Lo mejor de ambos mundos incluye la privacidad de 12 acres en la cima de un largo viaje privado y la conveniencia de estar cerca del Smugglers Notch Resort (2/10 de una milla al otro lado de la carretera para ser exactos). Smuggs fue elegido # 1 en la estación de esquí del Este por la revista SKI en 2017 y ha sido votado como el # 1 Family Resort durante 15 años seguidos.

A nice stay

Very charming home. Great amenities, very nice location, communicative owner. Probably in need of a bit of a sprucing up inside.

Underdelivered

Our stay in Vermont was a tug of war between the beauty of the exterior and the uncleanliness of the interior. We were never given a welcome email from the owner in regards to checking in. The jacuzzi was not clean and did have an odor. The pool and filters were also not clean. The listing says the pool can be heated but upon inquiry while on site, the owner informed us of a "missing part", making the pool very difficult to be in for a long period. The owner was able to get someone on site to clean both the jacuzzi and the pool on day 2 but this should have been done prior to check in. There were electrical issues, which probably explained why the jacuzzi took so long to reach a comfortable temperature to be in. It also affected the kitchen sink garbage disposal intermittently. There were bee hives on the balcony level, making it difficult to enjoy the landscape and the jacuzzi, without a bee or several bees, coming to say hi. The pots and pans were very dirty and upon washing, residue would consequently be lifted up from the bottom of the pan, making it hazardous to use thereafter. There was also mice in the house, leaving feces on towels throughout the vicinity and in the kitchen cabinets. The owner informed us of "high pitched sound mechanisms plugged into outlets to deter them from coming indoors", yet we saw 2-3 different mice throughout our 5 day stay. We did not leave any food unexposed for this to be the case. The screens on the doorways were broken, making for difficult entry and exit. The owner was communicative but only upon inquiry. Had these mishaps been explained prior to check in, we could have been ready for all these negatives. Unfortunate we could not cancel as there was no option to get a refund. I would not recommend coming here.

Needs work

Location was amazing! Pool was perfect, but wished they gave us warning that there was a deep end that non swimmers would have trouble swimming in. The house needs a lot of work. Door knobs coming off when pulled lightly, bathroom flushes not working properly and has to be fixed which was a hassle, lights turning off if sauna is turned on at times, kitchen sink does not drain at all and needs to be fixed, hard to cook. Overall the home needs lots of work. Place has no AC if it becomes too hot, which should be included during extreme hot days. Otherwise it’s pretty chilly during the night time. The property and experience otherwise was amazing especially with little children. Property owner had prompt replies.

Nice getaway in the mountains

This condo offers a nice getaway to the mountains. We chose this condo because of the mountains, pool and tennis court and we thoroughly enjoyed all three. We also loved the outdoor gas grill on the back deck. The owner is easy to communicate with and we appreciated his prompt response to our questions. We traveled with 3 generations of our family and there was something for eveyone. Thanks Nick!

Perfect for a group ski trip

Great property very close to Smuggs. Roughly a 5 minute drive to parking lot 1 giving you access to Sterling Lift, Madonna I and II. The house itself was great overall. The only issues worth mentioning were the electricity in the basement being finicky and the sauna not functioning as a result.

Great place for a large family gathering

Great location and so much to do at the house you don't really need to leave. The kids loved the in-ground pool complete with basketball net and pool toys as well as the fire pit for s'mores. The adults loved the sauna and the spacious deck overseeing the mountains, perfect place to enjoy a mug of tea at sunrise. Hiking and swimming nearby as well as some great restaurants and ben & jerry's just down the road at Smuggler's Notch. The only drawbacks would be that you do not have access to the hot tub unless the other side is vacant.

Amazing place for a large group!

This place could not have been more perfect. We had our staff retreat here and there was more than enough space. We loved renting both sides and the hot tub was icing on the cake. The property manager was super helpful and we highly recommend staying here. So close to Smuggs and you can walk to a bar at the bottom of the hill. What more do you need?

In the recent years, some of us have moved to Vermont to enjoy the Life-style and nature of this beautiful state and to get more involved with the business. Each family member collaborates in their area to assure a fantastic experience and constantly try to improve our guests' experience.


We all love the great outdoors, hence we jumped at the opportunity when this property came on the market. We have made immediate improvements and plan to make many more as time and finances allow. The main attribute is the prime location of the property. You will not find another estate privately owned and close enough to Smugglers' Notch in which you can put on your ski boots and walk to the resort.


Secondly but equally important, the beautiful views and scenery in this 12-acre estate. You’ll be amazed at the breathtaking grounds and views. My cousin, Kiri, says there is a sort of 'firewall for the mind that keeps you in the moment'.



Lastly, the welcoming ambiance of the property. The wood finishing and classic decorative style gives and eminent cozy feeling that will mark your stay.
