Casa de troncos de 6,000 pies cuadrados frente al lago que puede dormir 28 cómodamente. Completo con muelle, chimenea, carbón, parrilla, bañera de hidromasaje grande y hermosas vistas al lago Mill Creek en Marshall, Illinois. Perfecto para reuniones familiares o parejas escapadas. Dormitorio principal con dos camas queen y baño principal. Dos dormitorios arriba con camas queen y baño completo. Habitación con literas en el sótano con 4 camas queen en literas queen. Baño completo abajo.

Memory Lane

My husband and I made plans to travel with his parents. They had fished and camped at Mill Creek in the past. They are older now and stated how much they missed doing that but alas the page had turned, putting that time of their life behind them. We began looking for a place to stay, wanting a place on the water with a dock for fishing. I stumbled across this listing we were open to traveling other places but when we saw this place we knew it was the one. I’m a little particular about renting I want a place as nice or nicer than my own home & this place did not disappoint. My family fished all day then we played games, shot pool or relaxed in then hot tub in the evening . My in-laws had the best time, said it was amazing. My mother came home early from a trip, she had gotten caught in the hurricane in N C not wanting to leave her alone I messaged the owner to ask if she could come too. She messaged back quickly telling us she was more than welcomed. A great time was had by all, caught enough fish to bring home for a fish fry. Would definitely recommend.

Totally perfect for totality

Our group of six convened from Michigan and Kansas for the total eclipse of April, 2024. The house was fabulous - in great shape, clean, well-stocked, and spacious - we enjoyed all the indoor amenities, including ping pong, pool, and foosball, and spent time in all the outdoor spaces: the covered front porch, back deck, patio picnic area, hot tub, fire ring, and we enjoyed the entire eclipse and 2 minutes of totality on the lakefront deck. And Jenny, the host, was promptly available and helpful before and during our stay (including fixing a glitch with the hot tub). And we enjoyed the eclipse events in nearby Marshall, as well as hikes in Lincoln Trail State Park, Fay Pickering Memorial Trail, and Rocky Branch Nature Preserve.

Beautiful Property

We needed a place to stay for a funeral in Terre Haute. This was the only place we could find large enough to accomodate our family. It was a beautiful cottage on a beautiful lake. Very clean and safe. The owner was responsive and friendly. Kitchen was well appointed. We would like to go back in the summer time.

Perfect place to connect

This is the perfect place to connect with family and friends. The home is gorgeous and located in a quiet lakefront community. Lots of space to spread out, both inside and out. The kitchen is well appointed, but could use a stovetop griddle or black stone to make cooking for a large group more accommodating. Easy access to the lakefront deck via a very long wooden walkway with stairs. The hot tub and fire pit were perfect for a cool October evening.

Peaceful Family Getaway

Beautiful property had everything we needed for three families to enjoy a long weekend on the lake. I would highly recommend for families or small groups looking to make memories and connect with nature. Breathtaking views of the water and wildlife, nice dock for fishing, hot tub, cozy fire pit, and even a ping pong table and pool table to keep everyone entertained. We would 100% book again.

Perfect for a wedding!

We rented this beautiful cabin for a place we could use as a retreat and a place to use for the wedding party to get ready at for the big day! It was perfect! The weather did not cooperate so we used the cabin for picture before the wedding. Turned out great! This property is perfect for just that. Anything you need, it has. Accommodated all the wedding party, plus a few more. Wonderful experience!

Beautiful Home

The home is beautiful, well maintained and comfortable. We do wish keys were left so we could lock up the property when we came and went. The beds were also slightly hard and could have used a foam mattress topper. Other then that everything was perfect. The docks were great to hang out on and enjoy the view of the water.

Absolutely Beautiful

We had an amazing time, this place looked beautiful even in winter, watching the dear grazing through the window delightful! The host was very responsive and super helpful. We will be back in summer to enjoy the lake!

Best Christmas Trip

We checked in and we’re blown away with how beautiful the cabin was. Took my breath away. My family and I were so impressed. There was plenty to do while there…. A pool table, ping pong and a hot tub!!! The kids all got to have a sleepover in the many bunk beds down stairs, there was plenty of room for our big family to hang out. It was amazing and made our whole experience so special. The only issues we ran into were that the garbage disposal was not working and we didn’t realize that until after we were doing dishes and food had went down in there, so cleaning it out was not fun. The down stair bathroom toilet clogged and we were unable to locate a plunger and there weren’t many skillets to cook with. But besides those minor hick ups everything else was perfect. I hope to be able to come and stay again. I would recommend it to everyone at least once.

Absolutely fantastic!!

I rented this house for a family get together with my family, my parents, and my sister’s family. It was incredibly peaceful, relaxing, quiet and beautiful. Everything we were looking for and more. The kids 7,9,and 11 had so much fun downstairs with the cool bunk beds, the ping pong and pool table, and of course the warm, bubbling jacuzzi! (The adults also enjoyed all these games and relaxing in the jacuzzi in the evening). We had fires around the fire pit, sat out on the two tiered dock. I can’t think of a single thing we needed that wasn’t there. The hostess was available by phone and messaging on Vrbo, very responsive, gracious, helpful. If you see this available, BOOK IT! I would definitely go back! The only thing we could possibly find wrong was a few crumbs in the appliance garage in the kitchen. The house was otherwise perfectly tidy. The view from the back windows is breathtaking!!!
