Guadalupe Daze es una maravillosa casa de cuatro dormitorios y 2. 5 baños en la parte baja del río Guadalupe en el pintoresco New Braunfels. Aproveche el conveniente acceso a la costa justo afuera del patio trasero. Hay una gran repisa de roca en la orilla del río que facilita la entrada al río, así como un gran lugar para descansar y disfrutar de las aguas frías. El proveedor de río más cercano para equiparlo con balsas y tubos es una corta caminata de 2 a 3 minutos por la calle. Whitewater Amphitheatre, River Road Ice House, Gruene Hall, Schlitterbahn y mucho más están a solo un breve trayecto en coche de la propiedad.

This is the second time we’ve had a family vacation at Guadalupe Daze. You cannot beat the location! Our grandchildren are five and eight years old so the natural rock shelf off of the shore is perfect! The river on the other side of the shelf is refreshing and not too deep. Fishing was fun for everyone!

You get what you pay for

This is our 4th year in a row getting a house on the same general area of the Guadalupe River, but this was our least favorite.We will start with the good.The house sits on a great part of the river, has easy access down to the water, and easy access into the water (though maybe some type of dock or pad like others have would be nice). There is a nice porch outside.For inside, the ac works great as well as the hot water. For the negative reviews. We rented right after the tragic flood and tried to cancel. Not because of just the tragedy, but because of all of the debris in the water, water condition, and boil notice in neighboring neighborhoods. The management company refused it, even though Vrbo was going to approve it (no we didn’t get the extra insurance for cancellation). The management company was supposed to keep me up to date on the condition of the roads, water, house etc as we were going to be driving in a day after the flood. They failed to notify me of anything (river conditions, road closures, boil notice of surrounding area). For the house. The beds are subpar, the pillows are god awful, the upstairs is so squeaky. The furniture is completely mismatched and looks like it was picked from different garage sales (as if they were renting to college kids who would care less). The cook ware is subpar. They provided 6 towels and 0 outdoor towels.Because you run this house like a business with no morals, maybe it is time to put some money back into the house.

Guadalupe Daze was the perfect location for our group. If you're looking for a place to stay that is literally on the river, look no further. We stayed for the 4th this year and though the situation with the flood was unpredictable, we were able to stay safe inside together. Didn't get to float as we had hoped, but would love to come back and visit at another date.

Not as good as the pictures portray

The interior of the property needs to be updated and needs a good deep cleaning. The upstairs floor is especially sqeeky and loose. There was a cheeto on the upstairs bedroom floor when we arrived. Multiple loose wall outlets, a couple hanging completely out of the wall. The exterior needs manicured. Tree limbs scrub vehicles as you enter and park in the drive. The lawn needed mowed and shrubs trimmed. The entrance into the river was overgrown. Only a few of the patio lights were burning. We were left 3 rolls of toilet paper for 7 people staying 5 nights. The location is perfect and the home would be much better with a little love and attention. I feel like the pictures posted are from several years ago. It doesn't seem like we received what we paid for.

Annual Family River trip

This was our 4th summer to rent this property, and we always have a great time. You cannot beat the location, and river access. Also, the rock shelf, just into the river is great for lounging and playing, if you have littles. We were two families, with four adults, and three teens, and the house has great space, for all. We always appreciate the Adirondack chairs, and grill provided. You have everything you need, for a stay at Guadalupe Daze, and the AC works great! We will be back!

Perfect River Getaway

Can't beat having the Guadalupe River in your backyard! Loved staying here over Spring Break. Plenty of room for everyone to have their own space in this house. Awesome deck overlooking the river. So glad there was water in the river even during this drought. We were able to float in our tubes and do some fishing. Sure enjoyed it & hope to be back this summer!

This house checked all our wants -on the river and accessible - tubing outfitter near house- large house giving everybody their own bedroom -huge deck and table to play games ,etc nice house layout -enough room for 4 cars even tho it says only 3 - fun was had by all!!!

Perfect place for family time

We have come to this wonderful house each summer - except 2020 - since 2011. walking in the front door feels like coming home. The bathrooms were remodeled since we were here last year. That was a pleasant surprise. The river access is so nice. Kids from littles to bugs can play in the river with its shallow rock shelf by the shore and deeper channel in the middle. There is so much living space here - separate tv room and large deck allow us to spread out. Btw I dining tables and barstools let us set up a game or puzzle and still be able to eat together. As soon as we figure out the dates around our teens I'll be making reservations for next summer.

Comfortable and relaxing

The house is very comfortable. My friends and I spent a relaxing few days by the river. Lots of room for the five of us college buddies who get together for a few days at least once a year. Beds are comfortable, TVs to watch baseball games, sat out on the deck under beautiful trees, great access to the river. The house is a little worn from usage, but nothing broken and everything clean. All necessities are there. Nice location on the river and less than 10 minutes to get to Sattler for groceries, pizza and hamburgers. Rhonda at Vacay Hill Country was very attentive; helped us get an early check in and gave us a phone call to ask if we needed anything.

The house was nice and cozy. We were upset that the grass was really tall while all the neighbors grass was mowed. That made it difficult to enjoy being right on the river. The chairs outside had a lot of cracked legs but overall it was a nice getaway.

Good get away - kids enjoyed it

House was perfect for us (5 adults, 2 kids). Clean and everything worked. We did have one problem that popped up mid-visit but property manager got it fixed right away. One of the best VBRO stays that we have had.
