Cabin nestled in the woods for a quiet relaxing getaway with large outdoor deck!

This property is in great location and time spent on the outdoor desk is worth the trip. The living room has open ceilings and makes for a great place to unwind after a full day. Each bedroom is equipped with a queen size bed and 2 of the bedrooms downstairs have smart TVs. The kitchen is fully stocked and the full bathroom is beautiful (don't forget to enjoy the jetted tub). This cabin is just a 2minute drive away from Castle Finn Winery and 4 minutes from Outlaw Grill & Southfork Homestead Pumpkin Patch (seasonal). Marshall IL has plenty to offer- such as Mill Creek Lake & Park, which is just 4 miles away - and has pontoon rentals/boating/fishing, etc. as well as local shops., Walmart and restaurants.
One thing to note: the cabin is 2 levels- the entrance is ground level and the living space is located on the second level. There are 2 bedrooms and the utility room located on the lower level and 1 bedroom and the bathroom located on the upper level.
There is absolutely no smoking of any kind permitted in the house. There are absolutely no parties permitted on the property.
This home is also used by my family, and I would expect all guests to treat this home just like their own.

Perfect country cabin

Our family stayed here during our son’s wedding weekend. The property is perfectly secluded in a peaceful location off the beaten path. The large deck was great for our morning coffee and the hummingbirds joined us. The owner left us a very nice welcome note congratulating us on our son’s wedding which was a great personal touch. Thank you for a great stay!

Lake trip

We were looking for an affordable and spacious cabin close to Millcreek lake and this was absolutely perfect! Great location, spacious, clean and had all the little extras you need! We would love to come back!

Great cabin in Eastern Illinois!

I am from the area and we came back to visit family. The cabin is off the beaten path which is nice for quiet, nature, and seclusion, but close to town and other area of interests. The owner has great information about restaurants and sights in the area and is easy to contact if needed. The cabin has everything you need and was clean.

We really liked it there and would stay again. The air conditioner wasn't working when we arrived on a Friday evening. The hosts worked some magic and got it going. Very responsive and helpful hosts!

Property owner was very responsive to all our questions. House was very clean in a very nice area that seems remote but close enough to amenities. Great place to unwind and disconnect. Loved the area and our stay.

Peaceful and relaxing

We enjoyed a quiet weekend in the country. The cabin is comfortable and cozy. Everything we needed was provided. Communication with the host was excellent. Check in was very easy and smooth.

Great place nestled in the hills

Overall it was great. There were no issues and the only inconveniences were poor cell reception and weak wifi. However, I know both of these are becasue of location. Also the one outside trash in was small and easily overfilled

BEAUTIFUL

We stayed just the weekend, time with our grown busy kids. This home was GREAT‼️. Beautiful area, very accommodating, really clean. The home had 3 bedrooms so all had own space. The deck on the back was our fav place to be (may need updated outdoor furniture, getting a little saggy) but enough room for all of us to have a seat. We could have come with only our clothes and still have everything we needed because of what was supplied. I would absolutely stay here again. * 4 wheel drive may be necessary to get up the driveway. But flat parking at top*
