You can have a one of a kind, private place on the lake, that rivals any property on a lake hours further away. Enjoy the lake and the outdoors all day, then bring your family together for dinner and entertaining in the unbelievable family room!

Welcome to your dream lake vacation experience. Overlooking 800 acre Mill Creek Lake, this one-of-a kind contemporary lake retreat boasts a two-slip boat dock, jet ski lift, and Tiki Bar. That's right a TIKI BAR on the water. Bring your boat, jet ski, bike, and fishing and hunting gear, or just pack a bag and prepare for complete relaxation. The 1600 sq.ft. open living room/kitchen provides space for gathering around the large granite island, sharing a meal at the 10-person dining table, and enjoying the lake views year round. In this Midwest paradise your group will enjoy a master bedroom with marble en-suite on the main floor and two large bedrooms plus full bath in the walkout basement. The kid oriented basement includes complete toy room, tree with a tree swing, fort, rock wall, reading nook and twisty slide. An upstairs loft provides additional sleeping quarters with gorgeous views of the lake and surrounding woods. There is an office space with high speed internet in the loft. Outdoor living space includes wrap-around deck with dining table and two separate lounge areas, a large yard, charcoal grill, and a Hot Springs hot tub sunken in the deck off of the master bedroom. From a monthly stay to a three-day weekend, this will be your group’s new happy place.
Kayaks or Canoes are available through Clark County Park District. The fee is $15 per day during your stay. Just one mile away is the renowned Faye Pickering Mountain Bike Trails. I will attach information on your reservation welcome packet.
In order to maintain this dream space: NO SMOKING, No large parties, unsupervised groups, drugs, fireworks, discharging firearms, and animals are not permitted. Groups that don't follows these rules will be asked to leave will be asked to leave without a refund.

Great weekend!

Our group had a really nice time during our stay. Great location, easy check-in, nice accommodations with plenty of supplies and fresh linens! House was well prepared. Would suggest some attention to outdoor landscape and cleanliness of house and dock. The lift was unable to accommodate our boat. The hull pads need adjustment. Thank you

Lovely home to share with family!

This is a beautiful property nestled close to the lake shore. This custom home is wonderfully appointed, spacious and clean! The kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals and enjoy eating at the bar or large dining table. The bedrooms are large and we found the beds to be very comfortable. Would definitely stay again!

Family Birthday

We had a fantastic time at A Luxury Family Mill Creek Lake Retreat. There isn't a single thing I can really complain about. The property is stunning, well stocked and maintained, and straightforward to get to. Ample seating for dining, playing board games, and relaxing by the fire. We'd gladly stay again with our extended family.

Amazing house and dock. Boat lift was a nice addition. Golf carts are worth the extra money to get to and from the dock. Hot tub was nice. Quick responses when I needed to reach out to host.

Mill Creek Luxury Lake House

We have stayed on Mill Creek a number of times. We do not come on weekends. The beauty of the lake and privacy of Sunday night through Friday will exceed your expectations. Nice Stay

Came for a family get together and eclipse viewing. Great location, nice house and yard, amentites. There were a few minor issues but would recommend this property. We had a lot of fun at the house and surrounding little towns.

Great fall getaway!

We booked our stay over our kids fall break. The colors were amazing! We were impressed with the home and the setting on the water. The grounds are kept up well and it is a quiet neighborhood. The home had everything we needed! Close by there is a biking park that we biked to and mostly hiked. We had it to ourselves and it was beautiful scenery and well maintained. The town of Marshall is small, but we did not book it for shopping or town, but we enjoyed getting pizza delivered and visiting their coffee shop. The central location of this property is great, many state parks within driving distance. We enjoyed our stay very much! Highly recommend!

Beautiful Lake Home

The home was spacious, updated, private. Nice size bedrooms, large bathrooms, huge gathering areas. We loved the lake the most- pristine water, privacy, fun spaces to entertain or just lounge by the water. My friends all gave me 5 stars for finding this place. One of the best we've stayed at over the past 5+ years. Owner was great too- very accommodating, responsive. Took a fun visit to nearby Casey, IL (about 15-20 Mins) and saw all the BIG things they have in town. Thank you for a nice vacation!!

Beautiful Family Getaway

We really enjoyed our stay at this Mill Creek home. The home is beautiful, spacious, clean and comfortable. The child-friendly basement was perfect for our two grandchildren (ages 2 & 3). The location is beautiful and quiet. TJ was quick to respond and meet all of our needs. We wish we had been there long enough to take advantage of all the property had to offer. We would definitely recommend this beautiful home.

Excellent place for a family get away

Overall excellent location, home, etc. Would recommend to any family trying to get away for a long weekend. Only critic of the property was a few areas of cleanliness. The ice maker was a bit dirty as was the fridge down stairs. Other than that, great spot and excellent host.

Annual family vacation

Loved the property. This is our fifth year all at different places and we all want to return to this home. Beautiful setting Awesome dock and tiki bar. TJ was great to work with. Very responsive and made things right right away.

Celebrating a birthday and Christmas with family

We are a family of 7 adults and an infant that stayed for two nights to celebrate a birthday and Christmas together. TJ was a very attentive host that responded quickly to any messages. We loved how open and spacious it was. We took advantage of the beautiful Christmas decorations by taking some family photos. It was definitely a very enjoyable stay.

Great place to relax

We rented this home as an alternative to several hotel rooms. It has such character and a ton to do for the kids. The home was clean and the beds were very comfortable. Everything was there that you need. Thank you so much for helping make our weekend memorable.

Beautiful Getaway
