Ocean Vista

Great stay at Ocean Vista 1201, condo has great views, nice furnishings and convenience items. When going back to South Padre, we will stay here if available.

Great experience

We had a great experience staying at this property. The property manager made the express check-in process very easy and responded immediately to all questions. The property was as advertised. It was very clean and a great location. We would definitely stay here again.

Great unit with wrap-around balcony overlooking the Gulf of Mexico but with views of bay and south to SpaceX facility. Easy access to beach and lots of off-street parking. Property is nicely located within easy walking distance to grocery and restaurants.

Amazing!

Honestly the easiest check in process. So close to the beach. The best views. The condo itself is absolutely perfect and we all stayed comfortably. My family enjoyed every bit of it. We will most definitely stay again. No hesitation no doubt about it. The closet of fun had boards, sand castle toys. The closet had flashlights for night walking. There wasn’t anything we needed that they did not have. We will be back! Thank you for an amazing stay.

South Padre stay

While on vacation normally we are in the room little. But you have expectations for an expensive room. This room could be a GEM. But carpet is bad, window coverings stained, unit fans either broken warped or plain made noise. Patio / balcony not maintained and very slick. Not good when 120 feet up. BUT the room with carpet repair, faucets, toilets fans and change the curtain. Then this would be a premier property.

We booked this condo last minute to spend time with son and daughter with their SOs. The condo is well appointed, updated, and has great views. The property is well maintained and clean.

Thanksgiving get away

Condo was beautifully kept. Kitchen had every item needed to cook throughout the week. As always bring your own food and drinks. Views were amazing!!!!! Beaches were pristine! Location was great, walkable to main restaurants, stores, and local grocery. The only negative, no beach chairs. And could not find a place to rent from. The local chairs on beach were all locked up!!! Would absolutely stay here again.

Great family time

We really enjoyed our time at Ocean Vista Towers. The condo was spacious, the kitchen was well appointed and was very quiet inside, even with many families on site. The location was so centrally located to everything on the island. The views were priceless and access to the beach was so easy. I highly recommend this location for family vacations.

Wonderful condo, wonderful stay!

This condo was one of the nicest ones I've stayed in at south Padre Island. Top end flooring, mattresses, appliances and gorgeous paint and decorations. Huge TV's in living room and master bedroom. The balcony was the best feature of all! Just two things I would change: an auto lock system with code on the front door instead of a key (for multiple guests) and the cheap stacked apartment size washer and dryer were disappointing, especially because everything else was top of the line.

Wow! As soon as you walk through front door you are greated by an amazing wall of windows that spill on to a beautiful ocean. This is an end unit and on the top floor making it very private.. The covered patio is massive with enough outdoor seating to accommodate several people. It has an Eastern view so you are greeted by beautiful sunrises and the soothing sound of the waves. This unit is so nicely appointed. It's updated beachy decor is lovely and homey. The owners have thoughtfully included every thing you could need or want. From the toiletries in the bathrooms to the spices in the kitchen. There are beach towels and accessories, games to play and there are even flashlights for walking on the beach! This beautiful condo wasn't missing one single thing! The location you ask? It's on the best side of the island. You even have your own covered parking spot... Talking about a plus! The check-in process was flawless. You are provided with all codes needed and concise instructions. There is an informational folder with amenities, activities, and places of interest waiting for you on the counter. Needless to say We absolutely loved loved loved this property. We can't wait to go back and enjoy this condo in the future!

Beautifully professionally decorated, top floor, corner unit. Great location, had everything we needed. Unit has boogie boards, beach toys, chairs in the front closet. Wish I would have know that before I purchased ours however I just added to their collection now. :) Close to everything you need. Only downside to the trip were the amount of jellyfish. Kids were stung multiple times daily but didnt slow them down. I will rent this condo again.

Wonderful place with even better views

We had an awesome time at Ocean Vista #1201. We were 5 adults and 4 teens, we all felt the same about this place and it’s location. We had plenty of space, never felt like we were on top of each other. Kitchen had everything we needed. The balcony was spacious with plenty of seating for all. Decor is modern and amenities are updated. Beach is but steps away. Restaurants are within walking distance. Very happy with our stay.

Great getaway!

We had a great experience with our good friends at Ocean Vista 1201! After a long couple months of “stay at home” orders this was a wonderful getaway. The condo was perfect for 4 adults, 4 kids and a baby. It was well stocked and had an amazing location and view. We would definitely return!

Beautiful condo with awesome views

This condo is truly amazing! It has been recently updated top to bottom. It is on the top floor (12th floor) and has amazing views of both the ocean and bay sides of the island. The balcony is huge with wrap around views. The beds and bathrooms are great as well. We will be back!

Beautiful View!

You get a gorgeous view of the island from this condo, the balcony is large and well equipped with tables and chairs. The inside is just as the pictures show, very clean and spacious. The location was perfect for my family. We are a family of 5 adults, 3 19yr old's, my husband and myself and we had everything we needed close. The elevators were fast and we never had to wait, the pool area was clean and well kept. My only complaint was we could not rent beach chairs and umbrellas at the condo, we had to go to the bar a few doors down to rent and they were set up on their public beach, the bar employee encouraged us to leave a towel/blanket on the chair to discourage people from using them when we were not there....this lead to my blanket being stolen and 6 kids using our rentals while we ran into town for a few hours. Other people had actual condo rentals right out front of the building, but we were told by the desk employee that only condo owners could use that service. My thought was if you are there on behalf of and are paying the condo owner...you should get all the same amenities as they do. I would rent this condo again, with the hopes that they would change their chair rental policy as this was the only negative thing I have to say about it!
