Escapada de verano en Lake House

Una hermosa cabaña frente al lago en Parker Pond en Mount Vernon, Maine. Parker Pond es parte de los prístinos lagos de Belgrado y es el lugar perfecto para practicar kayak, canotaje, pesca, navegación, natación y otras actividades de verano. El lago es en su mayoría tranquilo con ocasionales llamadas de bribón y un águila calva. Relájate en tu terraza exterior o muelle frente al mar.

Nuestra cabaña es un lugar acogedor para que un huésped individual, una familia o muchos amigos disfruten del verano en un lago claro y de agua dulce. Disfruta de la natación y otros deportes acuáticos o relájate en el muelle con un buen libro. Nuestro hogar es tu hogar! Tendrás acceso a un kayak, una canoa y chalecos salvavidas. Y, por supuesto, un muelle en el lago! Tenemos 3 dormitorios y 2 baños, y podemos acomodar a seis personas.


A menudo nos quedamos a poca distancia de la cabaña donde se alojarán nuestros huéspedes. Estaremos cerca muchos días de los meses de verano y podemos estar disponibles para ayudarlo o recomendarle restaurantes locales.
Nuestros vecinos en el lago son muy amigables cuando pasan en botes o kayaks.

Nuestra cabaña está ubicada a cinco minutos de una tienda de conveniencia general y del Post Office Cafe. Un viaje de veinte minutos lo llevará a tiendas locales, una sala de cine y una tienda de comestibles.

Wish I was still there….

The privacy and peaceful cabin were exactly what we needed in the vacation. The cabin is in a very private cove of the lake which was perfect. The deck overlooking the water was awesome. The kids had a blast swimming and playing in the wood. At night we made camp fires and were even able to see the beautiful meteor shower! Andrea was a great host and we will definitely want to stay again! Thank you!

A Loon Retreat

My husband and I stayed at Andrea and Gregs during the last week of June. While the weather was a bit uncooperative (rain all but one day), we still had a fabulous time. We arrived late in the evening and were greeted by the calls of the Loons. They enchanted us with their sounds all week. We used the canoe provided to explore the pond and the water was actually warm enough to take a swim. The camp is a knotty pine, cozy haven. When it wasn't raining, we sat out on the fabulous deck for coffee and cocktails. We didn't see or hear anything but loons for the first 4 days on the lake. Our intent was to cook at home every night and we were amazed at how well the kitchen was equipped and that the knives were actually sharp! The camp is tucked away with total privacy, yet close enough to many wonderful Maine farm stands, golf and quaint towns. Andrea and Greg take great care of this camp and it shows. We would definitely recommend staying here to others and we would like to return someday.

Peaceful Retreat

This cottage is exactly what we were looking for while in the area for several family events. A place to unwind after each event. In the days there we were able to enjoy kayaking on Parker Pond with the kayaks that were provided. We loved sitting on the beautiful deck overlooking the water. What a gorgeous view!! We will definitely come back and stay here again.

Very Special Location

Parker Pond is a beautiful little gem, nestled deep in Maine piney woods. This cabin is beautiful, spotless, well equipped and rigorously maintained. The owners are super friendly and super responsive in the unlikely event you need any support from them. We kayaked and canoed with the equipment provided. We saw loons and deer and a great blue heron and turtles and tons of fish. Everyone in our party loved this place. Highest recommendation!

Relaxation Station

What a fantastic place to stay! Parker Pond is perfect for paddle boarding and swimming. Our check in process was easy and the property was extremely clean and inviting..and has everything you need. We had a few questions during our stay and our hosts were quick to respond and very helpful.

Great Lake House!

When we got their it was amazing beautiful lake house! Very clean, had everything we may need, and great for relaxing. Our kids loved fishing, swimming, kayaking, and going to the zoo that is three mins away! Great Lake house! We loved it and will be back!

Off the beaten path

Very secluded cabin with a beautiful view of the lake. The sunsets were amazing to watch. A little difficult with smaller children to navigate in and out of the lake, but overall a relaxing getaway.

Scenic Secluded Getaway

The cozy cottage was comfortable and very well equipped. A huge deck facing the lake provided a peaceful spot to relax. It also featured a gas grill and picnic table for outside dining. The large dock lakeside was also a beautiful spot to enjoy the scenic view in the chaise lounges located there. The owners were very prompt and responsive to any questions we had. A beautiful spot to enjoy the lake and its natural surroundings! We would recommend it.

Beyond expectations.

Everything ran very smoothly... from the booking until we left the last day. The owners were on top of everything to make sure our experience was top notch. The cabin was cozy and decorated very nicely, and the back deck was wonderful. It was pretty much our living room for the week, as well as the pier. We loved the cabin, the view, the weather, the kayaking, the peacefulness... the starry skies... and just the beauty of it all. We definitely will be back.

A Classic Maine Camp full of Quiet, Peacefulness, & Serenity

The lakes regions of Maine are generally a dense activity of water sports and revelers enjoying what the state has to offer. What this camp offers (or as some like to say cottage or cabin) is a more peaceful retreat from the world. It is a classic Maine Camp, with pine walls and ceilings that is reminiscent of many years gone by. It is warm, and hospitable, with everything you would want and need for a week or a weekend. Enjoying happy hour on the deck, overlooking the lake where you enjoyed the previous day, and then during dinner, watching the slow decent of the sun, was, well, wicked awesome. We never saw another person on land (except for the gracious hosts) and very few boats streaking along mostly on the other side of the lake. And to ensure you realize where you are, as the sun set and earth rotated into darkness, the magical loons let you know they are around with their wonderful calling. I always hesitate to leave a review as I would like to just keep this place for myself, but alas, I would be doing you a disservice should you have the opportunity to visit, please do so. You will leave our great state rested and rejuvenated.

Amazing lake house for a wonderful family weekend

We loved our stay. Everything is great in the house. There are 2 bedrooms with their own bathroom, which is very convenient. Beds are very comfortable. Kitchen is well equipped and living room is cosy! Above all, we really loved the outdoor space to eat outside and chill on the deck and around the firepit. View on the lake is gorgeous! Owner is great to deal with. Very responsive and making sure we were happy. 5 stars without any hesitation. We will come back!

Quiet, relaxing, lovely

The house was comfortable with fantastic views from the kitchen/dining room/living room. The expansive deck was amazing - great place to watch the sunset (directly opposite the camp) each evening. You can't see any neighbors and the traffic on the lake consisted of the occasional kayak or slow-moving pontoon boat. And lots of loons, of course. Andrea was great to work with and lovely to meet. Really couldn't have asked for a more relaxing place to get away from it all.

Beautiful relaxing vacation spot

We had a phenomenal time relaxing at Andrea + Greg's house. The house was very clean and stocked with everything needed. Our children enjoyed the lake right outside the door and the small boat launch. The location felt so secluded, it felt like a private Oasis. We will definitely return.

Next best thing to Heaven!

If you have never been to Maine, you have no idea what you are missing. And if you have never been to the Belgrade Lakes Region in Maine, you must consider this your next vacation spot! This property is just perfect! We have never stayed any place like it. The house itself is clean, comfortable and has every kitchen gadget you could ever need! The deck and its view is spectacular! Parker Pond is the most beautiful, serene and clean body of water you can find! Owners Andrea and Greg are simply the best and so very accomodating and hospitable! Cannot wait to return!!

The Loons are waiting at this Lovely Place on the Lake.

We were very impressed with this Maine Camp on beautiful Parker pond. If you want to get away from it all, yet have all you need, this is the place for you. We visited with our Daugher, Son-in-Law and two grandsons and had enough space for us all. We love to cook and we had enough supplies to do that and the use of nice grill on the beautiful deck. The owners came to welcome us with fresh towels upon our arrival. They were great to work with and made the rental process easy. The furnishings and beds are comfortable. The swimming and fishing were great. The grandchildren enjoyed catching fish. We brought our own kayaks but the 2 available for use help get us all on the water together. If you are looking for a nice relaxing place on the lake you have found it here. And don't forget the beautiful call of the loons ... I know we won't .

Best place ever!!!

Everything was go great - the place, the water you could see right through it was so clear and everything was supplied in the cabin. The pond was just beautiful, kayaks and swimming - it was just wonderful. And the place - outside fires...the deck...the bedrooms were great and the showers powerful and wonderful - we had so much fun. The kitchen was supplied with everything and my first time with gas stoves and I want one. Would definitely stay there again. Just the best place ever - the pond was so quiet like we had a private place - more than 5 stars!!!!

Our family purchased the home next door 13 years ago, and have been coming up each summer with our three children. Parker Pond is unique in its conservation efforts, making it an unspoiled destination. We bought this cottage and its 550 ft of lake frontage and private cove two years ago, and love sharing it with family and friends. Our children are in their 20's and still spend a great amount of time with us each summer at Parker. We look forward to sharing this beautiful setting with you!
