MARICOPA RIVER RESORT - una propiedad de SkyRun Texas

Maricopa River Resort está ubicado en una zona tranquila de Guadalupe, justo antes de 'Horseshoe', una zona popular para practicar tubing y rafting. Salta en un tubo o en la balsa que elijas directamente desde el patio trasero y flota la Herradura, un tramo panorámico del río que se dobla convenientemente y te coloca convenientemente cerca de donde comenzaste (lo que requiere un corto paseo de regreso a la casa). El Anfiteatro Whitewater también se encuentra al final de esta sección del río, a solo 1/2 milla del Maricopa River Resort.

Te encantará todo lo que hay que hacer en la zona, pero también disfrutarás de la casa. Maricopa tiene capacidad para un máximo de 8 huéspedes entre sus 4 espaciosas habitaciones y también cuenta con 3 baños completos. This house has a great location and access to the river. The host was responsive and helpful. I am taking a star off because the amenities in the house were basic. There were not enough towels for 8 people, not a lot of utensils in the kitchen, there was mold around the AC ventsand the AC couldnt keep up and there were missing sheets for some of the beds.

New favorite river house!

We go to the river every 4th of July, and since our usual house was booked, we were a little nervous about trying a new place. But the moment we walked in, all our worries disappeared. This home was perfect for our group! The family room and dining area were spacious and comfortable, ideal for gathering with a crowd. But the true standout was the yard—absolutely gorgeous—and the short walk to the river was peaceful and scenic. It rained the entire weekend, but honestly, we didn't mind one bit. We spent our days playing games and relaxing on the beautiful back deck. It was the perfect place to be “stuck” in. A couple of small notes: we couldn't get the living room TV to work, despite trying everything. Normally not a big deal, but we were hoping to catch the news. Also, the kitchen could use a few more large serving bowls to better accommodate a group. Other than that—no complaints! We've officially found our new “regular” river house. Can't wait to come back!

Overall, it was a good stay. The beds were uncomfortable and low water pressure in the kitchen. The floor didn't seem to have been swept before we arrived. Great location and we will consider booking again

The refrigerator wasn't working. We informed rental company and they responded quickly but we had to keep our groceries in a cooler with ice for the whole trip. Most of the air vents in the house had mold. It is a good location but the river bottom has a lot of weeds that could have been cleaned up before arrival and the motel guests next door set up tents in the river right behind our house where the walk down is. Luckily, our family had rented the house next door so we were able to move dairy products to their fridge and set up in the river there.

The positives are that the rooms and house itself was sizable and relatively comfortable for groups of up to 8. The kitchen and baths were clean. The view of the river from the deck was very nice. Although there is a hotel next door we never heard any noise or saw more than a few people there (a lot of highway noise though, all day). Nice that there was a laundry room. The negatives are that there were only 3 hand towels in the whole house. Prepare to share! And the mattresses sag in the middle, especially the twin beds. Finally, the large fry pan is warped, and the surface is flaking off. Definitely does not work on the solid surface stovetop. When I asked for more towels (one per person at least) the management company said thanks for the suggestion, so they respond quickly but not the answer you want.

Great stay!

We had 8 people including 4 children under 10 stay for a weekend and the house was great. The kids loved the riverfront access and the backyard. Only small complaint would be there was no tv or streaming box available, but there is WiFi, so bring a device if you want any live tv. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay!

Road noise

We stayed at this location for 4 nights. The home is lovely, open, spacious and clean. The property is nice, and we love being close to the Guadalupe, but the home is very close to 306, and the road noise was annoying. A couple other things we didn't care for we uncomfortable beds. Mattress toppers would be very helpful. The kitchen is nice, but the cookware is in very rough shape. The frying pans, in particular, made cooking frustrating. Lastly, the water pressure is very low, and there was no hot water in the kitchen. We tried adjusting the valves under the sink but could not get hot water to run. If these minor things could be addressed, I would recommend it to others, but for the cost of the stay, we had higher expectations of comfort.

Nice house with awesome views

Nice house with awesome views. Direct access to river next to bridge at the beginning of the horseshoe. Able to get rides back to house via Shanty Rides. Simple and easy check in A+++. Mattresses need to be replaced due to squeaking and worn out. Need more pillow cases and new pillows. Needs more towels. Needs more basic silverware (knives, spoons, forks). Floor was dirty and had not been mopped. If these things were done, I would have given it 5 stars.

Decent house, perfect river spot

House was decent for the price but even then there could be a few upgrades that would make it better. No hot water or water pressure in the kitchen to do dishes, the dishes themselves need to be thrown out and replaced and that goes for the minimum amount of pots and pans. The fridge didn’t keep anything cold but in certain areas would freeze other items. The stove doesn’t cook food properly, probably due to the age of it. AC thermostat was hard to work. Shower heads in all the bathrooms need to be replaced. The spot on the river was perfect and the access was great which made up for the minor things with the house. Check out was early and even check in seemed late. But we know for next time to bring our own pots, pans, and cooking utensils as well as cleaning supplies. Would definitely stay here again just feel for the money some small minor upgrades need to be done to make it perfect.

Needs a little TLC

We have been renting our favorite river house since it was first built and have always enjoyed our stay. But, over the past couple of years we've noticed a few things that would be a simple fix. The cooking utensils are horrible, just thrown in the dirty drawer. The pots and pans are very minimal. A very small pot that would fit maybe 3 eggs for boiling and a fry pan that is warped. Not one bowl was found for whipping eggs for breakfast to feed 8 people! The 2 bar stools are a hazard and hope to the hood lord up above that no one gets hurt sitting in them! The A/C system never really cooled down! It needs to be set correctly to be comfortable during the day and cool at night. Just a simple update of the correct time and temperature. I realize that people take stuff and mistreat property but we don't do that. We brought our own knives this year with a cutting board! Next year we will need to bring our own pots & pans plus mixing bowls!! I was just very disappointed last year and more this year. We cook & clean plus we leave the house cleaner than when we got there!! We pay a lot of money to stay there and you would think it would be better equipped for vacations. We start looking forward to our girls trip in January and we love this house but I'm wondering if it is worth another year. Sorry for my negative vent but a quick trip to Walmart or the $ Store would help in so many ways. It's the little things! Thanks, Judy Blankenship

The Perfect Location

I had previously stayed at the Horseshoe Lodge and when I saw that the house next door was available, I knew it was where I wanted to stay. I think it is literally the best location to float the river while still being close to New Braunfels for going out at night. You can depart right from the back yard without having to stand in line at the stairs, and once you finish floating the horseshoe, you can walk right back to the house. We had no problems with the house, it was perfect for what we needed. But we could have definitely invited more people because there was plenty of space for only 4 girls. The check out time was a bit early (10am instead of the usual 11am I am used to), but I honestly didn't mind paying the late check-out fee. It was definitely worth it not to have to rush in the morning and it was a reasonable price. 5 out of 5 stars and will most likely book again on my next stay.

We loved the property. Beautiful and the size was perfect. The check in process was easy. The layout of the house was great too. There was only one problem. The tv in the main room did not work. There was only 1 other in a bedroom.

Actual home and location was great but the issue is with Management Company-Vacay Hill Country!

Unfortunately, our experience with this management company has been terrible. The day our vacation was to start I received a voicemail stating the ac was no longer working at the property we rented, Wendy assured me in the voicemail it was getting repaired but wouldn't be until anytime between 5-7pm. Our check-in time is 2pm so they offered me money to go have dinner and wait while the home cooled off. Not a problem...This was all through voicemail. I called back Vacay Hill country and the person I spoke with was very nice and assured me the ac would get repaired and also confirmed they were refunding me $200 for dinner. I never received this. However, this isn't the worst thing. Once we arrived at about 7:30 in the evening to drop off our things before going to dinner, there was no ac and no contractors working at the home either. At this point someone from the management company should have reached out to me to update what was going on. I called and of course I had to speak with the afterhours answering service who could only tell me the ac was supposed to be getting repaired between 5-7, mind you it was already after 7pm. FINALLY after going back and forth with the answering service and demanding I get an actual answer and not a blanket excuse they were able to tell me that the ac needed a specific part and was not getting repaired until Monday. Needless to say I was livid and wish someone would have reached out to me before then, so we could've prepared to stay at anot

Good spot

Great house on the river

My wife, children, and grandchildren spent 5 days starting Christmas day at this wonderful 4/3 home on the Guadalupe River. The children played in the large backyard as the weather was very nice. We enjoyed fishing and watching the fly fishers catching rainbow trout. We even caught a few. The home was all that we needed and would definitely stay again. Thanks Maricopa for a wonderful Christmas, Eddie

Birthday weekend concert

A small group of us came into town for a concert at Gruene Hall. The communication with the owner was great and always got quick responses. The house was so cute and had a great view of the river! The pictures online were spot on. The check in and check out process was super easy and the house was very clean and well maintained. Will definitely look to book again in the future!

Simple and sweet

Great location, very clean, no frills. Had the basic amenities, no extras. Everything worked as it should. Some confusion with check in and need for supplies was resolved very quickly and to our satisfaction.

Nice in November

Maricopa River Resort is perfectly laid out for three couples or a group of friends. Three full bathrooms for each wing and bedroom. The back porch is very tranquil with the Guad right there.

Great times on the Guadalupe near Whitewater

We really enjoyed our stay. It Has a great waterfront perfect for fly fishing. Plus it is within walking distance to Whitewater Amphitheater. Great location and comfortable clean house.
