Oceans One Disappointment

The resort was not clean and well maintained. I looked at several resorts on this trip and this was the dirtiest one. From overflowing trashcans in the lobby, to the large quantity of gum and other things stuck to the sidewalk outside the lobby. The elevators were dirty and not being cleaned on a regular basis. There were cars parked in the loading zone next to the lobby overnight forcing us to carry our luggage from across the street. The condition of the unit that we stayed in was also in need of maintenance, The carpet was dirty, many of the light bulbs in the unit were burnt out, the toilet was not securely fastened to the floor, there was rust on the wall next to the tub, there was paint touchup done in the unit and the touchup paint didn't match the existing paint, so the touchups stood out. I would not stay in in this unit or resort again.

Well where do I begin. The listing states it has a washer and dryer, and 2 queen beds. The beds were fulls and the dryer was broke upon arrival. I reached out to the ckntact that stated to me it’s listed that the dryer is broken. Which it is not and I asked her to show me on the VRBO listing where it was stated. I searched repeatedly. The room was filthy and the bathroom has mold by the tub area. The pull down bed did not have a mattress protector on it. When I asked for one plus a blanket I was told to cover up with a sheet and use the other sheet to cover the stains. After continuously asking we finally received a mattress protector and a blanket. The washer and dryer combo was finally delivered on our last day of staying there. My wife and I plus our 3 kids had to use the same towels because of the dryer being broke and when asked for new towels and wash clothes we was told we would be charged. I would have never booked this room if I had known the dryer was broke. Terrible service.

Loved Myrtle Beach

The condo was clean, just needs some cosmetic repair. The view was amazing, I could have stayed on the balcony my entire stay.

Property not clean

My Myrtle Beach experience was fair to say the least. The beach, night life, and atmosphere was nice. Nonetheless; the Ocean One room I stayed in was not very nice. The room wasn’t clean; and I saw several roaches around the building. They need to have security. On my third night we had neighbors from hell. Approximately 12 teenagers were utilizing one room. They were smoking (marijuana), and making loud noise the entire time. I will return to Myrtle Beach; but I will stay elsewhere. Note: the two ladies working at the check in desk across the street from the unit were both very nice.

The Condo was comfy and had all the commodities of home. The ocean view was spectacular. We saw a school of dolphins on our last morning right before leaving for home. We have already booked a return visit for my Birthday in September.

Very Nice !

Our stay was for much needed R&R ..The decor is striking. I loved it. No hassle whatsoever. The only problem I had was it’s on the 12 th floor and that’s more breathtaking than I can handle! 😳.. I realize that many folks love that priceless view! All in all, wish I were staying there right now .. 😎

View is great but that's it for this particular condo!

This condo should be remodeled asap. Mattresses are lumpy, bathroom cabinets are worn, kitchen appliances didn't work, living/dinning furniture is not comfortable. Had to have the balcony chairs replaced on day 2! The condo just didn't feel cleaned or cared for! The building was clean and tidy. If you want to stay in this building request a remodeled condo. View is great but doesn't make up for the accomodations, typically it would!

Everything was pretty good. Only complaints are there were very few move in carts and the only suggestion from staff was to watch for someone using one and grab it after they’re done. It was a very slow time, so I can’t imagine what it’s like when it’s busy. Sofa was uncomfortable and would be very cramped if you had to use the Murphy bed. Beds were comfortable- needed more blankets.

Relaxing trip

My husband and I have been married for 33years and this was our first trip alone since the kids grew up...our last one moved out this past year.. Thanks for letting us share your condo..it was a great calming trip...in a nice clean unit!!

Great beach front property!

Had everything we needed for our stay! Located perfectly on the beach with amazing views and within walking distance of so many attractions! Extra amenities like in room washer/dryer and dishwasher with a large bathroom and comfortable beds! Love this place and would highly recommend!

This place for the most part was amazing, Juile (our hostess) was great, always checking up on us, we had rented the condo from her which turned into a problem with the hotel we were staying at, they did now acknowledge that we were even there so if i needed something it turned into quite the headache, also through no fault of the hotel I guess we never had any housekeeping for the week we were there, getting extra towels or having garbage bags removed turned into an argument the first time as housekeeping felt we should know where to dispose of it and we had the audacity to ask I mean bother them, only downfall of the whole trip, but I knew how to clean so we were not living in filth, I ended up renting 3 condos as I was on a family vacation so I spent quite a bit of money just in rooms alone. Cant beat the location and sitting on my balcony every night with a cold one listening to the ocean waves cant be beat. I can now mark Myrtle Beach off my bucket list, hello Key West!!!! If your going to Myrtle Beach check out Oceans One and Julie rents out at least 2 condos that I know of,.

Family vacation with a view

We loved having a view of the beach from our patio. The pools in the building were perfect for the whole family, our 4 year old especially loved the pool with all the fountains and the lazy river. The property was clean and a great set up for our family of 3, with the hallway separating the living room from the bedroom so we could stay up after we put our child to bed.

Great condo, amazing beachfront views, walk to boardwalk, quiet and relaxing. Great shower and water pressure! Could use more light in bedroom and some pillows to make couch more comfortable. Overall wonderful experience would stay again for sure!

The excitement of packing was part of the fun. Myrtle Beach has changed a lot over the years, but it holds a special place in my heart, just as I hope it does for your children.
