We were celebrating our Golden Wedding Anniversary with all our family and Thornleigh was the perfect property with plenty of room . The Play Room and Hot Tub were a great success with everyone.Thornleigh was right in the heart of the town with easy access to shops, the park and waterfall. It was also within walking distance to the station and we all loved a ride on the local steam train.We had a fabulous long weekend and special memories have been made, thank you.

Excellent accommodation - spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, plenty of crockery/pots/pans etc, central to Matlock. Great communication with owners prior to and during our visit. Would highly recommend, and already planning a return visit.

We had an amazing stay. Spotlessly clean and fully equipped with everything we needed. Great location right in the centre of Matlock. Lovely little person touches would definitely recommend.

Large house which was ideal for our group of 10 adults - having a bathroom per couple. Great location - only a few minutes walk into centre of Matlock. Very well equipped kitchen with plenty of crockery etc for everyone. We enjoyed the hot tub and it was a bonus to have extra towels to use for that. There was a dog bed and other accessories provided which was great. With the gorgeous weather we spent a lot of time in the garden and it would have been good to have some more comfy chairs. There are a couple of steps in the garden which were a bit tricky so not ideal for those with mobility issues. Overall highly recommend

We had a fantastic weekend away in Matlock with our family of 10. The house was spotlessly clean, incredibly spacious, and easily accommodated everyone without ever feeling crowded. The hot tub and games room were a huge hit with both the adults and children, making our stay even more enjoyable.The kitchen was exceptionally well equipped with everything we needed for cooking and dining together, which made catering for a large group really easy.The location was perfect and made an excellent base for exploring the area. During our stay we visited the Heights of Abraham, enjoyed a trip to Bakewell, and took a lovely walk to Lumsdale Waterfall, all of which we would highly recommend. There are also some fantastic places to eat and drink just a short walk away. We especially enjoyed Farmacy Bar, The Newsroom, and D'Alessandro's.We had a brilliant stay and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this property to anyone looking for a comfortable, well-equipped place for a family or group getaway.

One of the best times ever with the family. Unfortunately it was the hottest weekend and the fans just swirled hot air around so not a lot of sleep had. I think it also affected the ice maker as it worked when we arrived then stopped for nearly 48 hours. But that’s just nitpicking. The house is fabulous, wonderful house for lots of people. Beautifully kept. Everywhere well managed and spotless. I think it’s been broken a while but the garden umbrella is broken, not that we needed it. Would definitely recommend. Forgot to say - so well situated for visiting so many places and right in the town.

13 of us stayed for my sister's hen - lovely property, we were all very impressed and comfortable. Beds comfy, rooms had good storage and I've never seen a better stocked kitchen. Hot tub was a huge hit. Great location, stones throw away from the town centre. Query was resolved promptly through messages with owner. We were all very happy with our stay. Only recommendation would some door stops for the kitchen and living room as they wouldn't stay open without a wedge, but that might be for a fire safety reason.
