La famosa playa de arena blanca del Carmel está a solo tres cuadras de caminata.

La avenida Ocean de Carmel-by-the-Sea, con restaurantes de clase mundial, boutiques, galerías de arte y salas de cata de vinos, también se encuentra a tres cuadras de Carmel Dream.

Remodel se completó en mayo de 2018 haciendo de Carmel Dream un clásico por excelencia con una gran cantidad de encanto y una sofisticación informal.
Los nuevos muebles y la decoración de lujo, las vistas al océano con mucha luz natural en toda la casa hacen que Carmel Dream sea cálido, acogedor y cómodo. Se encuentra en una calle tranquila con poco tráfico turístico que le brinda serenidad y privacidad.

Thanksgiving in Carmel

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The house is in a great location and was perfect for hosting visiting friends and family over Thanksgiving. The kitchen is very well equipped with cooking, serving, and dinner ware. The beds and bedding are divinely comfortable and you can hear the waves as you drift off to sleep. Teresa is an extremely thoughtful hostess - much appreciated!

Dream Vacation

This home is great! Couldn’t ask for a better location. It is a few blocks from the beach and a few blocks into town. The house itself was spotless and very comfortable. The beds and pillows were great and the kitchen was well stocked with everything you could need. This was our third time in Carmel and this will be our go-to place. Teresa is a great hostess!

Incredible stay in Carmel for the month of July. Teresa was a wonderful host - super communicative and warm. She went out of her way to help coordinate a crib drop off for my baby before my arrival. The house is exactly as shown, super clean and comfortable. Beds and linens were very comfortable. Kitchen is beautifully updated and has every single item you could ever need to cook - even a small food processor so I could make baby food - so appreciated! The location is the real star being one block away from La Playa hotel, 2 blocks to the beach and 4 blocks to Ocean ave. Not to mention ocean views! We hope to stay again soon. Thanks Teresa! 3

Wonderful Experience!

Theresa, Theresa, Theresa! There can’t be many other owners so personally invested in their property and their renters’ experience. From start to finish we were always astonished and impressed by her prompt, thoughtful responses to questions or any small issue. The kitchen is perfectly equipped and works beautifully. Decor is charming. Location to beach and town is perfect. We loved every minute! Only complaint was that our month went too quickly!

Perfect house and a perfect location

We loved our stay at "Carmel Dream". The meticulously kept house is spacious and well laid out. It's bright and cheerful with nice seating areas in the front and back yards. The kitchen is great and very well equipped. Everything we could possibly need to cook for the two of us and also entertain guests. We felt very much at home. The location is perfect. It's on a quiet street 3 blocks from the beach. You are out of the hustle and bustle of Ocean Ave. but just a short walk to town. Teresa, the owner, was there to meet us when we arrived. And, she is amazing. She brought us some special treats and, even though she lives outside of Carmel, was always available via phone and text to answer questions during our stay. I will always think of her as a friend.

Great stay.

We spent the month of September in Teresa's home in Carmel. The house was perfect for us. It was nicely decorated, clean, had all the cooking equipment we needed, and a wonderful location. Three short blocks to the beach and three blocks from Ocean Ave. Teresa met us when we checked in and walked us through the house and answered any questions we had. What a great way to escape the Texas heat.

A wonderful home!

Great location--3 blocks to the beach and 6 blocks to restaurants & shops. Beautifully furnished, and the kitchen has all you need. Teresa met us to show us around the house, and responded instantly to any questions we had. We had a wonderful time and highly recommend.

It was a dream vacation!

We had such a fantastic stay at Teresa's beautiful home! If I could give it more than 5 stars, I would! The home is charming, more beautiful than advertised and just a short walk to the beach. Teresa is lovely and attentive. She met us at the home upon arrival and had beverages and cheese and crackers waiting for us and treats for our pup! She told us to call if we needed anything during our stay. I can tell you that we didn't need one thing because she had thought of everything. The home is so well appointed, and I do want to mention the mattresses and bed linens are divine! She also has a wonderful gardener that maintains her beautiful gardens that surround her home. We enjoyed the fire pit in the evenings admiring the garden and listening to the waves. Yes, you can hear the waves from the house. Her "Carmel Dream" is a gem and I am so grateful that she shares it with all of us! We look forward to returning for a month each year!

Gorgeous Home-Close to Everything

We loved our stay at “Carmel Dream” for a month. It is the perfect location, three blocks from the beach, and walking distance to town. Teresa is incredible. She was very accommodating and very quick to respond with any questions. Teresa’s home is great, very clean and had everything we needed to feel at home. We cannot wait to return and totally recommend it!

Perfect vacation home, location and host.

This is a beautiful home, with two large bedrooms and a study that can easily be used as a third bedroom (all on one floor, which makes it very easy to move about). All the beds and other furniture are very comfortable and the home (including the kitchen) are well equipped with everything a guest might need. The location is ideal -- a short walk both to the beach and to the center of town. The host, Teresa, is extremely welcoming, kind and considerate and responds very quickly to any question. We've visited Carmel many times and this is the best vacation rental we've stayed at. We look forward to returning as soon as we can.

All around great place to stay

Carmel is our favorite place to walk on the beach and eat out. Perfect location to do both. House is 3 blocks from ocean and town. Very quiet, and very comfortable. Very dog friendly. Well equipped kitchen. Teresa greats you with wine and Cheese and is very responsive when there is a problem.

Digby Loved It, Too

Teresa Hallin is the kind of landlady one hopes to find: friendly and responsive. She met us when we arrived to show us what we needed to know and left with us a wonderful, homemade quiche, some cheeses and nuts and a bottle of Martinelli’s (we had told her we’d sadly given up wine). Then, she came several times from her home 45 minutes away when we had a need. Carmel Dream was just completely renovated and is immaculate. For us, the 2d bedroom with a king size bed, the separate office with a trundle bed and, oh yes, the view of the ocean from the master bedroom were the icing on the cake. Digby is our 10-year old Labradoodle. He got us to sign up for next March.

We arrived late but Teresa had waited patiently to welcome us. She had even left us a quiche for breakfast ! The house is large & open with comfortable beds & bedding. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything you could want. An outside seating area is perfect to enjoy a glass of wine and the stars, which are brilliant with no street lights to interfere. Close to the beach/ocean and uptown. Would definitely return.

We've been lucky enough to spend a month each summer in Carmel, and Teresa's Carmel Dream is now at the top of our list. Best location - stroll a few short blocks to the beach or downtown, relax around the fire-pit, and fall asleep to the sound of the ocean waves. Teresa and Brian are wonderful hosts, very welcoming, and especially important to us, dog friendly! Beautiful decor, extremely comfortable. Highly recommend. Looking forward to a return visit!

Beautiful house in the heart of Carmel

We had a great stay at Il Sogno di Teresa! The decor is really beautiful and it's perfectly located between the beach and the heart of Carmel. The house had everything we needed... fully stocked kitchen, cozy bedrooms with fireplaces, gas BBQ in a cute little backyard, really classy dining room and a big comfy couches for relaxing in the living room... Oh, and Teresa and Brian were fantastic hosts :) Can't wait to come back!

Having a vacation home in Carmel By The Sea has long been our dream. We love that once we pull up that the car remains parked in the garage the entire visit. Waking up and taking family walks on the beach with our dogs brings us joy and is the perfect way to start the day. Walking to town for a nice lunch or dinner is stress free and we enjoy socializing in the local wine tasting rooms.
We live 45 min away so it's easy and convenient to manage.
Our dream for this home is that it bring family and friends together and it be filled with joy, love and special memories.
