’s washer/dryer are a big help for your beach towels, etc. Location of Emerald Hills condos is perfect, near bike and beach equipment rental, restaurants, grocery store, etc. Well-maintained, secure complex.

Perfect beach location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Beachfront location can’t be beat! In the quiet section of 30a but biking/walking distance to many restaurants/shops. Short flight of stairs down to beach. Views from living room and master. Unit was just renovated and not entirely finished it seemed...just missing some finishing touches (curtains, dressers, toilet paper holders). Mattress in master was rock hard BUT the management company took care of it immediately by bringing us a mattress pad. They were extremely responsive with any questions. Lighting in master was so dark. Never used the pool but it looked nice!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My vacation experience was good!! We love the location of the unit. When we arrived the light in the master bathroom was being replaced. Once it was replaced it flickered all week. The maintenance just said we’d have to deal with it. The toilet in master bedroom had a clump of hair in it. The tub/shower needed a good bleaching. There was a lot of mildew around all the fixtures. The kitchen counters were also sticky when we arrived. My only complaint with the unit is that it needed a good cleaning!!

Emerald Hill 14 vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Emerald Hill in Seagrove Beach is a great small condo complex. Location and maintenance of the complex are exceptional. Unit 14 which has been updated was overall a nice place to stay. The view from both floors of the ocean are amazing. The bunk room is cool for kids and the decor is well done. The master suite has a nice shower and remote control curtains. Master bed is quite firm. The biggest issues with are stay were the following. Refrigerator was not operating when we arrived. I quickly realized that the GFCI receptacle needed to be reset further down the countertop. Easy fix but took longer to get refrigerator to operational temp for our food. The unit didn’t have a broom to sweep up, another easy fix to the local Publix but still a hassle and a broom should be made available. Water faucets in some of the bathrooms are backwards (hot should be on the left and cold on the right). Cleanliness of the unit before our arrival was not ideal. Glass doors were not wiped down, old granola bar on the floor next to the worn out sofa. Dust on the picture art, and under the curtains. Deadbolt to the unit doesn’t work and storm door on the front is hard to close.

Not crazy crowded like Seaside but close enough you could walk there. The property was comfortable, but the living room furniture was worn. The primary bedroom was really the highlight of comfortable and nice. Not the cleanest place as there was popcorn and a muffin wrapper on the floor in the living room and a plastic bottle cap on the rug next to the bed in the primary when we got there. There were many little maintenance issues like a broken deadbolt and hairdryer as examples. I have never stayed in a vacation condo that had nothing to at least start you in the kitchen. Plenty of dishes, silverware , pots, equipment, etc. (though not all clean) But no supplies like salt, pepper, starter coffee service, extra trash bags or toilet paper. The online description said that you "may" need to bring some of those things, but not everything... Not real convenient for folks that fly in like we did. There were some beach chairs and toys. That was nice although at least one of the chairs smelled like puke and couldn't be used. This sounds like a bad experience. It's not. Again, the location is awesome and the condo was generally comfortable. You just need to know the shortcomings to be prepared.

Can't beat the location

We arrived on Saturday and Sunday the air went out. I called and left a message through the Rental Agency. I received a call back as soon as the agencies office opened Monday morning and HVAC was out at 3p.m. to service the unit. Within the hour the repairs were complete and 3 hours later the condo was cooled down from 86° to 76° I was told AC is considered an "emergency." It was a major inconvenience to our party of 11, but maybe our review can help: if this ever happens to you, call through the emergency option. The pros: *Cindy at the rental agency was an absolute pleasure. So friendly and welcoming * huge sectional in the living area. *garage access makes for wasy storage of chairs, boards, toys *The entry space has so many hooks. It made getting the kids gear, towels, and hats hung and out of the way a breeze. *The bunk room is 3 fulls, a twin, and small sofa. *the fans in the living area and master are huge *The refrigerator has a filter, so the ice and water are consumable. *There's small pantry closet in the kitchen area *All 3 bedrooms have good closet space (but only had 6 hangers) *The complex is our favorite location in all of Seagrove The updated unit is great. We love Emerald Hill condos, but never considered this unit because it was so dated prior to renovations. We would definitely stay again, but some of the minor-ish issues that would prevent 14 from being a top pick are: *No keyless entry to the unit. *The downstairs and upstairs guest bathrooms have old bathtubs with poor drains with the connected stoppers that can't be pulled out, creating inches of water being stopped up while showering... and the shower heads are the most basic fixtures with weak water pressure. *The internet is pretty weak and there are no TV's in either guest bedroom. *There's also no vacuum in the unit *the curtains to the living area window are sheer, don't run the whole width of the window or provide any barrier from the sun and heat, which may not have mattered if the air hadn't gone out *the unit smelled of undilluted bleach when we arrived. It seemed like they cleaned the kitchen surfaces and inside the fridge with it and the smell was overwhelming. Not a huge deal, just different cleaning methods than we were used to in other unit *damage to the gutter over the front porch made consistent huge puddles on the porchway and front stairs. My husband slipped and fell down the stairs because of this. Luckily it wasn't one of the kids.

Great beachfront location

This is a great beachfront condo. The unit was clean and the decor was updated and cozy. The balcony was roomy with comfortable furniture . The management company was helpful and attentive. We will try to stay here again!
